- :Honiahaka. That's what the wind istrument says.... why don't you talk?" Lucaine said to himself, watching the boy intently. The kid had to have a thousand words in his mind. But Lucaine didn't mind. The best words were no words. People spoke hurt and lies, Lucaine had no interest in hearing either of those two things. Sitting cross legged next to the boy Lucaine observed him
- Honiahaka was certainly clean, he didn't appear to be malnourished or in any sort of pain. But for what Lucaine could tell the kid was fairly happy. The wind instrument he layed was similar to a flute or piccolo but much more airy sounding. Lucaine liked it, being a wind magi. "Play your flute again." Lucaine mimed playing the ocarina.
- Looking up into the sky Lucaine heard footsteps and smelled a familiar presence, could it be the shinobi Ookami's surrogate son had come seeking his surrogate father? Peeking his head around to see if it was indeed Nerian Lucaine was pleasently surprised.
- (Lucaine Wihstgard)
- "Wow, you look pretty small compared to before" Nerian stated as he would suddenly approach the two.
- The day wasn't all that bad to him in all honesty. Wake up, do his daily routines, kiss mom good bye, then out the door. That was basically it. Maybe there was the fact that he returned to the edge of the cliff and searched the woods for any sightings of fun. But what it had came down to was finding two figures oddly shaped way to far from the home grounds. They almost seemed to be near the border of Wychwoods, if not at the border line. Which his mother had told him to avoid, fearing that he would live the life of being kidnapped as his mother had. Smiling at the thought, he thought that his mother was way to naive as he was one of the fastest people that he knew. Even close to his mothers speed at her prime. So if danger were to occur. He'd be out in a jiffy.
- (Nerian)
- Hearing his name finally spoken by someone, he gave a nod and a smile, but his smile faded away as soon as the question of being a mute arose. He'd simply turn his head towards the ground his eyes starting to fill with tears in that moment as he couldn't talk about it. He could show the man, but that wasn't what he wanted to do right now, bad enough he showed one person. He'd look to the man that told him to play his ocarina again, simply giving a nod of his head as he placed it on his mouth.
- He'd start to play it once more, this time being more of a sad song. He would still be good at it though, playing the song the best he could. He'd tremble a little bit, soon hearing the footsteps of another person approaching, was this really happening now? Was he about to get taken away from his new home by these two people? He wasn't sure, hopefully they're nice people and will let him return home when he wants to.

- Lucaine was impressed with the display of musical prowess. The kid was talented and it put a genuine smile on his face.Lucainie danced leaves around the boys head ith his wind magic and smiled hi greatest smile. Sometimes the best things in life didn't have a voice, you had to find them through experience. But now he had to turn his attention to Nerian.
- "Who looks small pipsqueek?" He stated gruffly and gave Nerian a massive noogie, appearing behind Nerian from out of nowhere. "How's your mom doing brat?!" He cried as he let go of the kid to hear his own account of Saria. Lucaine wanted that girl bad...
- (Lucaine Wihstgard)
- A melody was played from the yellow colored kid. It was sweet and rich. But he wasn't into such things as he was far to young to care. So he sortive dashed him aside as he most likey came by to bother Lucaine.
- Who looks small pipsqueek?
- A voice would suddenly appear from behind him as his head was greeted with a rough fist, shaking vigoriously throughout his hair. Which caused him to wince as Lucaine asked him how his mother is doing, and to top it all off. He called him a brat.
- Enraged by it. He turned tails and cocked back his leg to only let it go and aim for Lucaine's shin. Aiming to hit it with all of his force. It he were to miss or not didn't matter as he continued on by saying.
- "She's doing fine." he had said so as he pouted and crossed his arms. He couldn't believe that the man believed their tale. To which he later would say. "How did you do that?" he exclaimed as his innocent look reappeared back on his face.
- "How did you teleport behind me? It was the manipulation of elements huh?" he said annoyingly
- (Nerian)
- He kept playing for a while, seeming to be enjoying his own song a little bit. His eyes were closed as he played, so he couldn't see the leaves dancing around his head, but he felt the wind moving around him. It worried him slightly that there was a chance his hood would fall down from the wind, but he made sure that it wouldn't, having tighten it a little bit when he freed a hand.
- It wouldn't be long befor ehe'd open his right eye and look to the pair, he wasn't sure what to think of them. He'd close it soon enougfh and return to playing his ocarina, changing to a different song at the moment, one that's a slight bit happier than the first one. There was still no attempts to say anything to the man or the other boy, he would just simply play the songs for them and keep going.
- (Honiahaka)
- Lucaine was enjoying the boys music. He was quite the artist. Lucaine hummed with the tune and danced the leaves all around the boy, moving them to Nerian nd dicing them up with rozor wind when the boy spoke. "What does Saria think of me?" He asked Nevian, focusing now on his surrogate son.
- "I know i left real quickly, but it was important. Was she mad?" Lucaine looked frighten, remembering his mother when she was angry. With a shudder he dismissed the thought. "And yeah, it was manipulation of the elements son. I could teach you if you turn out to be a decent kid." Lucaine snidely remarked and danced the more leaves around the boys. "How old are you anyways son?" Luucaine asked Nevian while blowing the leaves in his face with a snap of his fingers. "And what are your dreams kid?"
- (Lucaine Wihstgard)
- The tunes coming from Honiahaka would seem to appeal more to the encounter between Lucaine and himself. Which made him smile to himself as he noticed it. It was strange yes. But it was also interesting to him. He just couldn't help himself as he felt as if the music had impowered him to drag on this lie a little further. But he didn't want to push it to far.
