* PERSONALITY:
Jinseo is an extremely peace-loving girl that hates any form of conflict and will always try her best to stop it from happening even though she never knows how to.
Hence, Jinseo doesn’t stand by her decisions/beliefs very often and will often give them up once she notices that having that belief would cause a fight/someone to get upset.
She is easily flustered and can be quite clumsy, stumbling on her words and tripping over herself when embarrassed.
She easily softens for anything/anyone as long as she finds a reason to care for it and sympathises with everyone no matter their background or what they stand for. However, if their being threatens the lives of those she holds dear or her own, she will start questioning if she can truly trust the other party and try her best to switch them on to the right path but in the worst cases, eliminate the threat.
Jinseo treats everything and everyone with utmost care, as if everyone were a precious piece of fragile glass. She is always worried about others feeling sad or worried and is pretty decent in reading how others feel, doing anything in her power to help them/calm them down, always looking for solutions to satisfy everyone.
Jinseo tries to to portray a calming front so that everyone feels comforted by her presence, however, she is actually easily anxious and starts to think very pessimistically when met with a problem.
Because of how Jinseo is always giving in to others, she is also very trusting to everyone and hence, gets trampled on a lot as she is unsure as to where her loyalties stand and does not trust herself enough to make her own decisions, trusting anybody who seems like a good leader and following their orders.
She is also relatively conservative and does not make friends very easily because of that. She does not really like taking the first step to make friends and gets very uncomfortable taking about anything indecent.
She is very hardworking and will put in her 110% in anything she is assigned to do. She doesn’t like leaving work half done and is always seeking for more knowledge to keep her edge above others.

* BACKGROUND:
In Real Life -
Jinseo was born as the middle child in Daegu and hence, always got everything handed down to her and was expected to do as well as her older sister, Seohyun, and set a good example for her younger brother, Jihyun.
Even so, Jinseo never once complained as she was pampered by her doting sister and she could never bring herself to say no to Jihyun’s “innocent” face. Moreover, her Father was the only parent working as her Mother was a homemaker. Hence, Jinseo grew up in an extremely caring and healthy home environment.
This resulted in Jinseo being a little cautious about herself and is fearful of getting herself hurt physically as well as mentally, not wanting to stress her family out too much over her wellbeing.
As a child, Jinseo was like any other kid, always smiling, attracting many friends to her including her LI, her next door neighbour who she happened to have a crush on as they grew older.
As time went past, Jinseo’s attraction to her LI only grew stronger and anything regarding this, Jinseo was only able to share with her closest friend, Hecate.
However, when they finally turned 15, another girl beat Jinseo at confessing to her LI and the two started going out with each other.
Because of how Jinseo did not want to break up such a happy couple, she started distancing herself from her LI despite having her heart shattered beyond repair, smiling through the pain of watching the two lovebirds fall even deeper in love.

In her Nightmare -
Jinseo was born as an only child into a family of strong royal mages that were extremely loyal and pretty close to the royal family of Laurencia.
Having grown up in such a position, there was a lot of pressure put on her to live up to her family name even though nothing was directly said to her.
As an innocent child, Jinseo has never thought much about her parents’ love and guidance in teaching her the ways of a royal mage, as well as the warmth of her grandparents. This allowed Jinseo to grow up in a happy and healthy environment that helped shaped her beliefs as well as her magical abilities.
However, as she grew older, Jinseo started to realise that the reason why she was brought up in such a controlled environment was because her family had hoped for her to be taught to love her job as a royal mage and wanted her to learn to live up to the position she would soon have to fill up.
Although she wasn’t upset about this, Jinseo felt even more pressure placed on her abilities, causing her to work as hard as she could so that she wouldn’t waste the efforts of those around her and disappoint them.

* WHAT DOES SHE DO DURING THE DAY:
In the day, Jinseo goes to school where she meets Hecate, her LI and his lover.
She stays in school for about half a day before heading to a public library to study and neaten the notes from her lessons that day, sometimes grabbing a small bite on the way there, having lunch with Hecate or skipping lunch all together as she’s usually too shy to ask for company.
After studying for a good few hours, Jinseo then heads home for dinner with her family and takes the rest of her time to relax and enjoy novels until bedtime.

* WHAT DOES SHE DO BEFORE SLEEPING:
Jinseo will always read before going to bed but as her nightmares get worse, she finds herself trying to force herself to keep awake for even just a few more minutes by using her phone/laptop under the covers after lights out even though she usually just ends up nodding off to sleep anyways, leaving her with a gadget with 0% battery power the next morning.

