  1. ===Lego Pone Saves the Day====
  2. On the streets of Manehatten, a giant pony was on the prowl. Her every stepped cracked the fragile asphalt beneath her. A growing crowd of fleeing ponies snaked their way down the streets. Those who were near enough ran for the side alleys. This always gave their pursuer a mad glint in her eye. She would throw her foreleg out extra far to either side, stomping just in front of them. The ones who didn’t return to the relative safety of the crowd would get hit by her hoof as it dragged across the ground. Pegasi were able to flee easily, though she swatted and snapped to see if she could catch a few. As for the unicorns and earth ponies, they had to continue down the street, dodging abandoned carts whose owners left in a panic.

  4. She wondered how long it be before one of them would try to run under her belly and brave her hind hooves. For now many of them were blind with terror. She enjoyed pausing whenever she got too close to her victims, waiting just a moment to bump the facade of an apartment with her flanks or drag a hoof across a storefront sign. Her tremendous stride always let her catch up again almost immediately. Even if they did escape, they wouldn’t be safe for long. Looking across the skyline she could see others in the distance. This was the day of the big ponies.
  5.
  6. The thing she loved most was smashing carriages left behind. The fancier the better. Golden trim, a fancy hat that fell off from one of the occupants as they ran into a building. The carriage hitch ripped apart by a panicked earth pony’s strength. She saw the glint of one in particular. She imagined it might have belonged to the mayor.

  8. Most ponies who saw the runners approaching, followed by the massive mare, were smart enough to duck into buildings or side roads, but there was always one or two who were just dumb enough to let themselves get swept up into the frenzy. This time, an odd straggler stuck out to her as she stomped her way down the street.
  9.
  10. The massive mare eyed a colt, staring in shock at her direction from further down the street. All the other ponies had turned and fled, but there he was. Where were his parents? Did they really leave him behind? The crowd ran past him but still he remained, frozen in place, legs locked. She stopped, grinning across the scene. The poor little colt opened and clothed his mouth, unable to find any words as he stood, trembling in fear. As the looming pony walked closer, she heard a muffled rustling inside the cart. Her smile widened. Someone was hiding inside.
  11.
  12. She wanted to test the colt. Pushing the fancy cart his way so it stopped just bumping the edge of the curb, she lined the shadow of a forehoof over the cart and pushed down.
  13.
  14. She leered down at a horrified colt, his peaceful walk to the candy store long forgotten. The colorful siding of the cart snapped as timber broke and wheel spokes gave, slumping the cart to one side. The huge mare let it break with agonizing slowness. The frame contorted as much as it could before it the pressure bowed it outwards. The door hinge broke open and the glass windows cracked before shattering in long, sharp chunks. She continued to compress it before it was just a color pile of mashed scrap wood on the street. Her hoof twisted back and forth over the remnants her smug grin of victory warped and twisted.
  15.
  16. The massive pony savored the feeling of the pieces ticking the underside of her hoof. She wondered if the colt would faint or wet himself first. She lazily pressed down on the ruined cart just a little bit further and paused, curiously. There was something unyielding in there. It was tougher than the rest of the cart. Somewhat boxy. She hoped it was a treasure chest or something precious like that.
  17.
  18. It wouldn’t last. She raised her foreleg back up before her hoof plummeted back down, putting her weight on it. Pain shot up the massive mare’s leg.

  22. She yowled and recoiled, breaking a decoratively placed tree in half with a careless rear hoof. Something stirred from under the mashed wood of the cart. Now it was her turn to look shocked. What appeared was decorated in red. What emerged was not a normal pony. It was not some noble pony in a cart. It was something all monsterhorses feared. The monstermare gasped loudly. Nearby, other big ponies froze in the middle of their atrocities, looking up in confusion. They zeroed in on the tiny figure emerging from the shattered carriage. It was a mare dressed in a red, studded rectangle. The one of the big ponies who was close enough to see down the street screamed and ran instantly while others were glued to their spots. Everyone knew the danger this newcomer posed to anyone who dared to walk carelessly. In their nightmares she was Lego Pone, Brick Born!
