Burning blood

Leonidas love training, he loved it as much as he loved battle and his wife.

He loved the burning sensation that spread throughout his body as it moved and roared with exertion, the beautiful feeling of flesh striking against flesh and the molten fire that bubbled in his veins when he pushed himself.

And as he thrust his spear and swung his shield right at his opponent's chest, he grinned.

As his spear was parried in the same smooth motion that allowed his opponent to dodge his shield and ram their own against his chest, he laughed.

As he braced himself stopping him opponent from him pushing back any further, he roared.

His blood burned, his muscles tensed and he pushed back with great force, sending his opponent falling back.

Seeing this he grinned and held his hand out, eager to get his opponent to his feet

and to continue his training.
