I need to build attention for myself, and I need to get practice and improve my art and skills. It's the only thing I have irl that gives me any real worth. Quite literally so. My office job shut down, and I have serious issues with my parents, to the point where I can't even go to Grad School, hundreds of miles away from them, without dragging all my emotional weight along for the ride as well. But that's fine, because they don't care at all. They already see me as a lost cause, a nest egg that went bad, an investment that they never really cared for in the first place, but still expected to care for them after I somehow succeed despite their constant mockery and putdowns. Lately, my only job is doing my ex-boss's homework, working as a janitor at my own mother's shop, and making art. I live in an environment of near-constant tension with my father, to the point that we can't even make eye contact unless it's during a confrontation. I'm stressed and tired and my body feels heavy, and I know full well that I'm going to die early because of this. That's not even some emo 'world is sorrow' crap...I've logically reasoned that I'm going to die early.

  96. So yeah, I understand what you mean, and I'm understand completely that you want to help me. And yes, I made the wrong move in dealing with other people. It's my fault that these situations online are causing me a lot of extra stress and worry, it's true. That's not a joke, I admit it. And yeah, I know that people are taking advantage of me...there's already a bunch of people on Skype right now who ONLY talk to me because I agreed to draw something for them. That's literally the whole point of the conversation, even if I try to change it to something else. But I'm learning, and I'm doing the best I can right now.

  98. And I apologize for talking down to you like that, Scoots. Looking back, I was upset that you were trying to tell me what I was doing wrong, like everyone else in my life. It made me feel like you thought yourself superior to me, like I was stupid and naive. Which...honestly, after reading that comparison you made to your dad earlier, I still can't help but feel that you think of me as naive and childish. Maybe you're right, though. If I were more mature, I suppose that I wouldn't still be chained to my dad like a well-beaten slave. So...I'll acknowledge that I don't know what to do. I guess I am a sheep, like Idun said a while back.

The very same things that give me my obsession with developing my art and skills because of how much I hate what's become of me at this age. You don't even realize how bad things were with me and my dad before my anger, frustration, and lonliness overtook my crippling fear. There were days where he would just stand over me and rant about everything that's wrong with me for 20-30 minutes straight without challenge. Last year, one-sided confrontations like that happened every couple of days. But yeah, I've burned out my motivation for talking tonight. I think I'm just going to get some sleep now and focus on drawing some more early tomorrow.
