The Cold Emprah

Mr_Narrator>	With the little family issue resolved, the time came for the master and servants to prepare for their departure to the Imperial Mountain Resort. Time to pack up, ladies!
	* [Sc]Mayu	slips a pair of bra pads into her suitcase, underneath her folded uniforms.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	There, no one should find them here!
	<[Sc]Mayu>	I wonder how Milia's getting on?
	* [huh]Milia	peeks into the room just then.
	<[huh]Milia>	Mayu~ how are you doing~
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Huh? Oh, Milia! I didn't hear you come in, I'm just finishing up. How about you?
	* [Sc]Mayu	closes the suitcase
	* [huh]Milia	holds up her hands.
	<[huh]Milia>	Milia has nothing to pack~
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Oh that's right, you didn't come here with anything did you....
	* [huh]Milia	shakes her head.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Well, truth is I don't own anything either. Master Edgar owns me you see, so really all these things are his....
	* [pyGM]Edgar	can be heard down the hallway calling for Amalia.
	* [Sc]Mayu	"What? Amalia, I'm way better than that second rate house cat!"
	<[huh]Milia>	Poor Mayu...
	* [pyGM]Edgar	stops by Mayu's door.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Ah, good, you're both here.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	You're all packed, I presume, Mayu?
	* [Sc]Mayu	nods
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Yes master, all done here.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Then start packing my things while I handle a small matter with the council. I shouldn't be took long.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Yes master, we'll do that right away.
	* [pyGM]Edgar	turns and heads back the way he came.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Right, shall we get to work then Milia?
	* [huh]Milia	nods.
	<[huh]Milia>	Alright!
	* [huh]Milia	scampers off down the hall, toward Edgar's room.
	* [Sc]Mayu	follows after her.

	<Mr_Narrator>	The pair enter the spacious room. The bed sits in the center, now made from earlier today. The master's suitcase sits at the edge of the bed, open but empty. Looks like he was going to pack it himself if he didn't have a meeting to go to.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Did the master say what he wanted to bring?
	* [huh]Milia	shakes her head.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Okay, well what do you think we should get for him?
	<[huh]Milia>	Nnn... I don't really know what grownup emperors like...
	* [Sc]Mayu	giggles
	<[Sc]Mayu>	And you know what little emerors would like?

	<[Sc]Mayu>	Don't you think that cakes would get squished in the suitcases?
	<[huh]Milia>	They would be cushioned by the other cakes.
	* [Sc]Mayu	doubles over with laughter
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Well I can't argue with that!
	<Mr_Narrator>	The maids manage to pack everything necessary fro a mountain trip, even some things that the master would not have thought of!
	* [Sc]Mayu	wipes her sleeve across her forehead
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Okay! We're done!
	<[huh]Milia>	Is that everything?
	* [pyGM]Edgar	enters his room.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Master!
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Damn old men...
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Oh, it looks like we're set then.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	The limousine should be out front by now.
	* [Sc]Mayu	"Haha! Working here does have it's advantages, a limousine!
	<[huh]Milia>	Wah~
	<Mr_Narrator>	With their luggage in the back, the master and his servants set out. The rest of the afternoon is spent driving up the mountain with the sun already beginning to set in the horizon.
	<Mr_Narrator>	It looks like there's some time to have small talk.

	<Mr_Narrator>	A silence merely fills the rest of the ride up the mountain. The cabin's in sight now.

	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Hmm? Ah, yes, she'd been making sure everything is set by the time we arrive.
	<Mr_Narrator>	The limousine pulls up to the cabin's driveway. Ayaka's standing by the door, expecting their arrival.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	It'll be good to stretch our legs now!
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Took you guys long enough, I was starting to wonder if I'm being abandoned.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	We had some unexpected visitors.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Ah, I see. I hope everything's fine then?
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	I suppose.
	* [Sc]Mayu	motions for Edgar and moves to one side
	<[Sc]Mayu>	After you master
	<[PB]Ayaka>	That's good. Well, come on in, don't stand there in the cold.

