  1. >"Right this way, Mister Anonymous."
  2. "No need for formalities. Just Anonymous, or Anon, is fine."
  3. >"You might as well get used to it Sir, we of the Royal Guard are to be strictly formal at all times while on duty."
  4. "Alright then, I guess that's not a bad thing."
  5. >As the Celestial guard raises a hoof across his chest and bows his head, you pass by him through the large double doors next to him.
  6. >These doors, like most around the castle, were mostly made of marble, with various designs and patterns carved in them, slotted with various gems, and sporting what looked like a mahogany trim.
  7. >The room beyond the doors, also like most of the castle, was mostly fine-crafted out of marble. Floors, walls, ceilings, pillars, all of it. These Princesses really liked their marble.
  8. >The opposite wall of the room from where you entered is more window than it is wall. Also littered with transparent decoration and designs, it seems to overlook a large part of Canterlot.
  9. >The centerpiece of the room was a gigantic dining table. This was surprisingly not made from marble, but what looked like granite.
  10. >Because you know, a giant granite table totally doesn't clash with anything in a room made from marble.
  11. >But whatever, it still looked nice, so it wasn't something you were about to complain about.
  12. >A couple large chandelier's that look as though they are made from thousands of shards of diamond took residence hanging above the table, their round form holding many lit candles.
  13.
  14. >Along the center of the table are a few extravagant vases overflowing with all sorts of exotic flowers in perfect shape.
  15. >Many fine wooden p0ny-shaped chairs lined the table on either side.
  16. >Honestly, you expected ridiculously large thrones to sit at either end of the table, but that's not the case.
  17. >Because they were both behind the table from where you stand, at the center. Both Celestia and Luna are seated upon them.
  18. >One seat in the center of the table on your side seems to be set for dinner, as are the Princesses' spots. Large plate, smaller plate, and various utensils on either side.
  19. >"Welcome Anonymous, please take a seat," Celestia offers with a warm smile as you enter the room, the large double doors closing behind you.
  20. >Without hesitation, you walk forward and take your position at the center of the table across from the Princesses
  21. "So. This seems like a bit much, don't ya think?"
  22. >"A bit much? What do you mean by that?" Celestia asks
  23. "This room, it seems like it's meant only for the most esteemed guests and royalty, not someone like me."
  24. >"Well, you are an esteemed guest Anonymous, you're more important around here than you think. Besides, we weren't using the room anyway."
  25. "Hmm, fair enough I guess- wait, why am I so important all of the sudden?"
  26. >Here it comes. You can feel it in your bones, she's going to mention something ridiculous about Twilight's destiny or some shit again.
  27.
  28. >"As you are aware, Twilight Sparkle is my most faithful and gifted student. She is very important to all of us, and we must do all we can to help her out along the way and keep her happy. Anonymous, you make her very happy, thus you are doing a huge favor for all of us. Therefore, you are important. Does this make sense?"
  29. >Well. Not entirely what you expected, but close enough. In fact, this is better than what you expected. And it does make sense... you think.
  30. "Sure, at least it makes more sense than some other things you've told me." you finish, letting out a light chuckle afterward
  31. >Celestia suppresses a faint giggle before taking a sip of what you assume to be tea.
  32. >"So, were you able to take a look into the archives at all?"
  33. "Nah, not yet. Studying books isn't really my strong point. I'm sure Twilight would be ecstatic for the opportunity though, would it be okay for us to borrow some of those books after she gets back?"
  34. >"Hmm, I don't see why not."
  35. "What's all in that archive anyway? Why do you think it might pertain to me?"
  36. >"The specific archive I mentioned was dedicated to Starswirl The Bearded, one of the most wise and powerful unicorns to ever live. He created countless spells and magical implements, essentially paving the way for unicorn society in the centuries to follow. He also dealt with other species from time to time, so his research spans all sorts of subjects. There's bound to be something useful in there regarding your situation."
  37.
  38. >One of the most wise and powerful unicorns to ever live huh? That would explain why Twilight was obsessed with dressing up as him for Nightmare Night. Among other things...
