(Scene starts on the map screen of a base at the bottom of the Code Geass’s world’s Mt. Fuji. Knightmare Frames are on the map. The Ra Cailum appears in a flash of light.)

「艦長、本艦はゲートを突破しました!」
Torres: Captain, our ship as breached the Gate!

ブライト
「現在位置は?」
Bright: And our present surroundings?

トーレス
「アークエンジェルから提供されたデータによれば、
日本の富士山麓です!」
Torres: According to the data the Archangel provided, we’re at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan!

弁慶
「間違いない、富士山が見える!」
Benkei: No doubt about it, I can see Mt. Fuji right there!

渓
「カレンが言ってた通り、
あたし達が知ってる形じゃないけど…!」
Kei: But just like Kallen said, it looks different than what we know...!

(Ra Cailum’s radar pings.)

トーレス
「高熱源体、多数接近!
0時、3時、6時より真っ直ぐ!」
Torres: Multiple high energy heat sources approaching from 0, 3, and 6 o’clock!

ブライト
「ナイトメアフレームか?」
Bright: Are they Knightmare Frames?

トーレス
「待って下さい…!」
Torres: Just a moment...!

弁慶
「ザフトと違って、いきなり撃ってこないのか」
Benkei: Unlike [ZAFT], they didn’t fire on us out of nowhere.

トーレス
「識別終了! ナイトメアフレーム、
サザーランドとグラスゴーです!」
Torres: Identified! These are Knightmare Frames known as Sutherlands and Glasgows!

ミサト
「艦長、ここが日本なら、[ブリタニア]の勢力圏内です。
敵包囲網を突破し、太平洋上へ脱出すべきかと」
Misato: Captain, if we’re in Japan, then we’re within [Britannia]’s sphere of influence. We should break through the enemy encirclement and escape out onto the Pacific Ocean.

ブライト
「いや、
まずはこちら側に交戦の意思がないことを伝えろ」
Bright: No, the first thing we’ll do is tell them we have no desire for hostilities.

ミサト
「ですが、ブリタニアとの戦闘は避けられませんよ?」
Misato: But isn’t fighting Britannia unavoidable?

ブライト
「わかっているが、こちらから先に仕掛けたら、
侵略者として扱われる」
Bright: I understand that, but if we make the first move, we’ll be seen as invaders.

ブライト
「後でブリタニアにどう喧伝されようが、最初に
戦闘回避の意思表示を行ったという事実は必要だ。
でなければ、この世界全ての勢力を敵に回しかねん」
Bright: Regardless of what Britannia may say after the fact, it is necessary that our first course of action be to express our desire to avoid hostilities. Otherwise, we risk making an enemy of all forces in this world.

ミサト
「確かに…」
Misato: You have a point, but...

オルガ
「すぐにドンパチが始まるもんだと思ってたが…」
Orga: I kinda figured we’d be in a shootout first thing...

シマ
「どうやら、ブリタニアは無人偵察機を
送り込んだだけのことはあって、異世界から来た
我々に興味を持っているようだな」
Shima: From what it would seem, Britannia has only sent in drones and have an interest in the parallel world.

トーレス
「艦長、先方から応答がありました。
直ちに武装解除し、投降せよとのことです」
Torres: Captain, we’ve received a transmission from Britannia. They want us to disarm and surrender immediately.

ブライト
「受け入れなかったら、攻撃する…か?」
Bright: And if we don’t accept those demands, they will attack... Correct?

トーレス
「その通りです」
Torres: Exactly, sir.

ブライト
「要求を拒否しろ。
それと、イサリビとオケアノスに
ブリタニアより先に撃つなと伝えろ」
Bright: Deny their request. And relay to the Isaribi and Oceanus to not fire until Britannia does.

トーレス
「了解!」
Torres: Roger!

ティエリア
「…葛城二佐、現在の状況を打破するための
プランを提案したい」
Tieria: ...Lieutenant Colonel Katsuragi, I’d like to propose a plan to see us through the current predicament.

