JOKER: Right, you wanted me to teach you how to make tea, didn't you?

CHARLOTTE: Yes, if you'd be so kind. We could even start right now, if you wouldn't mind? I've already set aside the time... for just the two of us....

JOKER: Got it. We'll start now.

CHARLOTTE: Ufufu. Thank you.

JOKER: Hm? A bee's come flying in.

JOKER: It's right behind you.

CHARLOTTE: H-huh? Where is it? I don't see anything! Do something, quickly!

JOKER: Do it yourself.

CHARLOTTE: Please, I'm so scared! Hurry, hurry... hurry up and kill the frickin' thing, you worthless sack of crap! What are you gonna do if I get stung, huh!? You gonna take responsibility for it!?

JOKER: Hah... just as I thought.

CHARLOTTE: Ah... Ahhhh!? N-no, you have it all wrong! That was just a little twitch...

JOKER: I don't know why you're playing a different personality... but, you won't fool me with such shoddy acting.

CHARLOTTE: Joker... I'm not gonna try sucking up to someone when that my cover's blown.

JOKER: Fine by me.

CHARLOTE: Sign... I thought it'd go pretty well...

JOKER: Why do you suck up to men?

JOKER: Hah. That's some straightforward reasoning.

CHARLOTTE: I mean, it's better to be liked than to be disliked, right? Just give them a little bit of the sexy eyes, and soon they'll do all sorts of favors for you.

JOKER: That may be so. Men who aren't me tend to be pretty simple-minded.

CHARLOTTE: Sigh... I think I'm kinda tuckered out... Lately, I've had a lot of failures like this one, too...  Maybe it'd be best to go back to my old ways and try to work my way up through the ranks.... I may not look like it, but I'm pretty strong, you know? I hide it because guys don't like it, though.

JOKER: I suppose. But... I applaud the way you live your life buttering up men.

CHARLOTTE: What? You're kidding, right?

JOKER: Not at all. Sucking up to men is also a valuable way of getting ahead in life. There's no need to stop or be ashamed of it. Just keep on improving your abilities.

CHARLOTTE: ...Fufu. I think that's the first time anyone's said that to me... but you're right. This is another one of the weapons I use for survival.

JOKER: Yeah.

CHARLOTTE: Fufufu. Thanks. I guess it really does take one to know one.

JOKER What...?

CHARLOTTE: You heard me. You're really cold to people other than your master, right? We are both experts at changing our personalities depending on who we're around.

JOKER: Don't try to get any more popular. I hereby forbid you from sucking up to men.

CHARLOTTE: What's gotten into you? You even said it was a valuable way of getting ahead the other day.

JOKER: Because I've fallen in love with you.

JOKER: This isn't sudden. I told you that I applauded your actions, didn't I? I held a favorable opinion of your lifestyle, so it isn't hard to see how I'd come to hold a favorable opinion of you as well. Now do you understand?

CHARLOTTE: I-I still don't get what's going on!

JOKER: It's simple. I fell in love with you, and proposed to you. End of story.

CHARLOTTE: I-I know that much... b-but... my mind's still a mess...

JOKER: I can't blame you for that. But, I've already said my part. The rest is up to you.

CHARLOTTE: Y-you say that, but-

JOKER: Do you hate me?

CHARLOTTE: ...No, I don't hate you.

JOKER: Then you like me?

CHARLOTTE: I... yeah... I think... I like you...

JOKER: Then that's settled. Marry me.

CHARLOTTE: Sheesh... you're being too forceful.

JOKER: Some degree of force is unavoidable. That's because I've never met a woman like you before. If I drag this out, someone else may take you from me.

CHARLOTTE: ...Fufu. How nice of you to say that. Alright... I'll marry you. But, I'm not gonna stop trying to be popular. It's always better to have more allies than less.

JOKER: Tch... fine, but swear that I'm the only one you'll love. If you do that, then I'll allow you to suck up to men.