	* [pyGM]Edgar	exits the limo, shivering and rubbing his hands as a reaction to the sudden cold.
	* [PB]Ayaka	opens the doors to the cabin, which radiates a warmth that spells paradise to anyone.
	<Mr_Narrator>	The driver steps out of the car also and takes the luggage out of the truck to bring it inside.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	I already have the tea ready in the main room, would you like me to bring it to your rooms? Or do you wish to have it in the main room instead?
	* [huh]Milia	wakes, yawns, and stretches.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Oh, I'll just have it in the main room.
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Wake up sleepy head!
	<[huh]Milia>	Ah... we're there?
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Very well then, main room it is~
	* [PB]Ayaka	smiles at Edgar, then at the others.
	* [Sc]Mayu	scoops Milia up in her arms and takes her into the cabin
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Yes, welcome to our mountain resort, I'll show you three your rooms if you wish.
	* [huh]Milia	doesn't resist.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Oh, and, Houston, bring in Amalia.
	<Mr_Narrator>	The driver nods stepping back outside to retrieve the last maid.

	<[Sc]Mayu>	Really, Amalia and Milia are such children falling asleep like that.
	* [PB]Ayaka	smiles at Mayu's comment.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Well, it's only natural after all.
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Oh? A moment ago I heard you wishing you could just sleep anywhere like they can.
	* [Sc]Mayu	goes a little red.
	* [PB]Ayaka	chuckles, then gestures at the cabin.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Now come on in, we've been standing in the snow for too long now. The best views aren't available until later in the day~
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Right, right.
	* [pyGM]Edgar	heads for the inviting indoors of the cabin.
	* [Sc]Mayu	let's Milia down so she can walk
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Shall we?
	<Mr_Narrator>	The driver, with a sleeping Amalia slung over his shoulders, follows after the master.
	* [huh]Milia	walks along, though seemingly reluctant to leave Mayu's warmth.
	* [PB]Ayaka	halts the driver on his way into the cabin.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	Ah yeah, Houston, the carpark's on the other side of the third lodge, just to remind you.
	<Mr_Narrator>	The driver nods.
	* [PB]Ayaka	nods back with a smile, and enters in after everyone's inside the cabin.
	* [Sc]Mayu	grabs Milia's hand and goes inside with her
	<Mr_Narrator>	The group enter the cabin. Inside, it's much smaller than the Imperial Estate's main hall, but it's big and decorated enough to look like a member of the elite owns this place. Edgar can be seen sitting contently by the fireplace, enjoying the warmth.
	* [Sc]Mayu	whispers to Ayaka
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Get the tea!
	* [PB]Ayaka	nods once and walks off to bring the pots and cups to the coffee table by the fireplace.
	* [huh]Milia	bounces in her seat, enthralled by how soft it is.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	What would you like today? Earl Grey?
	<[pyGM]Edgar>	Ah, who would have thought the bones of the Xi Cian people could double as fuel for a fireplace.
	* [pyGM]Edgar	rubs his hands as he revels in the warmth of the fireplace.
	* [Sc]Mayu	shudders at the thought of where those bones came from
	* [PB]Ayaka	blatantly ignores the fireplace comment as she points to a pot

	* [PB]Ayaka	then proceeds to pour the tea into four cups, one for Edgar, one for the other two maids and one for herself.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	I'm more concerned about his personal health than anything else.
	<[PB]Ayaka>	[retcon that, it never happened]
	* [pyGM]Edgar	happily takes the tea and sips. Ah, warm inside and warm outside!
	* [Sc]Mayu	takes a cup too, wow it is good!
	* [huh]Milia	takes a cup as well.
	* [PB]Ayaka	too, takes a cup after she placed the pot down. Ah, still has it~
	<[Sc]Mayu>	Is this your first time up in the mountains Milia?
	* [huh]Milia	nods.
	<Mr_Narrator>	The master and maids have made it to the cabin. Now, what will await them up here? Wait and see, until next time!
