Important info that should be known about the game (Metaware High School (Demo)):

It has five main characters: Chris (She/Her), Aspen (They/Them), Isadora(She/Her), Nari (She/Her), Hope (She/Her).
Each character has a twitter account, but most of them are run by fans. The Hope one isn't. The Hope twitter account ( https://twitter.com/metamochigurl ) is run by the creator of the game, Ahmaykmewsic (  https://twitter.com/Ahmaykmewsik )
The game is a free visual novel (available in Steam and itch) made in Ren'py. It's about you interacting with girls who know they are in a game, but don't know everything about it. Like for example, what happens after the ending arrives. The files were meant to be unencrypted and looked through.

Twitter hope tweeted this: https://twitter.com/metamochigurl/status/1319139237397209088?s=20 several times, and it mentions demoscript_mochi.rpy (which is an encrypted file on the game, to get access to it use some program like rpaExtract. You'll find the files under the "game" folder, data.rpa contains the script itself), on said demoscript_mochi.rpy file we found weird code-like stuff commented out:

If we change it from hex to text, we get the following:

If we grab the 4th line ( Mcyc kkCp kog ) and decode it using a caesar cipher with the shift on -2/24, we get ``Kawa iiAn ime``

c2 i3 a2 h1 n1 looks like hex, but translating it leads to actual gibberish, so we think each letter stands for a character (c is chris, i is isadora, a is aspen, h is hope, n is nari). We have no idea what the numbers mean.

"The magic of the internet" is Imgur's motto, and "/a/pdYgorS" is the link to an imgur album:

On this image we can see:
- Pastebin's logo in the background
- Aspen's hair
- A bunch of dots
- Two octagons, one inside the other

Judging by the pastebin logo, we can deduce that we're looking for a pastebin URL.
The dots can be translated as binary, with 0 being the small dots and 1 being the big ones. If we do that, we get

Junko Enoshima's favorite mochi is Espresso mochi.

Toko Fukawa's favorite mochi is Kusa mochi.

Yasuhiro Hagakure's favorite mochi is Isobeyaki mochi.

Kyoko Kirigiri's favorite mochi is Thai tea mochi.

Celestia Ludenberg's favorite mochi is Kagami mochi.

Monokuma's favorite mochi is Apple miso caramel mochi.

Makoto Naegi's favorite mochi is Sakura mochi.

The characters are all Danganronpa 1 characters, but apart from that they have nothing else in common.
Danganronpa 1's release date is Aspen's birthday, so there might be a connection to Aspen. Also of note is that the names of each kind of mochi might be spelling "EKITKASUN", but what that means is unknown
