1 Hour Challenge Season 5 Announcement

Welcome to Season 5 of the 1 Hour Challenge Open Bracket. 1 Hour Challenge is a game mode utilizing the points hint system in order to achieve the highest score obtainable within 1 Hour. Thanks to the hard work of many developers and playtesters, 1 Hour is now as unique as it has ever been, with it now having its own generator and GoA mod.

Since we have a lot of newcomers into the community, I think it's best to reiterate some things about the format for previous seasons of 1 Hour Challenge. This season of 1 Hour Challenge will be a double elimination open bracket taking place December 27th to January 7th. This means anyone can participate, and unlike most blitz tournament formats, everyone will get to race at least twice. The seeding for the bracket is determined by your results in previous tournaments. If this is your first tournament, you will be randomly seeded among other people who have not been seeded before at the bottom seeds. There will be a $325 prize pool: 1st place gets $160, 2nd place gets $100, and 3rd place gets $60. If we break 24 entrants, the prize pool will be increased to $500, where 1st place gets $200, 2nd place gets $150, 3rd place gets $100, and 4th place gets $50.

New to this season is the Fresh Face Incentive Bounty. The highest placing entrant that has not placed in Top 16 of any past 1 Hour Challenge bracket, Boss Hunter bracket (non-co-op), and any other Critical tournament bracket will have the opportunity to earn $50. If there are ties, a runoff race for the prize will be held. Huge thank you to roromaniac8 for contributing to this prize.

This tournament will not affect eligibility for the Fresh Faces 2 tournament hosted in January.

As much as the tournament as possible will be restreamed. All matches in Top 8 will be guaranteed restreamed.

New to this season is that 1 Hour Challenge now has its own GoA and seed generator. This is because there are many new exciting, unique features that are not present in the current main randomizer seedgen.
The changes are as follows:
	- An updated boss blacklist to help even further prevent crashing and softlocks
	- Grim Reaper II, Storm Rider, Hydra, Jafar, and Shadow Stalker are now replaced by Leon, Yuffie, Tifa, Cloud, and Hercules.
		- With this change, Beast and Oogie Boogie are the only non-randomized bosses in the pool.
	- This is the debut of Objective Rando. Jiminy's Journal (or opening the objectives.txt file in the seed) will have a list of objectives and how many points you get per objective.
		- As of the time of this announcement, objectives are NOT autotracked by DA's tracker.
		- If you complete 5 out of 7 of these objectives, the center computer in the GoA will open up the door to final fights, just like it would if you used the Promise Charm and had the 3 proofs.
	-  The building and engine autoscrollers in final fights have been removed. You will now drop straight into the engine core Nobody fight when going to final fights.
	- The portals to Twilight Town and Simulated Twilight Town are now hidden until you find the Ice Cream and Picture, respectively. When interacting with these portals, they will now take you straight to the Data fight of that world. For example, if you find the Ice Cream, and interact with the door where Twilight Town used to be, you will now go into the Data Axel arena.
	- The orb that dropped drive orbs in the Cavern of Remembrance is now in 100 Acre Wood, and you can use forms in 100 Acre Wood. This is to make Master leveling less tedious
