  17. Finding oneself to no longer require physical form is a very interesting thing. I mean, sure, having a body provided for free to offset things is handy--
  18.
  19. ...aaand the Plutonian just annihilated the city I started in five seconds ago, vaporizing the robot body. Nice, buddy. Real nice. Burned a one-up as soon as the jump started due to my nature as an infomorph. Well, alt-form from Madness it is - the city flattened around me, I reform a amorphous body wreathed in shadowy flames, my infomorph self now occupying a more familiar body. The Plutonian looking on in grim satisfaction and, dare I say it, amusement, I look up at him and put my fingers in my mouth to whistle, getting his attention.
  20.
  21. And then I lift a hand toward him, palm-up, and blast him with a nice fat particle beam.
  22.
  23. Sure, it isn't going to do any real damage to the guy. Sure, he just focused his anger on me because I dared to resist when he threw a temper tantrum. But it means this is the only city that's going to be annihilated without warning, I end up looking like some sort of wicked villain fighting the paragon of goodness to anyone who wasn't in a position to follow the initial destruction of the city, and... well, the fighting IS going to do a great deal of damage to the surrounding area, but he's a nascent reality warper and I am quite immune to such shenanigans, meaning the only thing that even scores my armor is the Superman Lite package that he's running around with.
  24.
  25. Oh, the fight goes on for a while. A great number of his former friends are collateral damage - most of them knew who was the true aggressor, and those that didn't found out particularly quickly - but I keep his focus on me for the most part, because while I'm not actually killing him, I'm making sure he CAN feel my attacks hitting him. Reality warper, meet magic, which is its own warping of reality.
  26.
  27. And things continue, until I pick something up a few hours away with precognition. A friend of his who is going to kill him and scatter his molecules across the multiverse, and DOHOHOHO, IT TURNS OUT BEING SCATTERED ACROSS THE MULTIVERSE MADE HIM THE INSPIRATION FOR SUPERMAN! WHAT A TWEEST!
  28.
  29. Yeah. No. That's bullshit, everyone KNOWS it's bullshit, and it's a fucking edgelord-grade insult to Superman to make this be the case.
  30.
  31. Instead, I lure him to the edge of the atmosphere over Antarctica, then ensure that a round from the Black Barrel is placed in his forehead. Which... burns another of my lives, because I did NOT expect that to let out a teraton-equivalent fireball, but at least the world is a whole lot less screwed than it otherwise might be.
  32.
  33. (And from there, it's 9.9 years of watching the world recover and helping it do so, with the Conspiracy's aid.)