  39. "I see."
  40. >You seem to remember Celestia- or maybe it was Luna... No matter- mentioning that Twilight was likely the most gifted and powerful unicorn alive right now. Wonder if there's any connection?
  41. "You don't think Twilight and Starswirl are related, do you?"
  42. >Celestia and Luna look at each other for a moment before shifting their focus back to you. Luna is the one to respond.
  43. >"We suppose it is possible, though we have not bothered to find out."
  44. >"That would be something else wouldn't it?" Celestia chimes in, "Our Twilight Sparkle, descendant of the great Starswirl The Bearded."
  45. >Celestia looks toward the ceiling and seems to ponder this for a moment
  46. >"Perhaps we should follow up on that when she gets back."
  47. >"Sister, we're not sure that information would benefit anyp0ny at all," Luna objects, "It would likely be too much trouble."
  48. >"Yes, I suppose that's true. Anonymous, why did you have to bring that up? Now I won't stop thinking about it!"
  49. >Celestia looks aggravated, even though she's laughing at herself.
  50. >You can't help but chuckle at that yourself. Honestly though, it was an interesting thought, but you're probably better off not worrying about it now.
  51. >There were more important matters at hand, such as this mission that Twilight and the rest of the Elements went on.
  52.
  53. >Also, you wouldn't mind knowing more of the past between these two Princesses with Discord and Eris.
  54. >When Luna was possessed by Nightmare Moon, she mentioned the word daughter, and it sure seemed like she meant Eris.
  55. >Needless to say, that's a very disturbing thought. It leaves you very curious as to what their lives were like back then, as well as how different Discord and Eris may have been, not to mention Equestria as a whole.
  56. >But that may just be a lengthy history lesson for another time. In reality, none of that seems terribly important anymore.
  57. >After all, Discord and Eris are sealed away, and Nightmare Moon is gone again as well. As long as this past doesn't affect either of them again, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
  58. >That's not to say you wouldn't like to know anyway. You'll likely be here for the rest of your life, might as well take in a little history. Especially if it's involving the Princesses, and something like this has got to mostly be a well-kept secret.
  59. >"Anonymous?" Celestia's voice breaks you from your train of thought.
  60. "Yeah?"
  61. >"Dinner is served, sir." A p0ny dressed in a white suit says as he places a plate on the table in front of you and proceeds to leave.
  62. >What the- no. There's no way. It's a fucking steak. A FULL STEAK! Medium-rare, by the looks of it. Perfect.
  63. "Wha- A steak!? But how?"
  64.
  65. >"We understand your kind enjoys meat," Celestia answers, "This isn't an easy thing to get in Equestria as you may know, but it does exist. Most p0nies prefer to avoid any kind of meats, but there are some that enjoy it as a delicacy. I do hope you enjoy it."
  66. >The look, the smell- this right here was a thing of beauty, as if it's just overflowing with juicy flavor.
  67. >Sure enough, the first bite sent you straight to heaven.
  68. >The expression on your face must be priceless, because Celestia and Luna are both giggling at your reaction.
  69. >But you don't care. Oh no, this is something you've been without for far too long. You're not even a huge fan of steak, but in a world like this, there's no way you could pass it up.
  70. >About half way through destroying this masterpiece of cuisine, you begin to wonder...
  71. >Why would they go through all this trouble for you? Bringing you a steak like this which is obviously quite the rarity in these parts, feeding you some story about how important you are...
  72. "Celestia, Luna." you say blankly as you wipe your mouth with a napkin and place your fork and knife on the table, "Is there a reason you're buttering me up like this?"
  73. >They both look on with rather confused looks on their faces
  74. >"Buttering you up?" Luna inquires
  75. "I'm sorry, it just seems like you're going way out of your way for this. I don't know if you're doing it to try and ease my mind from that mission you sent Twilight and our friends on or what, but you're starting to worry me."
  76.