ミサト
「あなたが?」
Misato: You would?

ティエリア
「ともかく、転送するデータを見てもらいたい」
Tieria: Not quite. Have a look the data transmitted to us.

ミサト
「これは…!
脱出ルートだけじゃなく、敵の配置や
行動予測、指揮官の情報まで…」
Misato: This is...! It’s not just an escape route, it has predictions of enemy deployment and possible actions, even details on their commander...

ティエリア
「それはソレスタルビーイングの戦術予報士、
スメラギ・李・ノリエガから送られて来た物だ」
Tieria: This was sent to me by [Celestial Being]’s tactical forecaster, Sumeragi Lee Noriega.

渓
「戦術予報士?」
Kei: Tactical forecaster?

ティエリア
「作戦参謀と考えてもらっていい。
既にミス・スメラギはゲートが出現した段階から
この事態を予想し、戦術プランを立案…」
Tieria: You can think of it as a mission advisor. Miss Sumeragi had already predicted a situation like this after the Gate appeared and prepared a plan in advance...

ティエリア
「先程、僕達が提供したデータを元に修正を行った」
Tieria: She also made appropriate adjustments moments ago, based on the data we provided.

ミサト
「この短時間で…!?」
Misato: In such a short time...!?

ティエリア
「許可なくデータの提供を行ったことは詫びる。
最終的にどうするかはそちらに委ねる」
Tieria: I apologize for sending over the data without permission. Our ultimate course of action is up to you.

ミサト
(ティエリアからの情報提供があったとは言え、
こちらの内部事情まで踏まえた上での内容ね…)
Misato: (Even though Tieria provided the information, it considers our own personal circumstances as well...)

ミサト
「ブライト艦長、
ソレスタルビーイングから提示されたプランは、
現状において最善策だと判断します」
Misato: Captain Bright, I believe the plan presented by Celestial Being is the best we have at present.

ブライト
「よかろう。
では、それを採用し、現戦域から脱出する」
Bright: Very well. Then we’ll abide by it and escape the combat zone.

トーレス
「艦長、敵部隊が攻撃を開始しました!」
Torres: Captain, the enemy forces have begun their attack!

ブライト
「直ちに応戦する! 各機は出撃しろ!」
Bright: Return fire immediately! Launch all units!

(The player’s team, Kallen, and Setsuna deploy.)

カレン
「あたしは戻って来たよ!
ブリタニア、お前達を倒すために!」
Kallen: I’m back! And I’m here to take you down, Britannia!

刹那
(俺達がいない間に、この世界はどう変化している…?)
Setsuna: (Has the world changed during the time we were away...?)

鉄也
「並行世界とはいえ、日本がああいう連中に
蹂躙されているのは許し難いな」
Tetsuya: Parallel world or not, seeing Japan overrun by people like them is inexcusable.

健一
「ええ…富士山のあの姿を見ると尚更です」
Kenichi: Yeah... Especially when you take a look at Mt. Fuji.

めぐみ
「綺麗な山をあんなにして…! 酷過ぎるわ!」
Megumi: Doing that to such a beautiful mountain...! It’s too much!

アスカ
「ま、ある種の見せしめでもあるんだろうけど…
私でもさすがにどうかと思うわよ」
Asuka: Well, I guess it’s supposed to set some kind of example... But that’s worse than I would have ever expected.

龍馬
「浅間山ならともかく、
富士山に格別な思い入れがあるわけじゃねえが…
あの様を見せつけられりゃあ、怒りが湧いてくるぜ」
Ryoma: Mt. Asama is one thing, but I’m not particularly fond of Mt. Fuji... Still, seeing what they did to it just pisses me off.

伊奈帆
(…日本人に対する心理的効果は抜群だな)
Inaho: (...It certainly has a powerful psychological effect on the Japanese.)

カレン
「この世界の日本は、
ブリタニアによって存在を歪まされた!」
Kallen: This world’s Japan has been completely distorted by Britannia!

