Born in the town of Maytroil, Zack grew up in a middle aged family. Having a brother and sister, with two cousins living out of town. By the age of 6, he was a lively boy that wanted to be like his father and attain the business his father had with Zack's mother. But this quickly changed soon thereafter. Three years later, when he turned 9 years old, his village was attacked and burned to the ground by a group of hired mercenaries. In a last minute attempt, the mayor of the town had transportation ready to leave for any survivors. A good portion of the town were able to get out before more deaths occurred. But, Zack's parents were not lucky enough. They were slaughtered upon escaping to the last transport, and Zack with his brother and sister were the only ones to escape the burning town...

Homeless and without parental support, Zack and his brother and sister parted ways. All were sent to either orphan homes, or foster families. Luckily enough, 3 families took them. Zack lived in a city known as Konka City, with a foster family of 4. For about 10 years of his life, he was able to get decent education and work. By the age of 21, he had to think about a career to stand out for. The foster family he lived with was falling behind on home payments and bills due to the foster parents not being able to keep their jobs, and the children being either too young, or currently unstable with their own work. Zack tried to take anything that was possible for him to keep that family, basically alive. 8 months later, after ruthless days of gaining enough financial support, he heard about the SHR through newscast and the paper. He then remembered his town and parents being decimated from the mercenaries. Who even hired the mercenaries? A big-money property landlord known as Baxton Sandlot. Maytroil was mere miles away from his mansion and lot. He wanted to take the small town as his own, but the mayor refused his proposals. Baxton got furious for being turned down, and it happened quite a bit. After snapping for one last time, he then hired a mercenary group known as the Fast Flames. He payed them handsomely to burn down the town and kill as much residents, along with the mayor, as possible. No life left sparred. Of course since it was business, and the payroll was huge, the Fast Flames did what they were ordered, and torched Maytroil. Zack only had a huge, painful grudge to get back at Baxton, and to avenge his family and the other residents of his beloved hometown. Within the following months, he enrolled into the SHR and began recruit training. Zack passed through and became a high ranked Shadow Hunter within a mere year of service. He met Brendan Striker during one random night where he was being pranced by other recruits. Zack stepped in to help him. Of course it got a bit messy but both stood out and survived. Right before one of the drill sergeants found the lot. The 4 recruits that rumbled against Brendan and Zack were, of course, guilty and received more training camp time. By then, Brendan and Zack began to take interest in each other and before then, became best buddies. Their time within the SHR, and outside it, were probably Zack's best times of his life.

At the age of 23, Zack and Brendan were the leaders of the Clan due to their old leader, Clyde, disappearing after a rescue attempt. Zack really wasn't fit for being a leader, nor was Brendan. But with help with Clyde's old team, they were able to stand out and become great leaders. Two years later, Zack received a notice from Maytroil's mayor. He was alive this whole time. But the letter wasn't an ordinary one, it was a plea for help! The mayor was targeted by a group of mercenaries out for his head, and needed help quickly. Zack responded and went to where the mayor was located. Along with a squad, and Brendan, Zack was able to reach the mayor in time to save his butt from being killed. After clearing out the mess of a few dead mercenaries, Zack inspected the back of one of them. A symbol was on it. It had a flamed wheel on it. It was, indeed, the Fast Flames that tried to go after the mayor. Clentching his fist, Zack requested the mayor to hire his squad to go to Baxton's mansion to end the madness. Brendan knew how he felt, and simply nodded in silence from the back. He knew Zack was ready after hearing the story from long ago. The mayor had little choice. So he hired the SHR to take out Baxton and his mercenary group. With much preparation, Zack and Brendan planned a tactical assault onto Baxton's estate. Baxton didn't know his merc group would be overwhelmed by Zack's squad, and tried to escape. His attempt failed. Zack caught him in the act, and later ended Baxton's life, as well as destroying the entire estate into nothing. His vengeance was over, and the people that died during Maytroil's destruction can finally rest in peace. The survivors of the town were pleased, and so was the mayor. With Baxton out of the picture, everyone can try to live a normal life. What also surprised them, is that Brendan did a last minute "snatch" and used Elysion to warp out Baxton's safe before the place was blown to ash. If someone had to get paid in respect, it was the mayor and his people. A memorial was made in memory of Maytroil and it's people within a month's pass...