  77. >"Please Anonymous, think nothing of it. Consider this our thanks for everything you've done for Equestria, for us, and especially for Twilight. It's very rare that my sister and I get an opportunity like this either, to relax and get to know somep- somebody such as yourself. Let's enjoy it while we can, shall we?"
  78. >Of course she would come up with a response like that, typical Celestia. She gives you a perfectly reasonable explanation while at the same time all but confirming your suspicions.
  79. >"To answer your question Anonymous," Luna steps in, "We are not specifically doing this to keep your mind off of Twilight Sparkle's task. Though admittedly it is a positive side-effect."
  80. >Well, that was unexpected, but good enough.
  81. "Fair enough. Is there anything more you can tell me about this task of hers though?"
  82. >After you ask, you decide to resume devouring your delicious steak. Celestia and Luna share a glance once again before turning back to you.
  83. >"Twilight Sparkle and your friends, the remaining Elements of Harmony, have been sent to the Crystal Empire to restore it to its former glory and banish an ancient evil once and for all."
  84. "Former glory? I'm curious why I haven't heard of this Crystal Empire before, it definitely sounds like something that would stand out in a world like this."
  85. >"Indeed it did. You see, the Empire has been gone for a thousand years. It only recently re-appeared within the last couple days."
  86. "Wait, what?"
  87.
  88. >How the fuck does an entire 'empire' just disappear for a thousand years? This is weird.
  89. >"A thousand years ago, the Crystal Empire was taken over by its evil King, Sombra. He enslaved the entire populace and threatened to take over all of Equestria. It became way out of hand, so Luna and I had to step in and banish him. We succeeded, however Sombra placed a curse on the entire Empire, essentially taking it down with him. Every last part of the Empire was lost in an instant."
  90. "So, just like that, everything had just vanished into thin air without a trace and it was all over?"
  91. >"That's right. It had been so long since then however that we almost forgot it was a thousand-year curse. Luckily we had began preparations for this in the past by sending Twilight Sparkle to P0nyville to discover the magic of friendship, and in the process, the Elements of Harmony."
  92. "Wait, why would you need the Elements of Harmony now? Why couldn't you two just deal with this like you did before?"
  93. >"Honestly, it's entirely possible we could. However the Elements used to be a part of us, believe it or not. Unfortunately they had... separated from us not long after that incident. But that's a story for another time. They had been lost since then. We knew they could be rediscovered under the proper circumstances, and thankfully, those circumstances showed themselves to us."
  94. "Okay, I think I follow what you're saying."
  95.
  96. >"Good. Not only are the Elements of Harmony a better weapon to use against Sombra then the two of us, it gives us the perfect chance to strengthen the bond that the Elements already share. Not to mention, it's the perfect opportunity to put Twilight through her first real trial."
  97. "First real trial huh? I bet you don't want to elaborate on that at all now do you?" you ask in a somewhat sarcastic tone
  98. >Celestia smiles and giggles. Whelp, there's your answer.
  99. "Is there anything at all you can tell me? Do you actually have even the slightest idea as to what she's going to go through out there?"
  100. >"We are familiar enough with his abilities and common tricks to have a good enough idea," Luna interjects
  101. "Oh, well, that's reassuring..." you respond, again in a sarcastic tone
  102. >"Anonymous," Celestia starts, "Try not to worry about it, just leave this to us okay? Now, how about a change in subject, hm?"
  103. >Really? She wanted you to just try and ignore it all?
  104. >Hmm... Honestly, it was a good idea. They're going to be gone for a day or two, there's no sense in sitting here worrying about it the whole time.
  105. "Alright, I'll try, but I can't make any promises."
  106. >"We're glad to hear it. Now then- I don't believe you ever told us the story about how you ended up in Equestria to begin with."
  107. >She was right. You had mentioned a few specific things here and there, but it wasn't something you enjoyed talking about.
  108.
  109. >Your life on Earth was fairly average, nothing terrible or extravagant, but looking back at everything you lost still hurt.
  110. >Perhaps they deserve to know. But you'll be getting them back for this, for sure. They have a secret past with the god of chaos, and you're going to get all the details. Maybe not tonight, but soon.