- "She doesn't think much of you. Nor will I. When you left, she wasn't mad at all. It seemed as if she didn't care. Maybe she just doesn't have feeling for you at all" he said slyly with a shrug. He would wait for a couple of moments to let that sink in and sting Lucaine. He wanted to see if it would bring out a reaction on him. So he stared him hardly in his eye before finishing his previvous saying by ending with. " Or maybe she understood that you had an important matter to attend too. Who knows"
- His mischevious smile never failed him as it kept its presence on his lips.
- "I knew it!" He exclaimed. But suddenly his expression would change as he felt that Lucaine had offended him.
- "If I turn out to be a decent kid? " he repeated towards Lucaine.
- He would then go on to hear Lucaine ask him as to how old he was as leaves had started and continued to dance about.
- "How about I ask the questions lover boy?" he retorted. "Why do you like mommy so much?" he demanded innocently as he crossed his arms and stared him coldly in his eyes
- "I notice that you've called me son a couple times of now. Care to tell me why" he states as one of his eye brows would soon raise
- (Nerian)
- The small boy was still trying to keep the mood a happy one, soon changing the song to a very upbeat song. He would open his eyes a little bit, noticing the leaves dancing about, not knowing either of the two, so he didn't know what to say or think about them. It wasn't till his concentration was soon broken by this talk on magic, making him stop playing his instrument. He wondered what kind of magic he would be able to use, but at the same time, he won't be able to use it for a long time.
- He'd simply shrug and sat on the ground, putting his instrument away and staring up at the sky for a while. He would seem to just be thinking at the moment, wondering what to do now, since there was little for him to do. He's not one to fight and he can't use magic either, so he'll just have to think for a long time.
- Slowly, he'd pull his knees to his chest and wrap his arms around his thighs, looking up at the two with a curious expression on his face, not knowing what they'll talk about next.
- (Honiahaka)
- Lucaine made a face at the boy. He hated when people asked him questions.Thinking it over Lucain decided to tell the boy why he called him son. It was a complicated matter. Lucaine had been orphaned since he was thirteen. After a yokai attack in Danarium Lucaine had managed his own. "I'm your ddad ccause Saria is your mom and we are soul mates, duh kid Everyone likes their soulmate, it's second nature." Lucaine stuck his tongue out at Nerian. This kid would never understand love.
- "Yeah, a decent kid! I can't pass your grandfathers shinobi teachings to an ungrateful prat!" Lucain snarled at the young Ookami boy. The Ookami Shinobi Way was perilous and fraught with danger. Lucaine would have to aanalyze this kids battle potential. "So, what do you two do for fun? Lucaine asked both of them at once.
- (Lucaine Wihstgard)
- The music stopped. The tone had been settled down as it was now different with the music now gone and Honiahaka staring up towards the sky. Nerian would start to ask him as to what the kid was doing. But he would become interrupted by Lucaine.
- I'm your ddad ccause. . .
- The mere thought of Lucaine being his father had been a flat out lie. But it got to him. Taking a step back he began to take in everything the man had said. Him being called a 'decent' kid and that he couldn't learn some shinobi's teachings because he was an ungrateful brat.
- But he certainly knew that there was no way for Lucaine to be his father as he didn't have purple fur. Meaning it was most likely impossible for him TO be his father. In which he regained his act and placed himself in motion too find out some new things.
- " My grandfather being a shinobi? What does that mean? What else is there that I don't know. Who are you really? Who is my mother?" he asked with curiousity
- (Nerian)
- His gaze remains on the sky for a while, allowing the two of them to talk to each other. He was hoping thast they weren't going to involve him into this conersation, but he was involved soon. He heard the question about what they do for fun. He would glance down a little bit, lifting his ocarina as it was clear that it was the only thing he can do for fun.
- It wasn't long before he would notice the outburst of the other child, glancing to him. He'd get to his feet and start to try and leave the two to their conversation, since this was a family affair. He doesn't want to get in the middle of that, especially since he doesn't have a family anymore. He'd just hope the man didn't care if he left or not, seeming to attempt to sneak away, heading a little bit towards the south east, to a place he remembers a little bit.
- (Honiahaka)
- Lucaine saw the boy leaving, he was a strange and quiet kid but Luaine liked him. He hoped he would not go. Calling out to him beffore le left Lucaine held out some parchment and a feath he had plucked from an eagle nest in the Yokai forest. "Hey Honiahaka, this is for you." Pulling them out of his ouch Lucaine handed his gifts to the boy. Hoping he would learn to read and write one day if he couldn't now. "Just find ink okay?" Lucaine told the boy.
- Turning to Nevian Lucaine had flashbacks of his fathers training. There had once been a time when Lucaines father spoke the very same words. "See Nevian we are kindred spirits, our Ookami blood is closely related and you are my spirit son." Lucaine explained, almost making the wordds up as fast ass he said them. This was how Lucaine theologized the world. Some believed is Asena and Saerkanis, Lucaine believed that everything would come together in it's own way. Maybe the boy missing his mother and Lucaine missing his father had brought the two togetherr. Thinking about his parents teachings Lucaine coughed, snapping himself back into the present.
- "It's complicated. Your grandfather was the son of the first Ookami Shinobi, and our training is passed down. My father was a water magi and his style was different than mine. Yours might be too." Lucaine thought about all of the kids questions, it had seemed so simple yesterday, finding love and making a family. Now he had to divulge his patriarchal lineage! Hmmph, Lucaine sighed and began his story.
- "Well, are you prepared to hear the story of your great great grandfather and his rennowned Shinobi Ookami way?" Lucaine asked the young wolf-kin.
