Back in close range, the Uchiha is cut, but he doesn't do anything about it, instead, with his two free arms he simply flicks his wrists, and two, several inch blades eject from his sleeves. As Kabu strikes him, Osake aims to plunge these once concealed blades deep into the neck of the man, swiftly ripping out to result in a terrible spray of crimson.*)

Kabu's decision to run head-on into a flamethrower will not end up well, and he certainly won't be in a great condition that'll allow him to easily cleave his weapon through Osake and so on with ease.

The salamander summon was heavily injured, its fog eaten up by the flame. As it was swallowing Osake's foot, one if his feet are severely burned by his own technique. Osake then turns his head to Kabu, firing the flamethrower at him.

Kabu's endurance will allow him to perservere, but not being as physically capable as previously.

He pumped his dominant arm to impale him, given that his hands would no longer be functional and throw him to the floor again, blow for blow, as it was.