  111. >Your rather amazing dinner is finished before long as you recall the basics of how you ended up in Equestria.
  112. >It's a good thing that it's a short story, because time seemed to be running out.
  113. >That time of the evening had come where Celestia would finish lowering the sun and retire for the night, while Luna would raise the moon and begin her royal duties.
  114. >As for you, well, you didn't really do much after that. With the Princesses occupied, and every other p0ny you knew around here off on their mission, there wasn't much for you to do.
  115. >The Princesses had given you a royal suite in the Castle to use until Twilight and the others got back.
  116. >Sure you could just teleport back home until then, but this place is way too nice to pass up. Besides, being back in P0nyville during all this would probably just make things worse for you.
  117. >You're starting to get tired, but not enough to let you easily pass out yet.
  118. >So in that case, why not practice something new?
  119. >From what you've managed to do so far, it seemed like the possibilities of your magic were endless. Of course it had to have its limits, but you've yet to really discover them.
  120.
  121. >Unsurprisingly, the most prominent thing on your mind right now was Twilight. You were still worried about her, and yet you weren't even sure if their train had made it to this Crystal Empire yet.
  122. >Ugh, there's no way you could focus on some new magic trick with this on your mind. Unless...
  123. >Maybe there's a way you could use your magic to see really far away? You can already teleport pretty damn far, so why shouldn't you be able to just see instead?
  124. >For a good half-an-hour, you sit in your temporary royal bedroom trying to focus your magic. You're considering the teleportation spell, but focusing the magic in front of your eyes instead of around your entire being.
  125. >It feels like you're on the right track, but you're not getting anywhere.
  126. >Hmm, maybe now's a good time to check the archives? There's bound to be all sorts of spell books in there.
  127. >The focus of magic for so long as drained much of your remaining energy, but you're now determined to figure this out. So, off you go to the Canterlot Archives in search of a spell.
  128. >As you approach the archives, you are greeted by a male earth p0ny with a brown coat and slightly darker brown mane and tail.
  129. >"Greetings, Mister- Anonymous, is it?"
  130. "That's right."
  131. >"Ah, very good. My name is Time Turner and I am one of the caretakers of these archives, is there anything I might help you find on this fine evening?"
  132. "Oh, uhh- actually, yes. I'm going to assume there's a good deal of spell books in here, am I right?"
  133.
  134. >"Oh yes, definitely. They are typically only available to privileged unicorns, but I've been instructed by Princess Celestia to give you access to anything you desire!"
  135. "Well isn't that nice?" you say with a chuckle, "I don't know if you'd have any idea, but I'm actually just looking for a specific spell; one that would allow somebody to see a great distance away."
  136. >"Hmm..." he ponders as he brings a hoof to his chin, "Ah, yes, I seem to recall something like that, come with me."
  137. >Well hey, what do ya know? This guy isn't even a unicorn, yet he may possibly know which specific book this spell would be in.
  138. >Good thing too, you really didn't want to have to search through a ton of books. Then again, who knows what other useful spells you could find?
  139. >Honestly, why haven't you done this sooner? Maybe you'll have to spend your day tomorrow going through some of this stuff.
  140. >Time Turner leads you into a locked wing of the archives and stops in front of a specific shelf.
  141. >It looks as though most if not all of the books here are spell books of various kinds.
  142. >"Ah, here we are. Intermediate Practical Spells, Volume 3. Let me just take a look here.
  143. >He grabs the book off the shelf with a hoof somehow and lays it on a nearby table, opening up to the table of contents.
  144. >Scanning the page for a few seconds, he seems to catch something and starts flipping pages.
  145.
  146. >"Sight Beyond Sight, a spell that allows the caster to temporarily see great distances, depending on their magical ability. How does that sound?"
  147. "Perfect. I'll take it from here if you don't mind, and thanks a lot."
  148. >"No need to thank me Mister Anonymous, it's what I'm here for after all. Do let me know if you need anything else!"
