June & Nyla vs Wildmutt

I don't think there are a huge number of factors in this fight, so I'll just go over the main points of contention and give my view.

Do I think Nyla will use the tongue? Yes.

Do I think Wildmutt can dodge the tongue? Yes.

Do I think he will? Not really, or at least, not at first, which is probably enough.

Is Nyla's durability feat better than Wildmutt's tackle? Yeah, I would say so, but Nyla also got dropped by that hit for a relevant time-frame.

Do I think Nyla's bite feat is better? Yeah, definitely. It's really good, actually.

Will Nyla bite? On command, maybe, but good luck proving that as combat behavior.

Do I think Wildmutt beats Nyla up close, provided he isn't hit by the tongue? Yeah, probably. He seems to keep a positional advantage in this kind of matchup (quadruped v quadruped) better than Nyla has in the past, even with June's direction. Even if Nyla has taken bigger hits or other shirshu have been stabbed before, it doesn't mean she wins, because I don't see Nyla being able to bite or claw Wildmutt from the full Nelson, and I think June is probably a nonfactor vis à vis Wildmutt.

That said, I do think Nyla wins by way of the tongue. If it came solely down to blows, I would prooooobably give it to Wildmutt, because even though he has a less potent piercing bite, it still probably works fine on Nyla and June both, and he seems generally able to fight that matchup better. It's still pretty close in that arena, though.

Thoughts on the picks themselves as they relate to Kengan Man:

Both of them probably get beat up some, Kengan Man is nutty fast compared to both of them.

WILDMUTT: Definitely has strengths, the tree hits are not bad dura. Might encounter arguments regarding the size of the trees. Good strength and mid-ish durability, speed pretty iffy but not horribly bad, just significantly worse than KM in an applied sense. Claws and teeth are probably a very useful tool to edge out other picks without piercing resistance. I would be careful about him mostly because the way he stays 1. Good and 2. In-Tier will be by arguing he can mog relevantly quick picks but Not Too Quick, and that might be difficult in some instances.

NYLA: She's definitely going to skirt OOT lines even with a pretty reasonable number on her tongue speed. The tier just isn't really built to keep her in it, I think. KM does hit hard and often, but he has to get in and stay alive, and the bite will fuck him up. Obviously the tongue is an instant win but it's also slow enough that KM will usually dodge it. If he chooses to deflect he loses, if he for whatever reason is unable to dodge he loses. Scaling her to arrow timers could be good but is also another reason she might find herself on the wrong side of OOT, I'd be super careful if you're set on her. June is also probably a nonfactor in relation to KM.
