[06:19:32] [Lilith] It's not very busy, but Lil is sitting in a rather grassy area next to some trees, managing something on her tablet.

[06:20:25] [Lilith] A short distance away, a Heracross is chasing a troublemaking Gible. Seems Dedekind has since acquired a pair of biker's shades.
[06:21:20] [Chase] He watches the shenanigans for a moment, stares at the Torterra once he realizes what it is, but approaches, regardless. He pats the giant thing gently when he gets near enough. "Hey, good afternoon."
[06:22:08] [Lilith] "Hey, Chase. Uh, this is just minor work at the moment, so all this can wait for a bit. Just maintenance and tweaking projections." She waves her tablet as if to indicate.
[06:22:28] [Lilith] "I -think- those two are new to you, but I'm not sure if you've met all of the buddies yet."
[06:22:56] [Lilith] "Dedekind, Gauss, Lovelace, Weierstrass, Hilbert, and Lt. Bonerfart," she counts off, noting the last one with a straight face.
[06:24:01] [Chase] He nods. "Yeah. I-"
[06:24:08] [Chase] "Wait, wha?"
[06:24:22] [Chase] "Not 'Bonaparte'?"
[06:24:31] [Lilith] "That's the thing!"
[06:25:15] [Lilith] "The Lieutenant was a gift from the others. Shawyun was keen enough to catch on that everyone's named after mathematicians."
[06:25:59] [Lilith] "At the time, there was a Unovan military officer who was famous for his announcement that he had proven that P did not equal NP....but his Quagsire ate his proof."
[06:26:32] * Chase crosses his arms, listening.
[06:26:36] [Lilith] "But Lt. Rene Bonaparte contributed enough of his notes to make his claim probable."
[06:26:57] [Lilith] "So Shawyun pre-registered that name....and misheard it completely."
[06:27:05] [Lilith] "So the Lieutenant is legally stuck with it."

[06:27:51] [Chase] "I guess it's not the only name he's cocked up." he jokes. He sits on the grass rather than climb up on the Torterra.

[06:28:49] [Lilith] "And I don't think you've met Hilbert, but, uh...."
[06:29:04] [Lilith] "He's special. Doesn't like to be bothered except when ladies are involved."

[06:33:18] [Chase] "I've tried to vary up my team a bit... got Haydn, a Timburr. Elise, she's a buneary. Brahms, he's that first FOE we faced, fire type Golbat now. Sibelius... he's a kadabra. Schubert, an Aron, and Strauss, a tympole..."
[06:33:32] [Chase] "Actually, is it alright if I go ahead and let them out? I think they'll play nice."
[06:33:46] [Lilith] "Sure! They love playmates."
[06:33:54] * Chase lets out his pokemon.
[06:33:59] [Lilith] "It's actually a lot harder to do things like tutoring -without- playmates."
[06:34:58] [Lilith] Dedekind eventually makes it over to the sandy part of the park, where he immediately digs underground, carving a path.
[06:35:10] [Chase] Haydn stretches out and plops next to Chase, while Elise hides behind him as well. In fact, a lot of Chase's team stays nearby at first, until he politely shoos them to go play instead of being lazies and timids.
[06:35:33] [Lilith] "So, aside from books, what brings you here?"
[06:35:44] [Chase] "Well, actually... two things really."
[06:36:06] [Chase] "I was actually looking for some advice about Scarlet... and the other thing was, well."
[06:37:04] [Chase] "Alright, one of the main reasons I came here in person was actually to see how you were doing. You had me worried after that whole thing at the beach, and none of us really had a good night at the Crabby Krabby I think."

[06:37:32] [Lilith] "Well, the Crabby Krabby wasn't -so- bad."

"But given a little time, maybe I can get some sort of special egg for Scarlet. Considering I'm not just going to give her Brahms, maybe it'll work out."

[06:56:35] [Lilith] Weierstrass has completely lost track of Ded, and just kinda tromps back over to the Lieutenant. Chase spots the scar Dedekind is leaving in the sand, and it intersects with another similar one at its ends.
[06:56:56] [Lilith] Both Ded and a Diglett rise up out of the ground, mildly annoyed at the collision.
[06:56:57] [Chase] "Are you trying to make me wax scarlet? ...Naw, that's a pun but it don't quite work, does it. Damn, I'm not so good at this."

I got good enough in a hobby that I made a small career out of it, before unexpectedly finding myself tangled up in all this. I want to be known 'round the region one day. But you know what the funny thing is?"
[07:27:57] [Chase] "I don't necessarily see myself reaching that point playing music. In fact, I don't think I will. I love my guitar, and my band, and the hobby. But I don't see myself staying in this gig forever."