  149. >You wave an arm as Time Turner leaves the room.
  150. >Countless minutes pass by as you focus entirely on reading and understanding the spell.
  151. >Turns out you had the right idea before, you just weren't quite doing it right.
  152. >Once again, you begin to focus your magic in a similar manner as before. Only this time, you're making progress.
  153. >When you're confident you have the first stage of the spell down, you have to focus on your destination. That of course being Twilight.
  154. >She is really far away by now, but that hasn't sopped your teleporting, so you don't foresee any real issues with this either.
  155. >It takes a little longer than usual, but by attempting to find Twilight with your usual teleport method, you finally get a signal and connect it with your spell.
  156. >Sure enough, a small rift appears to open right before your eyes. It's hazy, and it looks really dark on the other side.
  157. >You attempt to channel some more magic into the spell, and the image clears up a little bit.
  158. >Though it's still dark, you can make out what seems to be the inside of a trains' sleeper car.
  159. >It's a sizable room with six small beds arranged as three bunk-beds.
  160.
  161. >Rarity and Fluttershy share one bunk, both neatly tucked into their blankets and sleeping soundly.
  162. >Rainbow Dash and Applejack share another bunk; AJ sprawled out across her bed with a leg dangling off the side, and Rainbow was sleeping on her belly, legs stretched out forward and back.
  163. >Twilight and Pinkie shared the last bunk; Pinkie was sleeping on her back with her legs spread out in every direction, exposing herself to the world and sporting a stupid-looking grin on her face. Twilight was curled up into a ball with Spike, sleeping peacefully.
  164. >Now this is a sight you could get used to, cute didn't begin to explain it. In fact, you really wish you had a camera right now.
  165. >But oh well. Seeing this has put your mind at ease. At least tonight you can go to sleep and not have to worry about them, because they haven't even made it there yet.
  166. >You heard that it was pretty far away, but you never did ask how far, or how long it would take for them to get there.
  167. >Honestly, you would have much rather preferred to just teleport them all there. Then again, you've never seen the place, so that probably wouldn't have worked anyway.
  168. >With your mind at ease, you replace the book back to its spot on the shelf and leave the archive back to your royal suite.
  169. >Taking so much time with that spell had really drained all of the remaining energy from you.
  170. >Very shortly after collapsing onto the amazingly comfortable bed, you drift to sleep.
  171.
  172. -----
  173.
  174. >Today is the day. Celestia had told you that Twilight and her friends were successful and would be returning to Canterlot at any time.
  175. >A new stained-glass mural was already erected in the grand hallway that held the others. It depicted your six friends, along with Cadence and Shining Armor, defeating some dark, oddly colored unicorn, with the backdrop being what you suspected was the Crystal Empire.
  176. >It was beautiful. You were proud of them for completing their task, not to mention super anxious to have Twilight back here safe and sound.
  177. >Celestia had ordered you to remain in the castle with her until they arrived, and soon enough, they did.
  178. >You were anxious, excited. Celestia on the other hand, had a determined look on her face. Not happy or calm like usual, oh no. She was serious about something, and you weren't liking it.
  179. >Celestia sat upon her throne in the throne room, you standing at her side, as the doors opened. The six p0ines, along with Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, and Spike all come in.
  180. >Just as you're about to begin moving toward them, Celestia holds a hoof out in front of you, motioning for you to remain where you are. She doesn't look at you, keeping her gaze on the group marching in the room.
  181. >Okay, this is getting weird. Something isn't right here.
  182. >The group of p0nies line up in front of the throne and bow before Celestia.
  183.
  184. >"Welcome back my little p0nies," Celestia starts in an unusual non-cheerful tone, "You have all done an exceptional job. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, you are both dismissed."
  185. >The two bow once again before turning and exiting the room.
  186. >"Elements of Harmony, you are dismissed for the day, though you are to remain in Canterlot and await further orders."
  187. >Every p0ny except Twilight bow again and leave the room.
  188. >You have absolutely no idea what to think at this point. It's really starting to freak you out, and normally you would butt-in by now but you're not sure Celestia would like that.
