- Arie taking distance from him, Arie would grab his staff, slowly a white lightning bolt appeared around his body, flowing around as he was getting ready...
- (Arie Hon)
- Ise cracks his neck from side to side, and spends about.. ten or fifteen minutes performing all sorts of stretches to limber himself up for combat--oblivious to the fact that he was indeed keeping his sparring partner waiting.
- Once finished, he drew his blade and assumed the Vritra stance as lightning began to churn around him. Before long the excessive amounts of electricity forced him into his half-shift.
- He bows with a fist pressed to an open palm.
- "Let's begin, then."
- (Ise Fusatada)
- Arie would continue to fight, exercing lightning on his foot, it would slowly come up to it, and spread around his body, taking care of minor wounds, healing slowly his stamina...
- He was really improving from what he saw, he could feel that in some time this one would really surpass him, with no time, even if he was still wounded he knew it...
- A ray of cosmic energy, dragging him away, gaining a decent opening.
- "Getting stronger, hope to see more..."
- (Arie Hon)
- Ise wiped the sweat from his brows. Sheesh.. he needed to remember his roots! He was being to aggressive with his swordsmanship, confusing his own footwork with the likes of the more primal Ifrit style. Mages were a pain in the butt to fight, especially with all of their fancy shmancy spellwork.
- Still.. even though he failed to gain the upper hand this time around, he felt his adrenaline pumping and the endorphins keeping him on his feet. Surely, however, he'd feel the bruises and scrapes in the morning.
- "Heh, well.. no time to rest! When we're out in a real fight, our opponents aren't gonna' give us any downtime. Again!"
- He yells with a smile, rushing right back into the fray.
- (Ise Fusatada)
- The use of holy lightning of the drakan still wasn't good enough, he needed to improve it, learn how to combine the two magics in a better shape... it still wasn't on the point to be said he had some mastery over it....
- The movements of the drakan were agile, but the fellow drakan was also on the same speed, two dragon's running around, clashing their attacks, the lightnign and the sword would collide from time to time, as the lightning spread around.
- Cosmic rained, difficulting the movement's of the other drakan, easily to hit with a piercing blow, holding back on the attack, it could be capable of wounding someone, he would just hold it a little, letting it slide...
- The blow was dealt on him stomach, throwing the attack impact up to gus shoulder's, not piercing him, as the impact throwed him away...
- A rush towards where the drakan was, a hand offered, triying to help him up.
- (Arie Hon)
- Ise fell onto his bum.
- Oomph.
- A frustrated expression plagued his visage. Sheesh, he was so damn close too! He had his opponent on the ropes the second time around, and the battle seemed real intense. The samurai was certainly enjoying himself. He could see the fruits of his training beginning to grow ripe, and before long he was confident that he'd be able to toss Arie a good one.
- Ise took his hand, smiling.
- "Sheesh, I was so close that second time around..! Good fight, though. Let's take a breather, yeah? Keepin' up with you is pretty exhaustin'.."
- (Ise Fusatada)
- A nod given to him, well, he wanted to know one thing now, the fight was quite easy to enjoy, a fellow member of his kin, he crossed his arms this time just looking at him...
- "So, everything with Edge was settled? Or you still hold something...?"
- (Arie Hon)
- "Huh? Oh, yeah. It's all sorted out I think. I spoke to the Commander about it. At any rate.. "
- Ise smirked, leaping back across from Aire. The young man started spinning his katana, quickly assuming the Vritra stance one more as lightning began to dance around his person.
- "Best two outta' there, yeah? You won the first skirmish.. let's see if you can do it twice in a row." He sticks his tongue out a bit, and then proceeds to bow with a fist pressed to an open palm.
- Gathering his composure, he readies himself for combat.
- (Ise Fusatada)
- If everything was settled it was good, worried about if he would hold any grudge against Edge, but if it was good, it was good, he would not say one thing about it.
- "Well, if you wish... I don't refuse a friendly spar, never."
- Unless he got better things to do, that was not the case this time, he would again hold his staff, waiting for Ise to do his moves...
