- --------------------------- SKILLS -------------------------------
- Vaal Ground Slam (6L):
- - Not much to say here, Full Fire 6L Damage Set Up
- - You will mainly only be using the normal Ground Slam for single target dps, because Leap Slam and Vaal Ground Slam should already be clearing everything while mapping
- - Vaal Ground Slam won't be affected by Multistrike support, but it does significantly help our single target dps using the normal Ground Slam.
- - With the amount of AoE we are stacking here, Vaal Ground Slam should pretty much be hitting the entire screen
- War Cry: Infernal Cry or Enduring Cry
- - Enduring Cry for more survivability (+3 Endurance charges and extra burst healing every few seconds)
- - Infernal Cry for more dps (Covered in Ashes debuff)
- - Another benefit of Infernal Cry is also the Combust damage on exerted attacks
- - Ground slam attacks cannot be exerted because they are supported by Multistike, these exerted attacks are going to be for your Leap Slams
- - This allows you to pretty much just use Leap Slam to get teh first kill, trigger explosions and then clear full screens of White/Blue mobs
- - For Yellow mobs, just follow up with an additional Vaal Ground Slam
- Auras (5L):
- - We are running 4 Auras in this build, all linked to Enlightened Support in one of our 6links
- - Make sure all auras are maxed level, except for Precision, which you should level up as high as possible while still leaving about 70-90 unreserved mana for your Ground Slamming
- - I run Sand Stance for all Mapping and only switch to Blood Stance for bigger bosses like Sirus / Conquerors etc
- Misc:
- - Blood Rage for increased Attack Speed + Frenzy Charge generation during mapping
- - Molten Shell / Vaal Molten Shell for additional damage mitigation whenever you need it
- - Leap Slam helps to clear packs during mapping and also grants Fortify for more damage mitigation
- - Ancestral Warchief is a staple for most melee builds, gives a good damage boost during bosses
- - Cast when Damage Taken: Casts our debuffs for us (Wave of Conviction / Flammability Curse / Ice Golem)
- - This is a leech-based build, so getting hit and casting our debuffs is very comfortable
- - We are also running CWDT at level 1 so we cast these debuffs as often as possible
- ------------ GLORIOUS VANITY + DIVINE FLESH --------------
- - Putting this in it's own section because PoB doesn't record this and it confuses a lot of people
- - Glorious Vanity (Xibaqua) is used in the middle-ish jewel socket, which would convert your "Eternal Youth" keystone passive into another passive called "Divine Flesh"
- - Divine Flesh converts 50% of all elemental damage taken to chaos, and increases your max chaos resists by 10%
- - Together with the Born in Chaos Cluster Jewel passive, we hit 88% Chaos Resistance which gives us very good mitigation against any form of Elemental Damage
- - Do note that this would convert all other passive skills in it's area (even the small ones)
- - This is completely random and there is no way to tell what each Glorious Vanity Jewel does to the non-keystone nodes unless the person you're buying it from tells you (and you trust him)
- - This is why we are socketing it in a socket that does not really impact any of our important notables
- - It will also affect 2 of your life nodes in your circle of life (which is why in my tree i skipped out on one of the nodes, because it no longer grants me %life).
- ------------------- GEAR -------------------------------------------
- Note: This build runs a LOT of cluster jewels which , because of Harvest crafting, are ridiculously easy to roll elemental/chaos resists on.
- It's okay to compromise on some resists on your gear if you know you have enough crafts to get them back on your cluster jewels.
- Helm: Rare, easy self-craft
- - You can run an Abyssus for more damage here, but I decided to go for a rare crafted helm because crafting it is pretty easy this league and it does not make us too squishy
- - The stats you see on my helm are pretty much what you are looking for (obviously you would want T1/T2 life instead of crafted life but I spammed so many crafts and did not hit it so i gave up).
- - This helm is pretty easily crafted using the following steps:
- 1. Buy an ilvl85 base with your desired enchant, preferably not ES-based
- 2. Slam a Warlord's Exalted Orb
- 3. Scour the item (unless you happen to already have a very good roll after the slam)
- 4. Assuming you've scoured the item, spam alterations to hit "Nearby enemies have -9% to fire resists"
- 5. You can also add/remove fire mods for this mod using Harvest crafting, but i think alt-spamming here is much cheaper and faster
- 6. Once you hit it, use a regal orb to turn it into a Rare item
- 7. Make sure all unwanted mods here are removable via Harvest crafting. If not, just start again.
- 8. Once you have your rare item, block your prefixes and augment crit
- 9. You will definitely land Crit Multi. From here, add/remove crit mods until you hit T1 Crit Multi
- 10. Use your last suffix to get whatever resist you need, I chose chaos for mine.
- 11. Now that we're done with suffixes, remove a prefix and augment crit again. You will definitely get +1 to Max Power Charges
- 12. With your suffixes blocked, Augment Fire and you will definitely land %phys damage taken as fire
- 13. Add/remove fire mods until you hit T1 for this (assuming you don't have fire resists as your suffix).
- 14. Once you get that, it's all about add/removing life mods until you hit T1 or T2 life
- 15. The odds for T1 life are pretty slim and I gave up after a while and opted to just craft on my life instead
- 16. If you already have all the crafts, this shouldn't cost you more than 200c or so
- Weapon: High pDPS Axe
- - Not much to say here, get an Axe with as high a pDPS as possible
- - Getting Crit Chance / Crit Multi on it would be really good as well
- - I didn't craft this myself as I am not a fan of the super high RNG involved in pDPS Weapon crafting + they are usually very readily available on the market
- Gloves: Rare
- - Look for gloves with 48-50% Physical Damage Converted to Fire
- - This is made up from the Fire conversion temple mod together with the Fire conversion Crusader mod
- - This is important as it brings our total phys > fire conversion to 88-90% (including the extra 40% from the skill tree)
- - This greatly increases the damage from our explode mod on our chest, almost fully converting it to Fire
- - Other than that, just look out for life / resistances / attack speed / +Phys or Fire damage to attacks
- Body Armor: Rare
- - This league is the chance for you to use ridiculous combinations of mods on influenced body armors because of Harvest crafting
- - Ideally, look for a body armor with Life + Explode + Power Charge on Crit + Additional Curse + Attack Crit Chance
- - In any other league this would be near impossible to find, but in this league, chests like these are all over the market
- - If you want to craft it yourself, there are many other guides already posted on this by others so i won't go through it here
- Others:
- - Amulet - Life / Crit Multi / Phys Damage as Extra Fire / some Dex + Int would help the build a lot. Anoint with Discipline and Training for more survivability, or Feller of Foes for more dps.
- - Boots - Tailwind would be the main stat you are looking for here, along with some Life / Resists / Movement Speed
- - Rings - Mark of the Elder + Shaper Ring combo is really strong, especially on a build like this where you're going to want to pick up Assassin's Mark on your other ring anyway
- Jewels:
- - Do note that I am not using any of the Ground Slam Rapid Expansion Jewels, mainly because our explosions provide all the AoE we need for clearing already, so the increased angle isn't really worth the jewel socket
- - For Rare jewels, just go for Life + as much Crit Multi as you can
- - For Watcher's Eye, based on my gear, the best option would be to go for %Phys as Extra Fire + Fire Penetration
- - These went for around 28ex when i got mine. Depending on your budget, you can go for a single mod or a triple mod Watcher's Eye instead
- - Also note that because of our Ascendancy, we are unaffected by bleeding while leeching, so you DON'T need any immunity to Corrupted Blood on your jewels.
