Titus is back

CovetCovet : Felix was sitting at the counter, getting down on some chilli cheese fries while they waited. // Benji had been looking at the text messages between him and the seller of an adult male Rhodesian Ridge back, that looked, identical to Titus. He'd come across the post and inquired, starting the conversation up in regards to payment. // Cadence had her hand on her stomach while she held Trick, feeding him his bottle. "Anything yet?"
Alexithymiaa: -Steph had basically come with the intention to throw down because dognapping was up there on her scale of ultimate sins. She'd been quietly pacing the small area of the cafe, chewing on her thumb nail as she considered how this interaction might go.-
Covet: Felix looked over at Steph, and wiped his mouth, "Hey can you sit down and relax for a second. You look like a tiger in a cage." // "The guy says they'll be here in about five minutes. Cadence I don't want you out there anymore than necessary, just enough to identify the dog." Benji said getting up from his spot, making his way towards the door looking around out in the parking lot. // Cadence sighed, and nodded her head, "Yes, I know. I don't want to be out there any longer, because I'm not putting myself in danger, or my daughter.
Alexithymiaa: "I can't." She shot back at him quickly, spinning around to walk back towards the bathroom and back again. "If you don't want to go outside at all, I can ID Titus for you. I don't know how fast the situation might explode."-
Covet: "Hey, save your anger for the criminals here." He said holding up a cheese covered finger at her. // Benji shook his head at his son, then looked at Steph, "Thank you, but try not to throw any punches unless necessary. The goal is to get the dog without getting the cops called."// "Why, who cares if they get called, then we just hold him here until they show up." Cadence said grumbling as she pulled the bottle from Trick and tucked it away in her backpack, then adjusted him back to his carseat.
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes at BOTH males, because she wasnt amused with either of their responses to her. "Would you wipe your hands?" She asked Felix before walking over to the door with Benji, glancing outside.-
Covet: "No." Felix said then went about licking them off instead. // "I think he's here, the guy said it was a Grey SUV and one just pulled up." Benji said, adjusting his jacket as he stepped outside. // Cadence got up, looking at Felix, "Keep and eye on Trick for a few." She said as she walked over to the door. // The grey SUV pulled up and parked, the scruffy looking guy going to the backseat to open up the door and get the dog situated on a leash.
Alexithymiaa: -She watched as the SUV pulled into the parking lot, nodding her head. "That has to be them." She put her hand out to catch the door, following Benji outside and holding the door for Cadence as well.-
Covet: Felix looked down at Trick, and nodded. "No worries, We can chill." He said. "Behave out there, all of you." He said grumbling because he couldn't be out there cause he was an arm down. // Benji cleared his throat and walked up to the SUV, "Terry, right?" He said then looked at the dog. "You said you wanted a thousand for him? Do you have the paperwork for him?" // Cadence walked out, but stayed back, crossing her arm, letting them rest on her stomach. " Well that looks like him, But the only tell tell sign would be the nick on his ear that he got from Petey. "
Alexithymiaa: -Steph started to walk over behind Benji, hearing Cadence's note about Titus' ear. Stepping forward, she knelt down in front of the dog, rubbing her hand over the top of his head as her eyes glanced over his ears. "I see it."-
Covet: Cadence watched them intently, then made her way back inside, to watch behind the glass door. // Benji watched Steph, then looked at the guy, "So papers or no?" // Terry looked down at the dog, then between the two of them, "Look, I don't have the papers, but If you give me eight hundred you can have him."
Alexithymiaa: -She pushed up to her feet, glancing up at the man holding Titus' leash. "Considering you stole him out of a backyard? You're not getting shit for him. He's going back to his rightful home. You're just lucky we didn't call the police." She said as she reached out to try to grab the leash from him.-
Covet: "So how about you just hand over the dog, and he can go back to his rightful owner and the cops don't get called." Benji said holding his hand out for the leash. // Terry glared at them. "You don't know anything. This is a great dog, the owner couldn't keep him." He said trying to lie, holding onto the leash tighter.
Alexithymiaa: "Really? Because the owner is inside the cafe worried sick about him because you STOLE him." Her hands shot out in front of her, shoving them into the male's chest in an attempt to push him back so they could take the dog.-
Covet: Benji put his hand out to hold Steph back. "Easy there spitfire." He said then looked at the guy, "As much as I'd love to release this young lady on you and be amused at the damage she'd definitely inflict, I'm more than happy to take her place." He said holding his hands out for the leash. // Terry scoffed and shoved Steph back, holding the leash away from them. "Well now you're definitely not going to get this dog. I don't care what you think."
Alexithymiaa: -She stopped when Benji put his hand out to hold her back, setting her jaw as she watched this asshole. When he shoved her back, she practically had steam coming out of her ears, ready to go hard for poor Titus. "Hilariously ironic because I dont care how far up inside your body your balls will be in about ten seconds."-
Covet: "I really don't want to do this the hard way." Benji said, looking at Titus who was starting to get agitated and was whining. // Terry yanked on the leash. "Shut up, you're fine dumb dog." // Benji had enough and brought his fist up to deck the guy right in the face causing him to drop Titus's leash, and the dog started growling at Terry as he and Benji got into it.