刹那
(そう、歪みだ)
Setsuna: (Yes, distorted.)

カレン
「私はそれを正す!」
Kallen: And I’m going to rectify it!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

トーレス
「敵の増援部隊が接近中!」
Torres: An enemy reinforcement unit is approaching!

ミサト
(これも織り込み済みというわけね、
ソレスタルビーイングの戦術予報士は…)
Misato: (This was also taken into account by Celestial Being’s tactical forecaster...)

Britannia-Union Military Facility – Private Quarters

グラハム
「ソレスタルビーイングのガンダムが…?」
Graham: Celestial Being’s Gundams...?

ビリー
「ああ。
例の光球から出現した所属不明艦と
行動を共にしているそうだ」
Billy: Yes. It appears they’re working together with the unidentified ship that appeared from the light sphere.

グラハム
「フッ…ここしばらくの間、
姿を見せなくなったとは思っていたが…
そういうことだったか」
Graham: Heh... I thought they hadn’t been around for some time now... So that’s what happened.

ビリー
「これまでの調査で、あの光球が
別の世界に繋がっていると推測されていたが、
今回で信憑性が増した」
Billy: Previous investigations of the light sphere had given rise to the hypothesis that it may be connected to another world. Now that theory’s authenticity has shot through the roof.

グラハム
「並行世界の機動兵器か…。
ブリタニア・ユニオンを始めとする各国は
手に入れようと躍起になるな」
Graham: A parallel world’s mobile weapons, eh... The Britannia-Union and the other nations will all be desperate to get their hands on them.

ビリー
「けど、彼らの戦力はかなり強大だ。
そう簡単にはいかないだろうね」
Billy: But they appear quite powerful. Taking them won’t be easy.

グラハム
「だからこそ、血眼になっているのだ。
ソレスタルビーイングのガンダムを含め、
この世界で脅威となりかねない存在だからな」
Graham: That’s why they’re going to be desperate. Like Celestial Being’s Gundams, they could become a threat to this world.

ビリー
「僕としても興味は尽きないよ、異世界の技術は」
Billy: I admit I have my own interest in parallel world technology.

グラハム
「ビリー、エイフマン教授に
カスタムフラッグの完成を急ぐよう
頼んでおいてくれ」
Graham: Billy, ask Professor Eifman to speed up the Custom Flag’s completion.

ビリー
「やれやれ…機体自体が無茶な注文だって言うのに、
まだ急かすのかい?」
Billy: Good lord... The machine itself is already unreasonable to request in the first place, and now you want him to be quick about it?

グラハム
「好機を逃がしたくないのさ。
告白にはタイミングが重要だ」
Graham: I can’t miss my chance, you know. A confession is all about the timing.

ビリー
「はいはい、まるで恋する乙女だな、君は」
Billy: Right, right. You’re almost like a maiden in love.

グラハム
「フッ、私は乙女座だからな」
Graham: Heh, well I am a Virgo after all.


(Scene begins on the previous map screen. More Knightmare Frames appear.)


刹那
「地上戦に特化したナイトメアフレームなど、
俺のガンダムの敵ではない」
Setsuna: Knightmare Frames that specialize in ground combat are not appropriate as my Gundam’s enemies.

カレン
(敵の中にあいつは…いないか)
Kallen: (I don’t see that guy among the enemies...)

カレン
(白カブト…
お前が現れたら、その時は私がこの手で倒す!)
Kallen: (The white helm... The second he shows up, I’ll take him down myself!)

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

フォセッタ
「敵部隊、沈黙しました。
周辺に新たな熱源反応なし」
Fosetta: Enemy forces have gone silent. There are no new readings detected in the vicinity.

シマ
「突破口は開けたようですね」
Shima: We appear to have made an opening.

オルガ
「こんな所に長居は無用だ。さっさと行こうぜ」
Orga: No point overstaying our welcome. Let’s get out of here.

