  1. It was a building that she recognized, especially with her familial ties. The Blue Unicorn, a clinic operated by some of her relatives, in fact.
  2.
  3. Though it was not a place she ever desired to visit, especially given what it was normally utilized for. Treating the injured, and in a lot of cases being the final destination for those near-death.
  4.
  5. "Take a seat Kas, please."
  6.
  7. Her voice somewhat diminished in tone, as she gestured to the bed in front of her. Quickly glancing over the available supplies, before sighing.
  8.
  9. "T-This will be my first time treating someone.. ever."
  10.
  11. A student, though she was confident she could someday become a medical professional of some skill.
  12.
  13. "Just relax, if you can."
  14.
  15. Taking the opportunity to look over his injuries from top to bottom, before exhaling. Hoping that she'd get the process right, though Elys was there to guide her all the while.
  16.
  17. In case she were to mess up..
  18. (Eisele Metras)
  19.
  20. The irritation that he's felt from the loss was only amplified further with another.
  21.
  22. Admittedly, fighting another while injured was not the greatest idea.. or the fact that the strength of the two differed so much. Perhaps, all in due time, it would be different. But for now..
  23.
  24. He's led to the Blue Unicorn, if only to slowly approach the edge of the bed and take a seat.
  25.
  26. "--Yeah."
  27.
  28. A casual remark, all the while he complies with it. He stares outward, first at Eisele and then at Elys, and with a remark following through.
  29.
  30. ".. I ain't gonna lose next time. She already learned all the magic she wants.. but that ain't the case for me."
  31.
  32. Besides, the raw power also mattered. Though, evidently, he was rather sore about this still.
  33.
  34. "And, uh.."
  35.
  36. "Yeah. Do whatever."
  37. (Kasimir Dusan)
  38.
  39. Despite her feelings towards the matter as a whole, she did not see to chastise him, as it would only lead to friction. His heart had set upon claiming vengeance for his hurt pride, and even if she could not understand, she could at the very least respect it.
  40.
  41. For in a way, he also prevented the girl from lashing out at her, even if that wasn't on his mind at the moment.
  42.
  43. "Don't be so cold."
  44.
  45. A gentle prod, as she moved into position. They had spent some time together by now, and while she had many, many more questions, they could wait until after he was properly patched up.
  46.
  47. "I'll be gentle."
  48.
  49. A smile, a promise, a nod, as she set to work.
  50.
  51. First focused upon removing the shards of crystal which were imbued within his skin. Digits working in careful fashion, ensuring that they didn't damage his mana circuitry any further than was already done.
  52.
  53. Considering his circuitsensnared some of the crystals, she could only deftly maneuver tweezers to see them withdrawn safely. A process which took a great deal of time, but it was well worth it.
  54.
  55. Not to mention painful.
  56.
  57. "Sorry."
  58.
  59. Eisele had no desire to hurt him, but she couldn't make it any more pleasant either. As soon as the crystals were removed, she set to disinfecting the affected area.
  60.
  61. Utilizing a concoction of bandages, ointment, and cream alike to see the wound properly patched up altogether.
  62.
  63. "It will need time to heal, and... we shouldn't get into any more fights soon, if we can avoid it."
  64.
  65. If the last encounter was anything to go off of, however, it would not be easily done.
  66.
  67. His wounds bandaged, cleaned, and thoroughly disinfected. There would likely be no further issue, even if it was sore in the moment.
  68. (Eisele Metras)
  69.
  70. "..."
  71.
  72. "I ain't being cold."
  73.
  74. It is something that he simply discards at the moment, but perhaps his mind was buzzing too much with the recent defeat. Even then, he allows the treatment to occur, only quietly observing what's before him.
  75.
  76. A quiet hum passes his lips,
  77. curious a little bit.
  78.
  79. The treatment itself wasn't something that was terribly painful.. quite on the contrary, it was something that'd make him flinch occasionally, causing some discomfort- perhaps he was numbed some as the result of a leftover adrenaline still coursing through him, but..
  80.
