  2. * Conspiracy 1 & 2 - move to after prologue of book 2, 15th hunts Hakram’s attempted assassins in Ater, Take place before leaving praes, they leave praes in chapter 3
  3. * Red Skies, Beast, Regard, Reign - flashbacks for each of the calamities, move to end of book 2
  4. * Crowned - flashback to Cordelia before joining Procer civil war
  5. * Usurpation, flashback of Kairos before he becomes Tyrant, move to after chapter 7
  6. * Warden I - follow up to Crowned, one year after Cordelia joining war
  7. * Warden II - possibly move to after warden 1
  8. * Raid - no move, robber perspective
  9. * Deadhand - move up to between chaper 20/21, set in Laure after thief meeting before kendall appointment
  10. * Closure - Alaya talks with defeated Tasia in Wolof, move to after 32 for no interruption
  11. * Dues - flashback chapter for Thief, mentions Laure recruitment, move to after Calamity 3​
  12. * Background - Woe down time, takes place during march south to dormer, i think this takes place before chapter 39, but might occur during some marching day concurrent with chapter 39
  13. * Fletched - fine as is, Archer flashback to Ranger freeing Indrani from slavery in Mercantis, alternativey before book 3 chapter 16 or after extra background.
  14. * Prodigy - flashback to masego at 9 becoming apprentice, good placement as is before chapter 55, alternatively before book 3 chapter 16 or after extra background.
  15. * Hierarchy - technically before 49 as it’s mentioned Heirarch has been elected, but ending makes since as right before epilogue, not after since Heirarch shows up in epilogue
  16. * Court I, 2, 3 - Thief exposes conspiracy by radicals within Regals, Robber and Hakram talking about potential goblin rebellion in Praes, chronologically takes place between books 3 and 4, but mentions terms introduced in book 4 chapter 2. Leave court 1 as is, move up court 2 and 3.
  17. * Prosecution 1 and 2 are origin flashbacks for the White Knight, read anytime after appearance, perhaps right before interlude calamity 1
  18. * Fatalism I - chronologically happens before chapter 36 book 4, but probably should be read right after for context on why is important, cordelia dealing with declaration of catherine being arch heretic of the east
  19. * Fatalism II - after F1
  20. * Fatalism III - probably right after F2, Conclave still hasn’t happened so suggests after F2, but Black and King of the Dead situation is rehashed as if it hadn’t been presented to Cordelia yet in Interlude: Empires, also Reveals Saints of Swords is against Procer
  21. * Ye Mighty - concurrent with Chapter 67, move to right before Chapter 68
  22. * Peregrine I to 4 - Grey Pilgrim flashback, note first one is not correctly linked when doing “next chapter”, all four together, can be read anytime, personally read before Pilgrim reappears in Book 5, Chapter 26
  23. * Inexorable - fine where is, dead king attacking Otto in north
  24. * Peers - amadeus and grey pilgrim chat before soul ripped out, move sometime before chapter 26
  25. * Miraculous - keter begins to retreat, move to after pilgrim resurrection
  26. * Seed I & 2 - flashback, black and alaya discuss praes grain and plan to rebel, move to after book 5 chapter 54
  27. * Winter I to 4 - flashback to keter battles, takes place between book 4/5, definitely before interlude congregation 2 when rozala leaves cleves
  28. * Kingfisher I/II- flashback to Frederic, chose to read before interlude truce
  29. * Charlatan I to 4 - roland flashbacks, chose to read before book 5, ch 27
  30. * Five Stories - flashback origin stories for Painted Knife, Poisoner, Relentless Magistrate, Grizzled Fantassin, and Royal Conjurer. Ends with band getting assigned mission by White Knight and Black Queen, presumably the go to Levant so would take place between book 5 and 6. First appear book 6 chapter 35, move right before?

  32. * Disjunction - move to beginning of book 6? After peace council in Salia
  33. * Colossal I & II - flashback to antigone, put at when gigantes join alliance
  34. * Grand - leave where it is
  35. * Beatification I & II - Saint origin with Ranger. Potentially move to before Saint dies, or move where convenient in book 7
  36. * Refuge I & II - Refuge origin stories. Leave 1 where is
