How to Validate Garry's Mod (Steam)

1. Go to Games Library
2. Right click Garry's Mod
3. Properties
4. Click "Local Files" tab
5. Click "Verify integrity of game cache"
6. The verification process should stop as files failed to validate and will be reacquired.
7. Wait for the new download to start.
8. Allow the download to finish.
9. Your Garry's Mod should now be optimized for the SteamPipe changes and fixed if you have had crashes.
10. Run Garry's Mod from your Games Library.