Zack also had another job than being a Shadow Hunter. He was also a part time Monster Hunter. Where he grew to love axes. He has a collection of axes at his disposal from working for about two years. He also learned how to use other weaponry, but still prefers axes as his best. He always kept an axe or few with him for most situations. Including a sidearm that was made in his style. But his time turned into a more unexpected toll. During the events of Thanatos' awakening and downfall, Zack had to go through two lives. One where Vladof, Shadow of Brendan Striker, took him over with the Dark Times Stones. Brendan had little choice when Zack called out to strike him down. Zack was able to live again when the Dark Time Stones brought him back to life. With a price however. His body had to host a "Shadow Subspecies." The consequences were dire, but Brendan wanted Zack to have a life where death can't linger around him everywhere. It had benefits, and then downfalls. The Shadow was uncontrolled, so during random times, Zack lost control to the subspecies. It didn't do much of damage to Brendan or anyone he knew, since the subspecies was too unstable for Zack's body. So the trance only lasted for so long. It lead until Thanatos, inside Brendan, told them of a weapon Vladof is trying to obtain. "Project UCB." "UCB" stood for, Ultimate Creation Blade. It was known as the Jinkuriki. Thanatos created it to outmatch the Apocalypse in terms of anything. Whatever the terms, Vladof was to never get his hands on it. But later along the line... Vladof was able to awaken the blade... During the time of the awakening, Vladof used the Jinkuriki to its potential. He was more feared than ever. But there was something wrong. After 2 months with it, the blade barely responded to him. One encounter, Thanatos explained that he made it to only respond to the "chosen." Which was basically himself, and anyone to rule the Chaoslord Generation. When Thanatos was able to create a soul form of himself, he took the blade into his own hands. For some reason, it mostly listened. The aura on the Jinkuriki was barely seen. But... Something was amiss. When Thanatos moved the blade onto Zack, the aura got more focused... The idea struck Thanatos immediately. From that point, Vladof attacked Thanatos and threw him off guard. Brendan went in to help, but Vladof's crew got in the way. It was an all out brawl. But it wasn't all that good... Vladof threw off the blade from Thanatos' hands. Zack was the only free person to go for it. Thanatos shouted to him to not grab it at all, but he was too late... When Zack grabbed the Jinkuriki, he was surrounded by the aura. Laughter ensued him before experiencing immense pain. The Jinkuriki responded to the Subspecies, and tore it out of Zack. Within the instant... Everyone now sees the newest threat to life. The Shadow Subspecies was come to known as, "Xepher." Xepher, now keeper of the Ultimate Creation Blade, came into power and brought down everyone at the scene. He saw Shadows as inferior beings, and stepped over Vladof. Vladof wasn't pleased in hearing this, nor was Thanatos. But Xepher defeated them easily, and escaped. Brendan and Vladof were forced to ally with each other to bring down the Subspecies. This lasted half a year before raiding on his hidden complex within the Time Stream. In one final attempt, Zack sacrificed himself to kill Xepher and banish him from the face of existence. The plan worked, but Zack was left behind in the explosion. The only thing that survived was his giant axe. A memorial was made upon the cliff-side where everyone escaped to from the Time Stream a few days later. It was also the time were Vladof had... "Second thoughts..."

Within the next year, after the death of Zack and the subspecies Xepher, Brendan retained as the only leader of the SHR. He wished Zack was still alive after that raid. What he didn't know, was that thought was to be a reality still. One day, when he called a specific repair shop to fix some of his clan's vehicles, he saw a mechanic that looked exactly like Zack. Shocked and confused, he called out the man. The man had no idea who Brendan was. But after digging through the records, the man had the exact name as Zack Fuzoka. This lead to a theory that Zack survived the sacrifice somehow, but lost his memory in the process. After a week of sorting it out, Brendan had one solution to bring Zack to his senses. He used the Memory Melody he learned from three years ago on Zack's amnesia. It eventually worked and Zack remembered everything. But Zack didn't remember how he survived the blast. Time will only tell of what really happened. Zack parted from the mechanic's shop and back into his normal place as Lieutenant Commander of the Shadow Hunters for years to come.