  189. >"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student. You have passed your trial, and far exceeded my expectations. As you already know, I am going to be speeding up your training and presenting new trials to you, starting this evening. You know what must be done, Twilight. Get a little more rest and prepare for your next test. Dismissed."
  190. >"Yes Princess," Twilight responds in a somewhat monotone voice
  191. >Twilight bows before her Princess and begins walking back out of the room.
  192. >Okay, now you know something is wrong. Not only has she not said anything to you, she hasn't even taken a fucking glance at you.
  193. >Again, you begin to take a step forward, but Celestia throws a hoof in front of you, trying to get you to remain by her side.
  194. >You push her hoof out of the way and give her a sharp glare, which she returns right back at you.
  195.
  196. >With a casual wave to the Princess, you teleport yourself in front of Twilight. You see Celestia behind her, still glaring at you, but doing nothing to stop you.
  197. "Uh, hey Twilight," you say as you kneel down in front of her, "Aren't you gonna say anything to me?"
  198. >"Oh, hi Anon. Sorry, Princess Celestia likes these things to be very direct and formal."
  199. >She still doesn't seem happy to see you. At all.
  200. >Regardless, you snatch her up into your arms and hold her close to you, her head now resting over your shoulder next to yours.
  201. "I missed you Twi," you begin to whisper to her, "and I'm really proud of you and your friends for doing what you did."
  202. >"Yeah, yeah..." she says with no enthusiasm whatsoever.
  203. >Okay, you're seriously worried right now.
  204. "Twilight?" you say as you hold her out in front of you and set her down, "Are you okay? What's wrong?"
  205. >"Oh, nothing's wrong Anon. Things just- changed, is all. Princess Celestia has plans for me now, and needs me to focus 100% on her trials from now on until I discover my destiny."
  206. >Okay, hold the phone. She did NOT just say the word destiny!
  207. "Wait, what? She actually told you that!?"
  208. >"Mmhmm. Now, if you'll excuse me Anon, I have a lot of work to do."
  209. "Wha- excuse me? I'm sorry if I sound a little aggravated Twi, but did you completely forget about me while you were gone? Did you forget about US?"
  210.
  211. >"Us? Oh... Like I said, Celestia needs my complete focus on my trials ahead. My training will one day soon affect all of Equestria. Nothing else matters now."
  212. >What the... she can't be serious...
  213. >Nothing else matters? Not even you? She can't be saying this right now!
  214. "Twilight... what are you saying?"
  215. >"I'm sorry Anon, I have to go."
  216. >She stands up and walks around you toward the door, Spike following beside her. You remain motionless on your knees.
  217. >What... the hell is happening? Is she breaking it off, just like that? And just because the Princess is obsessed over some destiny?
  218. >No, this isn't right. Twilight would never do that! Well... at least, she would never leave you in order to pursue this, right?
  219. >Oh, god... your heart is in so much pain right now, it's hard to think straight...
  220. >Something just isn't right though. Twilight, Celestia, all of them. Everybody was acting in a way in which you've never seen before.
  221. >To be honest, this sounds like something Discord could be responsible for, but you know he's still sealed away.
  222. >Perhaps... it was that King Sombra? Maybe he won and is controlling them all?
  223. >Hmm, no, that doesn't seem right...
  224. >Struggling to stand up, you turn around to get another look at Twilight through your now tear-filled eyes.
  225. >Just beyond the doors, she seemed to be speaking with Luna.
  226. >They were walking out of sight. Wait a minute...
  227.
  228. >You only noticed it for a split second as they were walking away, but Luna seemed to be looking directly at you.
  229. >And her eyes... something about her eyes was off. WAY off. They looked as though they were glowing.
  230. >That's... no, it can't be... Nightmare Moon didn't have glowing yellow eyes like that, did she?
  231. >Hmm, not that you can remember. That was a frightening sight though, that's for sure.
  232. >Your train of thought is interrupted as you hear the sound of hooves along the floor behind you.