Alexithymiaa: -She quickly scrambled for the leash, pulling the dog back against the fact that he was definitely stronger than she was. She was debating letting Titus attack this douchebag, but she was a little concerned that Benji might get attacked in the mix of things. Struggling against the leash, she raised her voice. "Benji! Alright!"-
Covet: Hearing Steph, he pulled back from the guy, but still got up in his face. "Keep you hands off other people's dogs, you theiving sonovabitch." He glared, pointing at him before shoving him back against his vehicle, then turned around to see the dog losing his shit as Steph held onto him. " Hey buddy, it's okay... You're a good boy." He said reaching down to scratch his head.
Alexithymiaa: -Relieved that he'd stopped essentially when she asked him to, she exhaled deeply when he came over to pet Titus and help calm him down, holding the leash out toward him. "Can you take this for a second, please?" She asked.-
Covet: Benji held onto the leash then looked at Steph, "Why what are you doing?" He asked, then looked over at the guy. "Go on, get out of you you filth." // Terry held his cheek where he'd been punched and grumbled at the two of them, knowing he was losing out on a bit of cahs with the loss of this dog.
Alexithymiaa: -Once he took the leash, she moved her hand to her left arm to help control it a bit more, her fingers tingling and numb. "Nothing stupid, calm down." She walked to the side of the brick building, pressing her back against it flat and using her right hand to shove her shoulder back into its socket. She flinched hard because that'll never not hurt, but she was instantly able to feel her fingers again as she flexed them repeatedly.-
Covet: Benji watched her and then watches as Terry got into his vehicle and drove off. He watched Steph and winced. "Ouch. you alright there?" // Cadence went outside, and started calling at Titus, watching Benji holding him. She walked over to him and threw her arms around his neck, giving him a hug. "Than you both so much."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm fine. The more times you dislocate a joint, the easier it is to dislocate in the future. It's dumb." She said as she waved him off, raising her brows at Cadence when she threw her arms around his neck. "I'm just gonna... uhhh...." She started awkwardly, turning around to walk back into the cafe because this felt weird. "I didn't punch anyone. Just so you know."-
Covet: Benji smiled and patted Cadence's back as he watched Steph go back inside. He gave her a bigger squeeze and pulled her in close. "It's okay, He looks fine and you have your pup back again." // Cadence sniffled and burried her head into his shoulder crying being all emotional. // Felix was making faces at Trick when Steph came back in, "Hey that's good. You guys get Titus back?"
Alexithymiaa: "Benji on the other hand, did. Repeatedly." She added as she sat down on the stool next to him, moving her hand to support her arm a bit until the soreness let up. "We have Trick back, and Cadence seems very appreciative for the help."-
Covet: Benji just stood out there letting Cadence cry as he held onto the leash of the dog. // Cadence just cried like a little bitch, then mumbled. "Do you think you could come over after we all go our seperate ways? I know Steph and Felix are against it.. but it would be nice to have the company."
Covet: // Felix smiled and looked at Steph, " Well at least we know where I get it from?" He said his own little morbid joke. "Are you okay?" He asked seeing her favoring her arm.
Alexithymiaa: "Ehh.... but he won his fight. So I don't think that's where you get it from." She couldn't help, but laugh before nodding her head. "Yeah, Titus just pulled a little too hard on the leash. I already popped it back in."- (CADENCE GONNA SHOW HER APPRECIATION?)
Covet: "Uh, are you sure. I mean, I'm more than happy to, but only if you really need it. I'm sure they'll understand." Benji said rubbing her back. // Cadence nodded. "Yes, please. I don't expect them to understand regardless. But it will just stay between us." She said to him. // "Hey!" Felix said sharply "That was uncalled for. We can get going home so you can put some ice on it. It will feel like crap if you don't." [Oh definitely. lol]
Alexithymiaa: -She raised her brows, a little amused. "Oh? Please tell me more about how to take care of a dislocated shoulder." She slipped off the stood, putting her hands out for Trick. "Can I take Trick, or did you want to mansplain how to hold him also?"-
Covet: "Okay, let's get everyone on their way, then I'll come over to your place. You should get your boys home and enjoy some stress and worry free time. Titus could use some treats too." Benji told her then nudged her back towards the cafe so she could go in and get Trick. // Felix moaved Trick over to Steph, and rolled his eyes, " No, I'm sure you've got this one."
Alexithymiaa: -She pulled Trick into her arms, laying him down on her shoulder and tipping her head in to rest against his. She realized the attitude she was giving Felix right now and reeled back her frustration long enough to apologize, knowing they hadn't had sex in a while and she was a little on edge. "Sorry."-
Covet: "Cadence walked in and looked at Steph and Felix, then at Trick. "I hate to take him away from you, but I'm ready to go home for the night. I will talk to you guys tomorrow, once I get some doggy loves in." She told them getting Trick's carseat ready. // Felix put his good arm around Steph and pressed a kiss to her head, "You're fine. I think it's time for us to get out of here and get to bed as well."
Alexithymiaa: "Okay... but I'm coming to get him tomorrow for my Trick day." She said as she lowered him down into the carseat, getting him strapped in for her. She reached out to take Felix's hand, lacing her fingers with his. "Yeah, let's go home and get ice and pain meds." She told him, gently starting to pull him along to the door.-