- (Arie Hon)
- Ise stumbled back aross the ground, stabbing his blade into the earth in order to stop himself from completely fumbling onto his bum. The samurai smiled. Sweat was building at his temples and his face was red with exhaustion. He could feel the blood pumping beneath his veins, the quick succession of his heart beating against his chest.
- He was nearing his limit, but Arie was right. The samurai did still have some fight left in him. Ise withdrew his blade from the ground, twirled it and extended his palm over it. Lightning danced around the steel of the sword.
- Without hesitation, the Drakanite threw himself back into their little skirmish.
- (Ise Fusatada)
- Something.. changed in him!
- Ise felt his body growing more and more exhausted as the battle continued. His mana reserves were depleted and the capacity of his physical stamina was nearing its limit. As the fight ensued, he felt something inside of him. Or.. no, it wasn't inside of him at all. It was around him.
- He hadn't noticed it until then, but.. for a while, almost as soon as he started employing the use of raw mana via energy magic, he had been drawing a percentage of it's power from elsewhere.
- Where? He couldn't tell anyone, cuz' he didn't know himself. Whatever the cause, it helped him. Ise pushed himself beyond his natural limits, an almost translucent, barely visible miasma of energy encircling his body in addition to the lightning.
- He concluded the round by waving his hand, an electrified ring of energy binding Arie. As soon as he got him grounded the Drakanite flew across the field, lightning searing the ground as he flashed forwards, smashing the blunt side of his weapon into his back with a great deal of might--sending him flying!
- Ise panted, and looking down at his hands. He smiled.
- "That one.." He huffed. "That was close."
- (Ise Fusatada)
- Both of them were going to exaustion, the mana of the drakan was almost going out, the rune's on his chest and back started to shine on an yellowish glow, a glance at the sky, the light of the star he was searching.
- A strain on his body, the mana flowing and starting to replenish his forces, but not enough to birng him to 100%, it was decent, it was a great of help, thanks to the star...
- The yellow mana all over his body as it continued, enhancing it slowly, begin sent away with the blow, a claw formed on his hands, a blow on the ground, bringing the dust up... and making it hold his spot...
- A cosmic meteor formed on top of him, it was time to continue the fight, no word to be said at this momment, just the fight to show everything that had to be done.
- (Arie Hon)
- The white lightning and the cosmic energy followed the steps of the drakan, creating a strain on his body, the rune's continued to emit the glow of cosmic as they enhanced his proficiency.
- A meteor released at Ise, not enough to end it, Arie would hold his ground, triying to defend the blow's of the other drakan, slowly breaking his scales, a defense that could be broken, one wasn't good enough.
- The holy light spread around the arena, the faith, his beliefs begin put out, giving him some ground, and giving them a peaceful sensation, the calmness started at this momment, as it would ease them.
- A final blow on he, the technique he used the most, the lightning charged on his palm, comming from the horns and the tails, meeting right onto his palm...
- Finally, a rush towards Ise, the lightning charged, he expected Ise to block it, at least rising his scales to hold the blow, not going to hold not even a little, the lightning struck his chest, throwing it away...
- The cosmic mana faded from his body as Ise got knocked, after a momment, he would also fall, just looking at Ise, seeing if there would be another try... or it was really the end.
- (Arie Hon)
- Ise slammed onto the ground, groaning a bit as he extended both of his arms outwards. His grip around the hilt of his blade, however, was unfaltering. The younger Drakanite felt exhausted. Nothing hurt too bad yet, but within the next few days he'd be too sore to move around normally.
- Huffing, he raised a thumbs up towards Arie.
- "Sheesh.. that cosmic stuff sure is strong. An' those beams are especially annoying.. and the freakin' ones that follow you around too!" He smiles.
- "Still, you sure know how to put up a good one, Hon."
- The young man looked up at the sky. What was that power, earlier? What had he done to prompted assistance from some.. outside force? He knew it certainly wasn't coming from his own mana reserves. The swordsman wasn't the most competent of magi, after all.
- He raised his arm into the air, sword still in hand as he looked at his knuckles. It was definitely something worth investigating.
