  1.
  2. 0. IMPORT {HANDWASH} from 'basic-food-prep'; hands.wash();
  3. 1. Using your eyes, locate the each of the following required things.
  4. a. A butter knife - When you see this, state "I see the butter knife"
  5. b. A bag of bread with multiple bread slices in it - When you see this, state "I see the bag of bread"
  6. c. The jar of jelly - - When you see this, state "jar of jelly"
  7. d. The jar of peanut butter - When you see this, state "I see the jar of peanut butter"
  8. 2. If you did not see any of the above things, abort. Otherwise, locate a "suitable working space"
  9. 3. If you did not find a "suitable workspace", abort. Otherwise, move each "thing" listed above to the "suitable workspace".
  10. 4. Inspect the bread bag. If you see a retention device on the bag, state "I see the retention device." If the retention device is present, remove the retention device. (Note: this is generalized since there are multiple types of retention devices. I would allow this).
  11. 5. Using your hands, remove two slices of bread from the bag of bread. Place each slice on the suitable workspace with the face of the bread facing toward the ceiling. If the removed bread slices are stacked, unstack them and place each side by side with the face of the slices facing the ceiling. Label the first piece removed as 'bread piece one' and the second piece as 'bread piece two'.
  12. 6. Locate the jelly. Remove the lid of the jelly from the jar by holding the lid with your right hand, and the jar with your left. Holding the jar in your left hand, tightly grip the lid with your right hand. Turn your right hand while gripping such that your thumb on your right hand moves toward your body. If you were able to remove the lid, proceed to the next step. Otherwise state 'I cannot remove the lid from the jelly.' and abort.
  13. 7. Locate the peanut butter. Remove the lid of the peanut butter from the jar by holding the lid with your right hand, and the jar with your left. Holding the jar in your left hand, tightly grip the lid with your right hand. Turn your right hand while gripping such that your thumb on your right hand moves toward your body. If you were able to remove the lid, proceed to the next step. Otherwise state 'I cannot remove the lid from the peanut butter.' and abort.
  14. 8. Locate the butter knife. Using your right hand, grip the handle of the butter knife such that the straight edge of the blade is on the right and the rounded side is on the left when a flat part is facing the ceiling. This area is known as the spreading surface of the butter knife.
  15. 9. Dip the spreading surface of the butter knife into the opened jelly jar. Use a scooping motion to gather jelly onto the spreading surface of the butter knife. Remove the butter knife such that the jelly remains on the spreading surface of the butter knife.
  16. 10. Move the jelly ladden butter knife to bread piece one. Spread the jelly evenly across the surface of bread piece one.
  17. 11. Dip the spreading surface of the butter knife into the opened peanut butter jar. Use a scooping motion to gather peanut butter onto the spreading surface of the butter knife. Remove the butter knife such that the peanut butter remains on the spreading surface of the butter knife.
  18. 12. Move the jelly ladden butter knife to bread piece two. Spread the jelly evenly across the surface of bread piece two.
  19. 13. Place the butter knife down in an unoccupied area of the 'suitable workspace'.
  20. 14. Using your right hand, scoop up bread piece two such that peanut butter side is facing toward the ceiling.
  21. 15. Using your left hand, scoop up bread piece one such that the jelly side is facing toward the ceiling.
  22. 16. Quickly, move your hands together such that each covered bread face is joined to the other in such a fashion as to minimize uncovered bread faces.