* DESCRIBE HER FIRST NIGHTMARE AT TEN YEARS OLD:
Jinseo first found herself in her dream spinning around on a nice green lawn, under the shade of a big oak tree. She flops down on her back and allows her eyes to gently flutter shut as she soaked up the warmth of the midday sun and breathed in the smells of freshly lawned grass.
As her breathing slows, she hears her Mother call out to her, standing on a stone path just behind Jinseo with a grumpy looking girl standing next to her.
As Jinseo pushes herself up and rushes over, she gets a good look at the girl and suddenly feels weak in comparison to her in a split second. The girl had the looks of a leader that would not budge and would always get her way.
As Jinseo’s Mother introduced her to Nyx, Nyx started reading Jinseo and at that moment, Jinseo felt like an open book and was uneasy. She tried to smile through her anxiety and yet, she somehow knew that Nyx could read through that as she smirked knowingly at her as if trying to say “I know you too well. Stop fighting against me and fight FOR me.”
Not knowing what to do or how to react to her, Jinseo hence started following this almighty leader around everywhere and idolised Nyx as a powerful leader and mage.

* WHAT DOES SHE USUALLY DO DURING THE NIGHTMARES:
Once she enters her nightmare, Jinseo does not waste a single second of her time and starts working immediately.
She always starts by completing the duties/work given to her by Nyx and then starts working on ways to kill Hecate without causing too much pain to her and methods that would let her feel less guilty about having to kill her Best Friend.
She probably also gets distracted by watching/trying to talk to Jisung or trying to help the their characters in the process of completing each task and hence isn’t always very productive, sometimes even forgetting what she had set out to do before getting distracted.

P O I S O N

* LI’S PERSONALTY:
He is known to be extremely bubbly and friendly, always smiling and spreading joy to everyone. (I miss 2017 Dream:’))
He is very playful and can be a little mischievous sometimes, pulling pranks on others but always ensures that he never goes too far with his pranks/jokes.
He is easily excitable and gets distracted very easily and finds focusing on one thing pretty hard, always wanting to move around to get rid of all that access energy. Hence, he can also be quite hot-headed and thinks more with his emotions than with his brain that is always flooded with new ideas.
Despite all this, he is very kind and considerate to those who needs special attention (e.g. elderly, animals, people that are being bullied etc.), never hesitating before going forward to help them out.
However, he can be quite different when placed in serious situations, turning from his usual bubbly self to a more serious, competitive and witty/cunning self where he is able to act well after reading the situation well. (we’RE SO YOUNG WE’RE SO FREAKY)
When he is placed in a serious situation, he is somehow then able to transfer all his usually energy into concentrating on that one thing, which is usually combat/fighting.
Nonetheless, he is very confident in his own abilities in both situations and gets back up from failures very quickly. He can be quite flirty in both states as well and usually goes with the flow and does what others ask/recommend him to do without any complaint.

LI’S BACKGROUND:
In Real Life -
He was born as the youngest child in a loving family that isn’t very strict with him and usually just lets him do anything he wants as long as he doesn’t skip school, become a delinquent or becomes a murderer.
With an older sister, Yeseul, whom was the only one that ever lectured him when she found his behaviour unacceptable. However, she too rarely did this as she was too doting and pampered him as much as the next family member.
Because of this, he was able to live a happy childhood with few restrictions, causing him to grow up into an extremely friendly and wild person, making friends with almost anyone.

In the Nightmare -
He was brought up as an only child of a general in Laurencia’s army. However, despite having relatively strict parents, he had always followed his heart anyways and was able to use up a lot of his access energy into combat, hence he never really had the chance to rebel against his parents anyways.
Since he grew up in an environment full of competition and combat, this helped in shaping his competitive nature as well as his combat abilities, soon making him one of the best fighters in the army despite his age.
With the support of his general of a Father, he was able to learn from his mistakes, picking himself up after each failure and striving to become a better warrior. This relationship between Father and Son also allowed them to grow very close.
But of course, training did get very taxing on his mental and physical health sometimes. This made him very close to his Mother too as she was always the kind, calming winds to his rocky, chaotic life, allowing him to rest in her stability every time he needed someone to lean on.

* HOW DOES SHE MEET HER LI:
The two have known each other since they can remember in the nightmare since their families were of the same status and they were born around the same time.
Therefore, they would sometimes play with each other when they were younger but could not spend as much time together as they used to when more responsibilities started weighing down on them as they grew older. Thankfully, they still remained good friends and would talk to each other whenever the opportunity arose.

* HOW DOES HE FEEL ABOUT HER:
Sees Jinseo as a good Friend and respects her abilities and personality. He finds her very easy to tease and loves teasing her especially because of how easily flustered she is around him.
The things he knows about her doesn’t really change as their relationship deepens/time passes because of how they’d known each other since young and he’d watched her grow up along with him.
However, he does feel more intimate when around her as they go from being more than friends and starts to see a lot more of her beauty that he had never noticed before, both in the nightmare and in real life.

* HOW DOES SHE FEEL ABOUT HIM:
Jinseo has always had a crush for him because of his amazing personality and looks. She finds his confidence very commendable and loves how he is everything that she isn’t.
Hence, Jinseo always gets very flustered and awkward when around him, both in real life and in her dream.
As their relationship goes past the level of mere friendship, Jinseo starts seeing a calmer and more reliable side of him that is very rarely seen, causing her to fall even deeper in love with him.

