Fascist Cop Trope Draft

Some cops are [[CorruptCop corrupt]], some are [[CowboyBoy bad with rules]] and some are just [[RabidCop plain]] [[KillerCop dangerous]].

[[TheBadGuysAreCops This is all of them in their worst possible combination.]] A police officer who doesn't care about civil rights, who gives a crap about whats right and who's only interested in enforcing their power upon whoever is in their way.

This may show themselves in different ways;
* They are an unabashed BlackShirt joining a New Order wholeheartedly and crushing its enemies.
* They want to get rid of "The Enemy", be they criminals or dissidents, and be [[AlwaysGetsHisMan willing]] to do [[WellIntentionedExtremist everything]] to [[NotSowellIntendionedExtremist accomplish that]].
* They may have only joined the force for the power-high of the uniform and being able to lord it over the citizens they are supposed to serve and protect.

Often the Fascist Cop is a systemic issue, as their abuse of power and violation of people's rights is ignored by the systems whose checks are supposed to prevent this from happening and ultimately leading them to be either an antagonist or an outright villain to the protagonist.

Compare NobleBigotWithABadge about a policeman who may hold similar views to the Fascist Cop but will ultimately not steep to heeding them in their pursuit of duties. Also compare with an InspectorJavert who will do much of the same things but is concerned about a ''crime'' being committed while a Fascist Cop may not even need that to come down on someone.
