background: sora was born as the second child in the family and as the middle child she was often overlooked because of her super smart older sister and her cuter younger brother. she wasn't really close to her parents as they were often too busy working so the kids were left alone. her older sister barely did anything to take care of the younger two so sora was very responsible even when she was quite young as she took care of herself and her younger brother. sora was typically a shy child due to her parents not really giving her lots of attention meaning she didn't really build the confidence that a lot of kids had. she could probably say that her life was quite boring but she was pretty content with that. when she was around 10 years old, her japanese grandmother moved in with them due to health issues and sora loved her grandma because she was probably the only adult that really paid attention gave love to her as a child. her grandma, who used to be a geisha, had a thing for the arts and they found that the talent for music was passed on to sora. sora has mild asthma so she couldn't really run around much like the other kids so playing instruments gave her an interest and things to do. she was taught traditional japanese instruments but she liked playing the korean gayageum better, she also learnt more modern instruments such as guitar and cello as she got older. her grandma is really encouraging her to go to music college after high school and she also wants to do that but has gets stage fright before she performs so she's too scared to audition for something so serious.

how they act in school: you'll probably notice her only because of the instruments that she always has strapped to her and with her earphones in not really paying attention to anything. sits in the back corner of the class and stares out into the outside, she prefers listening to talking in class. the teachers don't mind her because they don't really notice her except the music teacher. the only class that she's pretty active in is probably music. she sits out most of the time during p.e. because of her asthma and you'll see her sitting in the shade with her earphones in or in the music rooms just playing by herself. always has packed lunches that her grandma makes because she doesn't like the cafeteria food and her close friends always steal from her lunch.

how they got involved in the project: sora is quite close to her music teacher and her music teacher knows about her stage fright and thought that this project would take her out of her comfort zone and grow her confidence. but the thing is she never discussed it with sora before she signed her up.

how they feel about the project: she's very confused and unsure what she's going to be doing there. she doesn't even talk to boys, except her younger brother and he doesn't count, so she's not sure what to do. they have such different interests she doesn't know how she'll be able to talk to him. and she's also been single since birth so wtf is marriage.

first impressions:
	⇾ HER | sora had never noticed him before and until one of her friends said that he's the star player of the soccer team. she thought he was quite friendly but she just shut down and didn't say anything except stare at him until she noticed that she didn't introduce herself and blushed.
	⇾ HIM | he's actually seen her around before often sitting out during p.e. and also an incident that she doesn't remember happening when they were on the train otw to school and she was getting pushed around with her cello and she accidentally held on to him to keep stable. he thought thought she was cute when she blushed.

      → beginning: she's very shy around him because she hardly talks to anyone, especially boys. barely talks and just nods or shake her head when he asks a question. she's very worried she's not doing enough to interact with him and tries to talk about stuff but ends up opening her mouth and closing it straight away. she's full of awkward smiles and laughs because she doesn't know what else to do. blushes a lot when he says something nice about her.

      → middle: she's beginning to open up to him as she's realised his easy going and friendly nature. she laughs at his silliness and antics. she finds herself talking more with him and even inviting him to watch her perform when she never really invites people to do that. in return she goes to his games and cheers him enthusiastically which is very unlike her. she's very thankful that he tolerates her closed nature and gets surprised when he seems to read her like a book. she doesn't know it but she's forming a little crush on him and still blushes when he gives her attention because she's still not used to getting it.

      → end: she's quite open to him now and he seems to know what she's thinking without her telling him but she still quiet because that's just how she is. but she jokes around with him now and even joins in with him when he's joking around. he's helped her to be more confident and she's realised that she likes him but she's still not good at expressing her emotions. she kinda gets lowkey jealous when he's with other girls and the others have to push her into confessing that she likes him.

      → beginning: he thinks that she's the most adorable little thing in the whole world especially when she blushed. he was so tempted to tease her at the beginning but stops himself. he's very friendly to her and tries to start conversations with her even though it kinda dies which lowkey frustrates him but he still tries. he found it refreshing how she's not really a girl that fangirls over him but its prolly cos she doesn't really pay attention to sport stuff - which is both bad and good.

      → middle: he's noticed her her little quirks and habits, can read what she's feeling. he gets surprised though everytime she's being playful with him but he doesn't know why. he tends to talk himself up to impress her cos she doesn't seem as impressed with him like other girls which gets on his nerves cos he likes her wants to show his best. he likes that she's more open to him than to most people. loves it when she started coming to his soccer games and cheers him on. he thinks that she's the prettiest when she's performing. he also loves to tease her because it makes her react and thinks its super cute and funny.
