- There are truths that aren't necessarily literally true, but are metaphorically true. Some value is derived from taking them as true.
- The only true freedom is that which you create. Trustlessness. Only through your own power can you create freedom. Otherwise your freedom is incomplete as you indebt yourself to supposed altruists in the process. Value, time, freedom are intrinsically linked.
- Time isn't money. Money is time. All value comes from time. Every being pays for their time with death. Nothing is worth more than life to a dying man.

- The problem with communism is when it is enforced rather than occurring naturally.
- In nature, communism (sharing food, water, labor, shelter from most able to most need) works well in communities, while they are still capitalistic between species in general.
- It wouldn't be so brutally awful of a system if you could somehow apply it universally. It's the fact that "the invisible hand of Nature" (rather than any individual within it) is guiding communism that allows it to function.
- The nature of creating communism as a system from something that isn't communism though, is that you must have someone to direct it. Which means, right from the get-go, in order to attempt to "create" communism, you have to put in place a long-term system of organizers in power to uphold it, the very antithesis of the idea itself. You have to have the inequal men kicking down the doors of people for being inequal. Because in a truly communistic society, there can be no governance, only individual responsibility, which works well in small niches and groups, but ends unilaterally in disaster when expanded to such a grand scale. Yet you must have some form of government as the system would tend towards staying the same otherwise.

- Do not unduly rob others of their conflict. You make their victory cheap. The greatest refinement comes under the most pressure. You do not make their lives better, you make their lives easier. At the same time, do not allow others to achieve your victory for you. Your greatest strength comes from within.

- "The artist shouldn't be able to say exactly what he or she is doing. If you can say what you're doing, you're not producing art. Art bears the same relationship to culture that the dream does to mental stability. Your dream doesn't say what it's about, it just is. You can interpret it, and that's helpful, but the dream extends you beyond what you are. ... That's what art is. The artist who subsumes the artistic vision to the idealogical framework is putting the cart before the horse. It's actually a sin, I would say, it's like the ultimate in creative sin because you're harnessing the greater to the lesser."
- "There isn't a difference between free speech and thinking. And there isn't a difference between thinking and making tools. Free speech isn't the freedom to speak, it's the freedom to think. And you might say, "Well, why should people be able to think?" And the answer to that is because "They let stupid thoughts die instead of them." and that's Carl Pauper. So, you're condemning people to suffering and even death if you don't let them speak. Thought's a collective process. This conversation, this is THINKING what we've been doing. It's not like you had these thoughts, and I had these thoughts, and we're bringing them forward; we're creating thoughts on the fly, and refining them, and communicating them. You interfere with that, you interfere with the Logos. You stop Chaos from being turned into Order."

- "You could ask,
- "Are there more differences within groups or between them?"
- Now, the Post-Modern answer to that is "Between them". That's why you need diversity, by group. That's why you need different races, that's why you need different ethnicities and sexual preferences and all of that. Well, that's wrong. There's more difference within the groups than there is between them. You don't get diversity by crossing the groups, you get diversity by selecting across individuals. In fact, the idea that there is more differences between groups is actually _the fundamental racist idea_.
- Which is, let's say, well you're Asian. You're so different from me, that there is NO overlap between our groups. And you're also so different, and there's so _little_ difference between your group that now that I know that you're not me, you're not one of mine, I actually know what you're like. No. Technically, that is incorrect, that's wrong. That isn't how you get diversity."