ブライト
「各機は直ちに帰艦せよ。
その後、指定された合流ポイントへ向かう」
Bright: All units, return to your ships immediately. After that, we’ll proceed to the designated rendezvous point.

Tokyo Settlement – Area 11 Viceroy’s Office


ダールトン
「申し訳ありません、総督。
光球から現れた者共を取り逃がしました」
Darlton: My apologies, Viceroy. We failed to capture the ones that appeared from the light sphere.

コーネリア
「ガンダム共の特殊粒子の影響か?」
Cornelia: Due to the special particles those Gundams emit?

ギルフォード
「はっ。あれによって、
レーダーや各種センサーが攪乱されたそうです。
引き続き、捜索は行っていますが…」
Guilford: Yes. It caused a disturbance to all forms of radars and sensors. We continued to search for them, but...

コーネリアの
「ソレスタルビーイングが関わっている以上、
そう簡単に尻尾を掴めまいが、彼らは目立つ」
Cornelia: With Celestial Being involved, it will be difficult to follow their trail. However they do stand out.

コーネリア
「各地区に連絡し、広く網を張れ。
それと、光球周辺地帯の警備を強化せよ。
また何か現れる可能性がある」
Cornelia: Contact every sector and cast a wide net. Also, strengthen the defenses around the area of the light sphere. There’s a possibility something else may appear from it.

ダールトン
「イエス・ユア・ハイネス」
Darlton: Yes, Your Highness.

ユーフェミア
「…光球から現れた者達は、ソレスタルビーイングと
既に確固たる協力関係を結んでいるのでしょうか」
Euphemia: ...Does it look like those who came from the light sphere already have a firm partnership with Celestial Being?

コーネリア
「ああ。
彼らのガンダムが5機揃っていたことが
何よりの証拠だ」
Cornelia: It does. The fact that they had 5 of their Gundams together is proof of that.

ダールトン
「この度の戦闘については
[黒の騎士団]や潜伏中の日本解放戦線も察知しており、
連動するおそれがあります」
Darlton: The [Black Knights] and the Japan Liberation Front, which are in hiding, have most likely noticed the battle and may seek to cooperate with them.

コーネリア
「そう、
奴らの士気を削ぐ手を打っておく必要がある」
Cornelia: Yes, we will have to take the necessary steps to discourage them from doing so.

ユーフェミア
「総督、私にも何か手伝えることはないでしょうか?」
Euphemia: Viceroy, is there anything I can do to assist?

コーネリア
「今はない。
副総督には予定通り、施設訪問を行ってもらう。
皇族としての務めだ」
Cornelia: Not at the moment. As Sub-Viceroy, you will visit the facility as planned. It’s your duty as a member of the royal family.

ユーフェミア
「…わかりました」
Euphemia: ...I understand.

(副総督といっても、私はお飾りに過ぎない…。
何も出来ないし、何かを成そうともしていない…)
Euphemia: (Even though I’m the Sub-Viceroy, I’m little more than a decoration... There’s nothing I can do or accomplish myself...)

青ヶ島付近まで辿り着けた」
Benkei: That was a pretty solid plan back there. We made it all the way to Aogashima without any run-ins with the enemy.

Misato: Yes...

トーレス
「艦長、ソレスタルビーイングの
スメラギ戦術予報士からの通信です」
Torres: Captain, we have a transmission from Celestial Being’s Tactical Forecaster, Sumeragi.

ブライト
「わかった。
イサリビとオケアノスにも映像を回してくれ」
Bright: Understood. Put the video feed up for the Isaribi and Oceanus as well.

トーレス
「了解」
Torres: Roger.

スメラギ
「初めまして。
ソレスタルビーイングの戦術予報士、
スメラギ・李・ノリエガです」
Sumeragi: It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Celestial Being’s Tactical Forecaster, Sumeragi Lee Noriega.