  233. >Turning around, you see Celestia walking toward you, still glaring.
  234. "Celestia? Wh- what are you doing?" you manage to stutter as she approaches, before clearing your throat and letting your emotions overtake you, "And do you mind telling me what the FUCK is going on!?"
  235. >"Anonymous," she starts in a stern tone before stopping her approach, "I don't like it when my subjects raise their voice at me."
  236. "Your subjects!? I'm an alien to you, and the sole reason your faithful student is doing as well as she is with all this right now. So you know what? I don't like it when you treat me like trash, like you are right now!"
  237. >"Like trash? Anonymous, have I not done enough for you in your time here? I allowed you to live as you please in my society, I even allow you to have an inter-species relationship with my best student, the most powerful unicorn alive. You seemed to be so happy before, why the hate now?"
  238.
  239. >She's totally fucking toying with you right now. There is something legitimately evil within her.
  240. "Look, I appreciate what you've done, but this right here is bull shit. You expect me to believe that Twilight is just going to dump me off, just like that, to pursue this destiny you keep babbling about? She is madly in love with me, there's no way it would go down like this. You're up to something here and I'd like to know what."
  241. >"Are you sure I'm the one who's up to something?" she asks with a smirk, as she shifts her eyes to look at something behind you and quickly shifts them back.
  242. >You turn around as fast as you can, but only manage to catch the faintest hint of something that was kind of a dark blue color leaving your field of view within the hallway outside the room.
  243. >...Luna?
  244. >"Look, Anonymous," Celestia begins as you turn back around to her, "I do apologize for this, but it was bound to happen. There is nothing I can do now."
  245. "Sure, whatever you say. I, however, am going to go to Twilight and straighten this shit out right now."
  246. >"Oh, you think so, do you?" she asks sarcastically, with an almost evil-looking grin plastered on her face.
  247. >Yeah, you've had enough of this shit. Your heart aches like it's never ached before and you're fucking MAD.
  248. "Yeah, I do." you respond as you turn around and begin walking away.
  249. >Your wang goes erect as you begin to conjure your magic and prepare for teleportation, when Celestia appears before you.
  250.
  251. >"You're not going anywhere Anonymous. This is no longer any of your business. Return to P0nyville and get on with your life, or-"
  252. "I have a better idea, Princess," you interrupt, putting an angry emphasis on her title, "How about you go outside and play a nice game of Hide and go FUCK yourself?"
  253. >She flinches back slightly when you scream the word 'fuck' at her, but otherwise she doesn't get out of your way.
  254. >Celestia gives you a deep glare, and it really looks like she doesn't want you to go anywhere near Twilight.
  255. "Celestia, you cannot stop me from seeing the p0ny I love."
  256. >Her response is simply her continued glare, as she seems to be peering deeper into your very soul, her eyes never leaving yours for a moment.
  257. "I mean it, you've seriously pissed me off. I don't want to hurt you but I will if I have to."
  258. >Her glare almost seems to lighten a bit after saying that, but she refuses to let you go.
  259. >"Listen to your ruler, Anonymous." she says in a deep tone.
  260. >Okay, that's it.
  261. >You begin to conjure up a large amount of magic, your entire form soon enveloped in a violet aura.
  262. "Last chance Celestia!" you shout as you raise an arm out toward her.
  263. >Her horn begins to glow and soon you feel yourself being constricted. It's difficult to move or clearly focus your energy, but you're still making progress.
  264. >She strengthens her magic, trying desperately to keep you from doing anything.
  265. >Wrong move Princess.
  266.
  267. >As your rage skyrockets, you unleash a hurricane of energy out from all around you, causing Celestia to withdraw her magic and back away.
  268. >A look of fear forms upon her face as she darts out of the room.
  269. >The energy you're unleashing would make Vegeta proud, and is causing a great deal of damage to Celestias' throne room.
  270. >Unfortunately, you can't seem to control your energy output. Or anything else for that matter.
  271. >Your blind rage has truly unleashed a monster here, so it seems.
