  3. Upon checking, there's an error when you tried to add the account. This issue is happening because Outlook is no longer able to support Outlook.com accounts without an Outlook.com address there. Here's how to fix it:

  5. 1. Add a new Outlook.com alias to your existing Microsoft ID account. Instructions for adding an Outlook.com alias to a Microsoft account can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12407/microsoft-account-manage-aliases .
  6. 2. Once added to the account, return to the link above and follow the instructions under \"Change which alias is primary\" to set your new Outlook.com account as your primary alias.
  7. 3. Then remove your account from the app (may have to turn flight mode on for that)
  8. 4. Then try to add it again using this new address you just made.

  10. If you do not wish to do this, you can simple login to the App using the email service you have. For example; log your account as Exchange or IMAP.
