- Samurai: A fighter that foregoes their shield in favour of utilizing more weapons in combat. Samurai are diverse fighters that utilize different stances to take on a different play style, but typically focus more on damaging enemies and forcing them off their allies.
- Level 1
- Martial Stance: A Samurai relies on different stances for combat. They may spend one free action transitioning into a different stance. While in their base stance, they can never be caught flat footed.
- Quick Draw: The Samurai may quickly unsheath their weapon for a quick strike, allowing for them to attack on the same turn as drawing their weapon.
- Level 2
- Tiger Stance: An aggressive stance that emphasizes quickly rushing down a single target with powerful strikes. While in the tiger stance, you gain an additional +5 movement speed towards the target you attack, stacking up to +15 bonus movement speed.
- Tiger's Fang: While in the Tiger stance, you may make make a swift and sudden cleave, gaining a +2 bonus on the attack and always striking before your opponent does. If you fail to critically strike, you may follow up with a second attack, even if you miss. (CD: 5)
- Level 3
- Ocean Stance: A stationary stance that emphasizes sweeping strikes at the cost of movement. While in Ocean Stance, you cannot move, and are completely stationary. However, your attacks can potentially cleave through up to one additional target.
- Crashing Wave: While in Ocean Stance, you may sheath your weapon and break the stance, sweeping for a nonlethal strike at the nearest target. Your attack potentially knocks the enemy prone, stunning them for one round. Crashing wave switches into another stance of your choice. (CD: 6)
- Level 4
- Serpent's Stance: A stance that relies on fluid movement and sudden strikes. The Samurai is very fluid and agile while in this stance, and may move past an enemy without provoking any attacks of opportunity. Whenever the Samurai attacks, they may also move 5 feet in any direction of their foe.
- Serpent's Bite: The Samurai dashes forwards to plunge their blade into their foe. If the Samurai critically strikes, they may follow up with a second attack (that may also critically strike) (CD: 5)
- Level 5
- Dragon's Hide: The Samurai may make attack rolls against projectile attacks; even magic. Should they succeed, they cut through the projectile(but don't deflect it).
- Dragon's Fury: A Samurai may make a single strike towards an enemy attack, making an opposing check. Should the Samurai deflect their attack, they gain a bonus to their next attack on that target, equal to the difference of the successful deflection. A critical strike has a chance to break the enemy's weapon. (CD: 6)
