- "Acknowledge that most major decisions don't matter that much" resonates with me. It is the opposite of what you expect. I think that this type of behavior will help relieve a lot of stress. I think this behavior will help in programming and in life in general. "Say I don't know" also resonates with me. By admitting when you don't know something, it will save a lot of time. Technology is always changing. Because of this, there will be a time when something new comes along that you dont undertand. "Take responsibility for your mistakes" resonates with me because it is a valuble behavior for programming and life. This behavior encourages developers to focus on things they can control. It will also help when working with other people.
- Checklists are useful to stay organized. When there are a lot of things going on, it is easy to get overwhelmed and forget something that needs to be done. Checkslists serve as a simple reminder. With checklists, work can get done more efficiently.
- I think that strength-based development can be an efficient system. I think it is smart to focus on what you're good at. It makes more sense to strengthen what you're good at. I think that it is more efficient than trying to develop a new skill that you may never master.
- I think some of my strengths are being able to learn quickly and being organized. I think that being able to learn quickly is one of my strengths because I feel like I am able to pick up new things quickly. I think I am good at being organized because I don't often forget things and get things done efficiently.
- I understand that things at Turing are very fast paced. I hope to develop my skills of learning quickly because I will be learning a great amount of new information in a short amount of time. I think that this will also force me to be more organized so that I can get all of my work done efficiently. I think an environment like this will push me to further develop my skills.
