In your group, make a list of everything necessary in order to cook a delicious pizza. (The ingredients as well as the steps you need to take.)

If you write these instructions in a paragraph or a list, how do you decide the order to write them?
- You list them in the order you need to do them. (First describe the things you have to do first.)

We call this “time order”.
(Remember, listing order is the order in a list, where it doesn’t matter what you do first.)

Now you have eaten your pizza. It was so good that you’re going to move to Italy to open your own pizza restaurant. Now you need to sell some things before you can move and start your new life.

yard sale = a sale of your own used possessions that you don’t want any more (usually in your front yard or garage)

What steps are necessary to have a successful yard sale?
- Make a good announcement with details about the sales.
- Skill at bargaining.
- Make a story about the things you want to sell.
- Identify what you want to sell.
- Clean the things you’ll sell.
- Decide how much you want to charge for each thing.
- Take valuable things to an antique store where you could get more money for them.
