  1. As Leon was entering Tilandre, he was expecting to meet a friend. Just to make a little trade, perhaps. But instead he sees an injured man, on his way east. Leon was going to ignore him, but then he remembered how Diablos had helped him when he was injured.
  2.
  3. "What may be the problem, sir?" Leon asked with a tone of worry. Hopefully he had not been through hell, like Leon himself. If that was the problem, Leon wouldn't have known what to do.
  4.
  5. Maybe it all a show to trick me into something. Or maybe he is really injured, I really want to help.. but at this day and age, you really can't trust people... What do I do?!
  6.
  7. Leon grabbed the hilt of his sword to be prepared for any launched attack, when he did approach the injured. Leon didn't want to fight, but if this person took something from Leon, or injured him, then he will.
  8. (Leon Lukino)
  9. A voice, and it wasn't that of a mimic. It turned him around, revealing tested lavender eyes unto Leon. Typically, one could careless for another individual such as this, for they held nothing of interest for him. Of course, this one decided to pick him out for his wounds- Something that irritated him when it didn't mean immediate medical attention, or restate the obvious.
  10.
  11. "...Is that a real question?" He asked,
  12.
  13. It felt contradicting that such a question was asked whilst one's hand was already set on their blade. One would usually take up their sights for the nearby guards, however Vriskol lacked such temptation.
  14. The grasp upon the blade was an open-invitation, a taunt of sorts, beckoning encroachment in a less than friendly matter.
  15.
  16. " . . . " He fell silent, gaze shifting for the worst. A lick of maroon relfected in his pupils, and his left arm, apparently more-able than his right reached out for Leon, as though to command halt from his figure.
  17. "Seems you want a problem, traveler."
  18. The furrowed brows never faltered his everlasting gaze, complemented by the sway in his stand. It was as though the festering drive to lunge was imminent, yet still held up for consideration for the moment.
  19.
  20. Attention to his person could allow for the sheer essence of his person to radiate for the surroundings about. No, this was not occultism... This was something else. The outright hostility and passive aggressiveness in his attitude?
  21. This was depravity bubbling beneath the surface, on the verge of bursting into the form of action.
  22. (Vriskol Malpercius)
  23. Leon noticed how the injured boy had seen Leon get a hold of the hilt of his sword. To be honest, it was just a habit of Leon's. Leon had trusted too many people that let him down, and brought him to despair. At some points, Leon wanted to stop. Wanted to stop fighting, and he wanted, sometimes, to disappear. The world he lived in was tainted with evil, it was just a week ago that Leon felt that evil.
  24.
  25. "No no no..." Leon said, making sure that the stranger wasn't hostile, "Not looking for any trouble. Just a stance of defense if you try anything funny. You understand right?" Leon said in hopes that Vriskol had at least a bit intelligence.
  26.
  27. Vriskol must know that this world is practically a living hell. Spirits dwell upon them, haunting them, until they fulfill their resolve. Sometimes Leon thought about. How spirits just disappear, as if they had never been there before. He was about to get lost in his train of thought before he remembered he had this person in front of him, in desperate need of help, or so it looked.
  28.
  29. "You must know by now that this isn't a normal world, right? You have seen the spirits that dwell upon us, right? Well, if you think that I trust anyone in this hellish place, then you are sadly mistaken." Leon said, staring into Vriskol's eyes.
  30.
  31. Now that Leon got a look at Vriskol, he noticed that he hadn't wore a weapon upon his back. His eyes were a slight lavender color, and his hair resembled that of a flower he once gave his mother... Dead mother. He looked experienced, as if he had seen the depths of this world. He looked around the age of sixteen.
  32.
  33. Dammit, I can't figure this guy out, it's just so strange... His appearance. He looks so... Emotionless. Well, I don't know. I really can't describe him. All I know is that I have to stay on guard. This guy really gives off a strange presence.
  34.
  35. Leon then extended his left hand, and attempted to shake Vriskol's hand, hopefully he would extend his own. Leon didn't want to give of the wrong vibe, so he had to play his cards right. He tried to be the upmost friendliest he could be.
  36.
  37. "Oh, and my name... Is Leon!" He said with a chuckle, but it was then he thought that the boy before him was injured, "You can tell me later who you are, but first you need help.."
  38. (Leon Lukino)
  39. Leon extended his arm out for Vriskol, sending a shiver down his spine. The whispers in his voice incremented in volume, eyes locked unto the hand reached out for a handshake. It was a tantalizing sensation, which resulted in an awkward repliance.
  40. The heavily bandaged right arm twitched some, finger cringing prior to rising. Even though it was obviously the wrong arm, it lurged for the extended hand with haste.
  41.
  42. The voices in one's head were practically screaming from within Vriskol's skull as of now, controlling his actions to an absolute degree. The act of friendliness would be repaid with the art...
  43.
  44. ...Of Sacrifice.
  45.
  46. It would appear as nothing more than an awkward handshake, but indeed it would be more than that. The fingers curled tightly around the offered palm, refusing to give in so easily.
  47. On contact, an illumination as true as sanguine tainted the crevices of their hands, shimmering in a maroon highlight upon his reflective lavender pupils, cold and relentless in their gaze.
  48.
  49. Vitality and mana alike found themselves coursing from the man's body, and directed into the Malpercian's arm. This was, the Malpercian's curse...
  50. The bandaged arm seemed to swell in the midst of said action, bulging out towards the bicept region and tearing at it's ashen covers. Albeit, Leon's condition would commence a plunge in terms of energy and livelihood, he was more than likely capable of breaking the magi's grip for a clear retaliation.
  51.
  52. Impulse, was a weakness the Malpercian had yet to control...
  53. Said impulse, proved to be more than simple occultistic draining. This was... Something else, entirely.
  54. (Vriskol Malpercius)
  55. Leon noticed something strange about the boy, and he was right. That life was being drained out of Leon and it going 'bout it quickly. Leon whipped his hand away, and he was successful, he would grab his sword, and aim it at the boy's throat.
  56.
  57. "Dare to do that again, and I will cut your guts open and feed them to you," Leon said with a slight chuckle and an evil smirk, "Or would you rather prefer me experimenting on your dead limbless body?"
  58.
  59. Hopefully this intimidated the boy, because Leon hadn't felt so good, he was beginning to regain a feeling that he had felt before. Pain. And Leon hated to feel pain. Hopefully the boy would back up and explain why he did that, or something bad would happen to him.
  60. (Leon Lukino)