  81. ".. I can't promise I ain't gonna get into any fights."
  82.
  83. "You know better."
  84.
  85. His lifestyle, his choices.. everything that he's ever been, and everything that he will be and become. He does not back off from such, and she was to be aware about it by now.
  86.
  87. At the very least, she'd know what might occur.
  88.
  89. "But, uh.."
  90.
  91. "Thanks. For treating me."
  92.
  93. It's something that had to be said, at the very least.
  94. (Kasimir Dusan)
  95.
  96. There was something about the Metras being able to actively show a systematic way of handling the procedure without getting anything dirty.
  97.
  98. And even though it did need some light touches here and there, from seeing how they were able to treat the patient and make sure that they were okay and comfortable throughout the operation, the only thing he would do is nod and smile with acceptance.
  99.
  100. "You did well," he pauses as he anaylzes the likes of the Wolf, and he would then turn over to the Metras.
  101.
  102. "Next time, however, you would want to wash your hands, and if applicable, wear some gloves to ensure that there will be no infections when you do the surgery in the future."
  103.
  104. Then he turned over tot he wolf boy as he lets that same smile reign forward. "And you need to stay inside these walls for a while and let your woudns heal.
  105.
  106. What's the point of a bounty hunter trying to live big if they are only going to get themselves killedand their money stolen?
  107.
  108. You have the heart of a warrior, but your need to balance it out with the brains of a scholar, Kasimir. When someone is strong in mind and in body, you will be able to ascend new heights and assure victory through any means necessary."
  109.
  110. But for now, he walks over toward the Metras, letting a hand rest upon their head.
  111.
  112. "Remember my words when I said that if you treat them well and help them, they will be the best ally and assist you through anything.
  113.
  114. So, be friendly, and make sure that he is ready to at least walk and eat on his own."
  115. (Elys akh Gardios)
  116.
  117. "Thank you, Stellus, I will take your advice into consideration and reflect appropriately within my next attempt at an operation."
  118.
  119. A nod at that, followed by a gentle smile, before her gaze returned back to Kasimir.
  120.
  121. "Though you've got him pegged right, he certainly has the spirit of a warrior. I, on the other hand, have studied quite a bit."
  122.
  123. Her affluent background saw to it that she was capable of having private tutors and lessons. Nothing but the finest education, in and out.
  124.
  125. But while she had the refinement of someone well educated, her practical skills lacked. Combat, survival- it all was foreign and unknown to her.
  126.
  127. Whereas Kasimir thrived in these fields.
  128.
  129. "I will be here to support him, don't worry."
  130.
  131. Eating, resting, and allowing his wounds to heal. But could he really be restrained to the bed?
  132.
  133. Probably not.
  134.
  135. "I do need to talk to him anyways, about.. some things."
  136.
  137. The occasion prior had been rather troublesome, and she'd get to the bottom of it one way or another.
  138. (Eisele Metras)
  139.
  140. "..."
  141.
  142. Scolded.
  143.
  144. For his ways, for his recklessness, and just how eager he is to go forward and find himself opposing someone, one way or another. Is it any wonder that he would constantly pursue this sort of action, that he would simply.. fail to stand still when it's right before him?
  145.
  146. The young wild heart is hard to tame.
  147.
  148. "--Fine."
  149.
  150. "I'll think of whatever it is I'm doing next time."
  151.
  152. At the very least, he could promise that much. Just how much he would adhere to it, and to what extent, it remains to be seen.. nonetheless, where the treatment was given to him already, it would most certainly take him a bit to recover still, but..
  153.
  154. His gaze travels between the two, soon to remark.
  155.
  156. "Ain't no way I'll be staying inside these walls. That's boring." Surely they could see why.
  157.
  158. "I'll be out and about, but uh... I'll be more careful."
  159.
  160. "Promise." Or at least, try to be careful.
  161.
  162. "But I think I feel better already."
  163.
  164. This medical treatment most definitely paid off - and considering that he wanted to learn it as well, observing how it happens was useful.
  165. (Kasimir Dusan)
  166.
  167.
