  1. Bradshaw
  2. For the pup, it was all too exciting to know that he'd seen and tasted real conflict, and survived at the very least to tell the tale. But soon it was evident that she was moving closer to him, and those heightened senses could easily make out the subtle sweetness of her skin as she presented her neck to him. All the while he spent those moments deep in thought, coming to terms with what she said, how she spoke, when she found offense and found himself reaching upward slowly to bring his hand to her shoulder. " You, and your Brother are a lot alike " he said finally " I don't know, if he told you but he was murdered here in the Empire, and forced into the change " He closed his eyes a moment before he continued " Don't worry, your scrawny ass couldn't make me do anything " He offered it in the most mirthful of ways, but he couldn't be sure if she'd take it that way, nonetheless he could feel for the moment that his words would hardly mean anything if anything. He would only give her ammunition to use at a later date. Either way, task at hand it seemed was to take the offering of her blood. adding in just before he finally chose to lean down. " Dog house is pretty nice, I've slept in it " Which brought to mind the humor in knowing that for the longest time the twins merely thought of him as their faithful hound and not Cael's god son. Drawing in a deep breath of that lovely scent, the Canine extended his...well canines and leaned down, stopping just before her neck and staring for a moment " This feels oddly wrong.." He said finally bringing his focus up to her. " If we're being honest here, I'd make a horrible vampire. The moment you put blood to my lips I'm going to lap at it like a dog. " His fingers raised upward tilting her neck forward" And I'm going to have to listen to you bitch for hours about me licking you.." He snorted some before leaning down to let his canines dig into her flesh, (Weakly of course) Leave it to Bradshaw to make an already uncomfortable situation more uncomfortable with shite jokes. Regardless of this, he did pretty much what he said he would, his tongue found the wounds made by his teeth. Oddly enough, he found himself rather enjoying the sweetness, as it ran over his tongue. Eventually drawing back with a somewhat wanton growl.

  4. Adelaide
  5. :Ѻ: Adelaide wasn't proud to be a crepuscular creature, but it had its benefits. She suspected Cael felt much the same, given his chilly demeanor. He hadn't always been that way, but things had changed while they were separated and she couldn't fault him for that. Her own cheerful countenance was a mask for years before she accepted things as they were. The weight of Bradshaw's hand fell to her shoulder, warm and a bit tacky with blood and she turned her head in the direction of his voice, smiling weakly. "We haven't had a chance to talk about any of that, but I thought as much might be true." she didn't offer any background information, but the mental image of Cael as a happy, vibrant child was a vivid enough memory for her. She knew it wasn't what either of them would have wanted. Trying to bounce back a bit of humor to defuse the awkward change of pace, the hell hound challenged her size and she rose a brow in speculation. She let him think that. It was always nice to have surprise on her side when it wasn't expected. Anyway, it would be horribly unladylike to dish out a severe ass-kicking just to prove a point. As fun as it might be, she had a reputation to uphold. "I bet it smells awful." she replied with ease as her head tilted to one side. The waifish vampire was comfortable with what she was, and was practical enough to understand that this needed to be done. It didn't need to be awkward. Of course, things with Bradshaw just couldn't be smooth. He paused, lips just a breath from her neck, and she sighed at him. "The only thing wrong about it is your prattling." she warned, "You're giving me plenty of time to reconsider. You know, things would go a lot more smoothly without having to worry about--ah, yes." she curled her toes in her shoes, eyes slipping closed as she inhaled sharply. Despite not needing to breathe, it was a lingering human reaction for her, tacked onto her habits for good. Her skin broke easily enough under his teeth, and while he hesitantly sipped from her, she laughed against his tounge. "You don't have to be so gentle. You're not going to hurt me." she teased. The hand on his jaw curled around the nape of his neck. Fingertips gently coiling into the curled ends of his hair and offering a gentle squeeze as he drank. Adelaide turned her cheek to his forehead and closed her eyes, resting it there quietly until he finished. He was warm, and despite being covered in dead blood and smelling like a wet dog, something about the vulnerability of the moment softened her icy little heart. When pulled away and growled, she stifled the internal response by reaching out to touch his chest, waiting for the wounds to heal. With high expectations for turn around time, she might have anticipated it working faster than it did in reality. Concern touched her features as she scanned her palm over his chest and up to his neck to feel for the bite wounds. "How are you feeling?" she asked. "Is it...working?" Self-doubt lingered in her tenor, sure that (among many other things) she'd done it wrong. :Ѻ:
