Maybe he is avoiding updates, we can never be sure. I agree the updates are becoming more and more minor, but that may just be ha55ii not wanting to do a lot of work at once. SR could simply have become a dead game like Irritation Stickman or Powder Game 1 (not implying there will be a sequel, but maybe), despite that "super-castle" at the end of the map. He may have even ran out of ideas.
By your own logic, Pg2 also falls into that "possible evasion" range, although less extreme than SR. It hasn't been updated in a while, either.
To summarize, he's (probably) not updating games with increasingly minor updates, but instead becoming bored of updating entirely, which explains the lack of large updates. SR is on version 14.7, so that means he's updated it around 137 times. Don't you think that could get boring to update? (once again, not implying that he's avoiding SR, but all games on DB for that reason).

Well, it's mostly they hate every new game because SR (and sometimes Pg2) aren't being updated :/