* MISC. FACTS:
- They used to walk to school together until he got a Girlfriend and Jinseo was trying to get rid of her feelings for him
- Used to study/tutor each other
- He can’t cook and she can barely operate a blender
- Although he’s pretty playful, Jinseo’s LI probably does pretty well in school
- He’s a night owl while she’s an early worm that just hates moving about in the morning

* SOME SCENES:
- Jinseo meeting her LI in almost every nightmare and never gets to talk to him without getting flustered
- Her LI notices how stressed out she’s getting as the nightmares get worse and takes her to stroll around the palace, watching the guards exercise, enjoying the breeze on the highest tower of the palace etc.
- The two always trying to ask each other about why they’re in each other’s dreams but can never find the courage to
- Jinseo and her LI start meeting on the highest tower of the palace to take a break from everything in general
- Jinseo freaking out when/every time her LI has to leave Laurencia to fight against Aurelia and always tries to cast protection spells over him before he leaves even though she knows that Laurencia always wins

* HOW DOES SHE FEEL ABOUT:
01. HERA -
Sees her as a kind leader but is never able to say that out loud because of her position and does not fully trust her because of what she had been told about Aurelia from a young age.

02. HESTIA -
Loves her a lot and sees her as an elder sister to her. Apart from Hecate and her LI, is really close to Hestia because of her amazing personality and kindness.

03. NYX -
Despite trusting her Queen very much and seeing as her leader, Jinseo is very fearful of Nyx and pretty much does everything out of fear of her.

04. DEMETER -
Does not know much about her but respects her personality and attitude.

05. CIRCE -
Is in awe of her abilities and wishes to become a mage as powerful as she is as well as get the same amount of affection she gets from Hera from Nyx. However, just like all the other people of Laurencia, she questions how good she truly is because of the fake news on Aurelia that’s spread around Laurencia.

06. ATHENA -
Finds her extremely talented and looks up to her, trusting her 100% even though Nyx has told her time and time again to be careful of Athena.

07. APHRODITE -
Is envious of her good looks yet loves her personality. Finds her a good person to talk to and enjoys chatting with her and sometimes consults her regarding boy trouble.

08. HEBE -
Finds her extremely easy to talk to and enjoys every moment she gets with her. Thinks that she’s extremely precious yet under appreciated and sometimes even finds herself doing that just because that’s “the norm” for her, which she finds very sad.

09. ARTEMIS -
Is a little intimidated by her combat skills but finds her loyalty towards Aurelia questionable as she’s caught glimpses of her near Nyx’s office.

10. EUPHROSYNE -
Pities yet respects her attitude towards life. Although she rarely gets to meet her, she always smiles whenever she sees her as her positive vibes are extremely contagious.

11. ERIS -
Does not know much about her but finds her pretty intimidating although she can sort of tell that Eris probably hides a lot of her pain and just needs a bit of love.

12. NIKE -
Does not really know her but likes her personality and is envious of her strengths and abilities as well as the affection and attention she gets from Hera.

13. IRIS -
Finds her absolutely adorable and precious, always lighting up whenever the two meet because of how cheerful Iris is. Is also very intrigued by her ability to look into everyone’s nightmares and sometimes wishes that she could ask Iris about hers although she is always too shy to.

14. NEMESIS -
Does not really like her attitude and personality and is pretty scared of her but does not show it because of how she is of a higher status than her and tries her best to get on her good side. Sometimes questions her loyalty to Laurencia.

15. PERSEPHONE -
Does not know much about her apart from how she was sent from Aurelia as a peace treaty and pities her because of how harsh Nyx treated her, selling her off to the underworld. However, because of her position, Jinseo was only able to stand by the side lines and watch as Nyx decided to sell her off.

17. HECATE -
Loves her from the moon and back and really treasures her as a friend, trusting her as much as family. However, because of how they are supposed to be enemies in their dream, Jinseo is fearful of what Hecate would choose to do and the lengths she would have to go to for her own sake too.

18. SELENA -
Does no know much about her but when she gets the chance to, is amazed at how mature she is despite them being around the same age as her and loves her personality which causes Jinseo to trust her more than most.
When/If she realises that Selena is trying to find peace between both Kingdoms, she secretly tries/wishes to help her as it would mean that there would finally be no conflict between the two nations and her LI would no longer have to risk his life by fighting alongside the rest of Laurencia’s soldiers.

19. OTHER LI’S
Is pretty soft for all of them and can develop tiny crushes on them because of how big of a romantic she is, but takes a little more time to trust those from Aurelia because of the things she was taught about them growing up.

20. OTHER SLOTS
Pretty much likes everyone but does question where their loyalties truly lie at times. Wishes that they’d all end up getting their happy endings nonetheless.
