- Description: Akinmurele strangled Marjorie in her home. Akinmurele set fire to Dorothy’s home, killing her. Akinmurele set fire to Jemmimah’s home, killing her. Akinmurele strangled Joan to death, before attacking Eric with a homemade cosh, before leaving him for dead. Eric recovered and tackled Akinmurele, causing him to drop the cosh, before strangling Eric to death. Fingerprints left at the scene tied him to the murder. He confessed to the other murders in a suicide note before he hanged himself in prison August 28, 1999.