ブライト
「ラー・カイラム艦長、ブライト・ノア大佐だ。
そちらの戦術プランのおかげで助かった」
Torres: I’m Bright Noa, captain of the Ra Cailum. The plan you provided us with was of great assistance. Thank you for it.

スメラギ
「いえ、お気になさらずに。
そちらには我々のマイスター達がいますし…」
Sumeragi: Don’t worry about it. You have our own Meisters with you, after all...

スメラギ
「それに、あなた方のような特化戦力は、
世界に不要な混乱を与える可能性があると
ソレスタルビーイングが判断したからでもあります」
Sumeragi: And furthermore, Celestial Being has decided that a unique force like yours has the potential to cause unnecessary chaos in this world.

ミサト
(ずばり言ってくれるわね)
Misato: (She’s awfully frank about that.)

ブライト
「我々は最初から意図して
戦力を集結させたわけではないが…」
Bright: It was never our intention to add them to our forces...

ブライト
「時と場所によっては、混乱の原因になり得ると
自覚しているつもりだ」
Bright: Although I acknowledge that, depending on the time and place, our presence could be a source of undue chaos.

スメラギ
「そのことは承知しています」
Sumeragi: Yes, I’m aware of that.

オルガ
「だったら、俺達に何を求める?」
Orga: Alright, then what do you want from us?

スメラギ
「あなた方は、この世界におけるゲートの情報が
得られれば良いのでしょう?」
Sumeragi: All you want is information about the Gates in this world, correct?

オルガ
「ああ、そうだ」
Orga: Yeah, that’s right.

シマ
「そちらにはゲートの情報を得る手段があると?」
Shima: Do you have some means to acquire information about the Gate?

スメラギ
「ええ。私達はブリタニア・ユニオンや
他の各共同体によるゲートの調査内容について、
ある程度の情報を手に入れています」
Sumeragi: Yes. We have the information that the Britannia-Union and other groups have gathered while investigating the Gates.

弁慶
「それは大国の機密じゃないのか?」
Benkei: Wouldn’t that be classified information on a national level?

スメラギ
「その入手方法は明かせませんが…
あなた方にゲートの情報を提供しますので、
この世界から退去して欲しいのです」
Sumeragi: I can’t tell you how we acquired it... But I will share with you the information since we would like for you to leave this world.

ミサト
(これまたずばりね)
Misato: (There’s that frankness again.)

オルガ
「いい取引だが、この世界にいる間は
補給の手配もしてもらいてえな」
Orga: Sounds like a good deal, but I’d like to make some arrangements for resupplies while we’re in this world.

スメラギ
「構いません。
いかがでしょう、ブライト・ノア大佐?」
Sumeragi: That won’t be a problem. Is that agreeable, Captain Bright Noa?

ブライト
「いいだろう。籠絡されるより、
出て行けとはっきり言われる方が潔いからな」
Bright: Very much so. I most certainly prefer being told to leave outright as opposed to being sweet-talked.

シマ
「…そうですね、かえって信用できます」
Shima: ...Yes, I dare say it inspires trustworthiness more than anything.

スメラギ
「ご理解いただき、感謝します。
では、私達が得ているゲートの情報と
この世界の現況を説明しましょう…」
Sumeragi: I appreciate your understanding. Now, let me explain what we’ve learned about the Gates and the current state of this world...

活動していた扇グループを前身に、
ゼロが結成したレジスタンス組織。

Black Knights

From:		Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

A resistance organization operating in the Tokyo Settlement of Area 11.
It was established by Zero using Ohgi's group as foundation.


ザフト

登場作品    機動戦士ガンダムSEED

プラントに属する軍隊。通常の軍と異なり、兵士たち
は本国で別の仕事に就いており、階級は存在しない。
ザフトとは「Zodiac Alliance of
Freedom Treaty」の略である。

ZAFT

From:       Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

The military force belonging to the PLANTs. Unlike ordinary armies, the soldiers are classified by their place of origin and occupation, and there are no ranks.
ZAFT stands for “Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty”.
