- <h1>High Bitrate Video Deployer</h1>
- <p>
- This script may be used to access hidden video quality settings in
- Lumix GX9 camera. Make sure to activate the cameras WIFI and connect it to your device
- before proceeding. Always open the commands in a new tab, so you keep access to this page!
- </p>
- <p>
- <b>Use at your own risk.</b><br>All changes should be revertable.<br>Tested on FW 1.5.
- </p>
- <hr>
- <h2>1. Handshake & Connect</h2>
- <p>
- First we need to establish a connection by sending a handshake and a connection command
- to the camera. Sequentially execute the <b class="handshake">orange</b> commands.
- </p>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=accctrl&type=req_acc&value=4D454930-0100-1000-8001-020000025AD6&value2=iPhone" class="handshake"><b>cmd</b> send handshake part 1</a>
- <br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=accctrl&type=req_acc&value=4D454930-0100-1000-8001-020000025AD6&value2=iPhone" class="handshake"><b>cmd</b> send handshake part 2</a>
- <br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=camcmd&value=recmode" class="handshake"><b>cmd</b> establish connection</a>
- <br>
- <p>
- The camera might tell you that it is not connected to the app. Which is no problem as long
- you get no "err" messages returned.
- </p>
- <hr>
- <h2>2. Deploy Video Setting</h2>
- <p>
- Depending on the wanted setting the following cmds are available.
- If your camera is set to PAL mode (25p,50p modes) use the <b class="pal">blue</b> commands, if
- it set to NTSC mode (30p,60p modes) use the <b class="ntsc">green</b> commands.
- </p>
- <p>
- Recording seems stable up to 100mbps. File analysis showed that the 100mbps even achieves a higher actual bitrate
- when compared to the 200mbps setting (Note: targeted bitrate and achieved bitrate are usually different).
- </p>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_25p_100mbps_4k" class="pal"><b>cmd</b> set mov_25p_100mbps_4k</a><br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_50p_50mbps" class="pal"><b>cmd</b> set mov_50p_50mbps</a><br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_50p_100mbps" class="pal"><b>cmd</b> set mov_50p_100mbps</a><br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_50p_200mbps" class="pal"><b>cmd</b> set mov_50p_200mbps</a><br>
- <p></p>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_24p_100mbps_4k" class="ntsc"><b>cmd</b> set mov_24p_100mbps_4k</a><br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_60p_50mbps" class="ntsc"><b>cmd</b> set mov_60p_50mbps</a><br>
- <a href="http://192.168.54.1:80/cam.cgi?mode=setsetting&type=videoquality&value=mov_60p_100mbps" class="ntsc"><b>cmd</b> set mov_60p_100mbps</a><br>

- <p>
- If the settings are properly transmitted, the camera will respond with "ok".
- Since it does not officially support the *.mov format, it won't show a symbol
- for the current video quality (i.e. MP4_4k_30p).
- </p>
- <br>
- <hr>
- <h2>3. Save & Revert</h2>
- <p>
- Save the current setting to a custom mode (C1,C2 or C3) in camera to keep
- the video quality set. Simply enter the Q-Menu on camera an touch a standart video quality,
- if you want to revert to a standart setting. You will need this script or a custom mode to return to the hidden video qualities.
