- --What is it?
- It's a pack of replacement maps with ways around large, unskippable cutscenes.
- This pack is meant for speedrunners, meaning that if a cutscene is skippable through glitches, it hasn't been removed.
- Also, if a cutscene is small, can provide utilities, or causes problems if skipped, I did not remove it.
- --What has been changed?
- d1_eli_01
- The airlock's doors have been removed
- The elevator activates by the player stepping on it
- All doors leading up to the scrapyard have been removed
- d1_eli_02
- The Gravity Gun has been placed on the ground where Alyx would usually give it to you
- Once you pick up the Gravity Gun, all doors leading to Ravenholm will be removed
- d1_town_05
- Both doors you wait at for Leon are unlocked and open by default
- d1_trainstation_01
- All doors that Barney must open have been removed
- d1_trainstation_04
- The combine have been removed
- All doors that have to be opened by NPCs have been removed
- The elevator activates by the player stepping on it
- d1_trainstation_05
- The door to the HEV suit can be opened by stepping in front of it
- The door to the teleporter will be opened once the suit is charged
- The teleporter will teleport you to the area after the usual teleport sequence
- d2_prison_06
- All doors/barriers that you have to wait for NPCs to open have been either removed, opened, or unlocked
- The elevator activates by the player stepping on it, though it takes around 5 seconds
- Sliding prison doors that you have to wait for Alyx to open can be opened by standing in front of them.
- d2_prison_07
- The door that leads down to the flare room has been removed; the holdout is skippable.
- d2_prison_08
- All doors leading up to the televator have been removed
- Going into the televator will teleport you to the next map; the holdout can be skipped
- d3_breen_01
- host_timescale is modified in select parts to speed up the cutscenes
- d3_c17_01
- Doors leading up to the next map have been removed
- d3_c17_07
- The door you must wait for Alyx to break is breakable by weapons or pressure
- The door leading outside is open/unlocked by default; the cutscene with Alyx is skippable
- d3_c17_13
- The object that Dog lifts in order to continue has no player clips; it can be walked through
- d3_citadel_01
- host_timescale is modified in select parts to speed up the pod ride
- d3_citadel_02
- host_timescale is modified in select parts to speed up the pod ride
- d3_citadel_05
- host_timescale is modified in select parts to speed up the pod ride
- Generally, with all maps, you will go to the location that you would usually go during/after the cutscene.
- --How to install
- Copy the maps folder from the Cutsceneless folder to your hl2 directory, replace all files.
- These files must be removed:

- maps/d1_trainstation_04_l_0.lmp
- maps/d1_trainstation_05_l_0.lmp

- maps/d3_c17_07_l_0.lmp
- maps/d3_c17_13_l_0.lmp
- maps/graphs/d1_eli_01.ain
- maps/graphs/d1_eli_02.ain
- maps/graphs/d1_town_05.ain
- maps/graphs/d1_trainstation_01.ain
- maps/graphs/d1_trainstation_04.ain
- maps/graphs/d1_trainstation_05.ain
