Also Known as 'Pursue and Destroy Wolfboy 3.0', as influenced by https://epicmafia.com/setup/445972 --one of my all time favourite setups that I remember from when I was a new player here--this was comped during Round 42 IIRC, back in Competitive Lobby. I didn't realize it until after I made the setup but it's exactly the same except Santa replaces Blacksmith. It really should balance Innovateur's setup; the Santa isn't committed to getting a vest and can always get a meaningful report.

WHY I THINK THIS IS BALANCED: https://epicmafia.com/setup/445972 was close. It was Innovateur's second attempt at rebalancing his original setup https://epicmafia.com/setup/444034 . With meaningful reports and the night-action PR not being committed to give a vest, it's really likely that PaDWB2.0 would even out into comp-playable range. My entry setup, https://epicmafia.com/setup/1277983 , does both of those things.We'll see how it goes. Crystals can only help the village really unless Bomb is revealed, however there's always the chance Mafia get revealed as well. This factor, along with the other two factors I mentioned in my above most, DEFINITELY assist in balancing the setup which I drew my ideas from by making it more townsided, and therefore I think my entry is definitely fun and competitive-worthy.

STRATEGIES:

TOWN: Start by scumhunting. Santa might want to claim if they have a Naughty report, it could take out the Sniper or Ninja--2 powerful mafia roles. I don't recommend fakeclaiming Santa unless you're the Bomb, but this is risky because Mafia might shoot outside of you to be safe anyway. Deputy can't really be ccd unless both Sniper and Deputy shot, so whether Deputy wants to wait to shoot is up to them.

Santa: There's two guns, don't give more I recommend giving a Crystal, since that only benefits the town (it can clear someone or reveal a Mafia, this HELPS TOWN A LOT! Bread is useless, vests aren't good either--you might be handing the mafia a vest and the Deputy would have to work around that--it isn't helpful. https://epicmafia.com/setup/445972 This setup is the same except instead of Santa, there's a Blacksmith, and the stats are 61/38 Mafia after 109 plays). If mafia have 2 guns on Day 1, they win the game right away by simply shooting two towns (unless one of them is Bomb), and Spy can communicate to the Sniper who their partners are. Dep should ask for claims before shooting to at least generate a CC or something--if Deputy shoots Bomb Day 1, it's also autoloss. Santa, You will always get MEANINGFUL reports, so it's up to you as to when you actually want to claim, as you might be shot. Also be aware of when town are trying to protect you.

DO NOT OUT SPY MESSAGES! Spy contacts by role, so if you reply to the Spy messages, then they will know who the PRs are! THIS IS VERY BAD FOR THE TOWN!!!!

MAFIA: Spy should immediately contact the Sniper and tell them who their partners are. They can also ask the Sniper to code if they want to know who they are. Sniper is ideally going for Santa or Deputy, so once you think you have it, shoot if you're confident. If you avoid the Bomb, then you did a good job. NINJA LEADS THE NIGHT KILLS IN CASE BOMB GETS HIT! The Ninja survives Bomb hits if they lead kills, and no mafia will die. Spy: If you want to message towns randomly to try and get them to out their roles to narrow down PRs, you can do this, but think about if town can meta as to who would actually attempt to do it before you try it. Definitely a nice element to this setup and a somewhat two-edged weapon for the mafia. If one of you other than the sniper has a gun, it's autowin by shooting two towns on Day 1 unless you hit the Bomb or unless one of you dies. Keep this in mind.....

Overall, this setup is (literally) a blast and it's based off one of my all-time favourites. I hope to see it more balanced hopefully.