  272. >Surprisingly, you manage to hear a gasp come from the doorway.
  273. >The surprises continue when you realize you have full control of yourself again.
  274. >Your screaming rage fit has now subsided, your magic flying freely around the room and slowly dissipating.
  275. >Wait a minute... you're not in the thone room anymore.
  276. >What the hell? Why are you in bed? This... no. No fucking way this was just a dream.
  277. >"Sister, go back to bed!" you hear a muffled voice from outside your bedroom door.
  278. >A moment later, the doors fly open and Luna rushes in.
  279. >"Anonymous, are you alright? What was with the screaming?"
  280. >She seems legitimately scared.
  281. "I... I don't know..."
  282. >That's all you could say at the moment as you take a look around the room.
  283. >There's some light damage to the walls, floor and ceiling, as well as a few tears in your blankets, but not much. You must have released some of that magic here before you woke up.
  284. "I guess I just had a bad dream?"
  285. >"A bad dream caused this?"
  286.
  287. "Uh- No, no, there was no way that was just a dream. It was WAY too real. I mean, everybody was acting different, but... everything felt so real, and I remember every last second of it..."
  288. >"Oh, I see, you had one of 'those' dreams. I am sorry Anonymous, those are not fun."
  289. "Wait, you know about this? How the hell is it even possible for something like this to happen? I mean, look what I did to this room in my sleep!"
  290. >"Yes, I know. This is something that can occasionally happen to unicorns, or especially beings with great magical power, such as Alicorns like myself, or even you. Uncontrolled magic, along with deep uneasy feelings or emotions toward something, can sometimes lead to things such as this."
  291. "Uncontrolled magic, uneasy feelings or emotions... I don't know about the magic, maybe I don't have as much control over it as I thought, but contrary to what you thought after our dinner last night, I checked into something that really put my mind at ease. I doubt that's the cause of this."
  292. >"Oh? And what did you do then?"
  293. "I checked into the Archives and found a spell that allowed me to see great distances away. I was able to see Twilight and the others, resting peacefully on the train. They hadn't even arrived yet. With that, I was able to sleep last night not having to worry about them being in any kind of trouble yet."
  294.
  295. >"That is good to hear, though I would advise against using that again to check in on them. As big sister and I said before, you must remain here and not interfere with their task. Checking on them like that could possibly make things worse for you. If you saw them in a potentially dangerous situation-"
  296. "Yeah yeah, I get your point Luna. I'll try not to use it anymore..."
  297. >"Thank you Anonymous. So... do you mind telling me what happened in this dream of yours?"
  298. "Uhh... I kinda do actually, but..." you pause as you bring a hand across your face to remove any remaining tears, "It was horrible, Luna. I felt the pain of heart-break again, only this time it was much worse. Twilight had left me to pursue her destiny, and Celestia looked like she wanted to kill me the entire time. It... hurt... A lot..."
  299. >"Anonymous, I... I am sorry, I shouldn't have asked."
  300. "No, it's okay... It was just a- dream, right?"
  301. >"Yes, that it was. Everything is okay with Twilight and your friends. I assure you everything will be just fine, and she definitely will not be leaving you. But you should know that better than I do, Anonymous. You can't go believing something like now can you?"
  302. "You're right..."
  303. >Luna smiles as you let out a sigh of relief. If you could even call it relief. You were still emotionally scarred by this, it would take some time to get over.
  304. >"Well, if you'll excuse me, I must get back to my duties. It won't be long before my Moon and I must retire for the day."
  305.
  306. "Of course. Thank you for coming in here Luna, I'm glad you were nearby. Who knows what I would have done otherwise, heh."
  307. >Luna lets out a light chuckle before giving you a bow and leaving your room.
  308. >Well. There's no way you're getting back to sleep now. This was... just too insane, too real...
  309. >You still felt pretty drained from all of this, you must have let out more magic than you thought. Or you're just still recovering from the spell you did last night.
  310. >Either way, it was the perfect time for you to just sit back and relax in your comfy bed, where you'd have all morning to think to yourself.
