- Cursed Anon back at it again this time with Part 2 of "Two Worlds Collide." Loved the feedback I got for part 1 so here's part 2. Enjoy
- -flashback ends-
- >Charlie stands up and becomes somewhat frustrated.
- >Although more than a week has already gone past since the punishment, Charlie still feels a bit hurt.
- >Charlie looks back at the sky and thinks about the humans again.
- >'Not all of them are that bad. I know that the sinners down here used to be human and it meant that they lived a human life.'
- >'Even if all humans are sinners, I know that everyone has a side of good.'
- >Charlie looks down and notices a rare occurence in Hell.
- >She witnesses a beetle demon giving a small, horned demon part of his sandwich.
- >She sees both of them were starving but despite that, the beetle still shares the sandwich instead of eating it all by himself.
- >The horned demon says "thanks bud" and gives his companion a hug.
- >Charlie can sense that they're good friends by how the beetle was trying to feed his friend.
- >It shows that if sinners can understand concepts like friendship, then humans can understand it too.
- Cont.
- -
- >Charlie starts feeling a sense of hope and determination. She knows that even a small act like this proves that not all human-turned-demons are horrible people.
- >Charlie smiles and quietly sings a part of "Inside Of Every Demon Is A Rainbow."
- >She walks to the door and listens for anybody walking around.
- >She softly smiles and thinks to herself
- >'Sorry mom and dad but it I can't listen to you for this time. I'm going to meet the humans whether anyone likes it or not.'
- >She doesn't hear anybody and gets out of her room.
- >Charlie tries to recall the royal library and then her face pales even more.
- >She remembers that mom had confiscated the books and says she hidden them so Charlie can't go to the mortal world.
- >Charlie thinks to herself where the books could be at.
- >A lightbulb forms and Charlie becomes more determined than ever.
- >Her heart starts pounding in her chest as she starts walking down the corridors.
- >'It has to be in dad's office. I know he has a bookshelf in there with some important stuff.'
- >As Charlie finally finds the door to the office, she carefully looks at her surroundings.
- Cont.
- -
- >Seeing as nobody is there, she uses her powers to try to unlock the door as she knows her dad always likes to lock it.
- >Charlie concentrates and uses her dark magic she was learning since she was 700 yeard old.
- >It took around 10 minutes but Charlie managed to unlock the door to get in.
- >Just as she suspected, she sees the books stacked on the decorated, mahogany desk.
- >Charlie quickly grabs the books and runs back to her room.
- >As she was going to go back, she hears some chattering around the corner.
- >She quickly hides and carefully listens to what the servants were talking about.
- "Honestly, it's a bit laughable that the king of Hell has such a weak, do-gooder of an heir."
- "Ironic isn't it. Your majesty rebelled against Heaven to create a reign of evil but his heir is now rebelling against him to be on the path of 'good.'"
- "That little spoiled brat is such a weak, sheltered demon that they might as well make a new 'Anti-Christ' to take her place as the next ruler of Hell. There's still time for that to happen.
- -
- >Charlie frowns and starts feeling a little angry after hearing this.
- >It wasn't the first time the servants had gossiped about her but it still hurts.
- >As the servants went downstairs to tend to their responsibilities, Charlie runs and shuts the door behind her.
- >'This is it. I can't believe I'm actually doing this ...'
- >Charlie puts the books on a drawer and looks at herself in the mirror.
- >'Right. If I'm going to meet them, I have to look like a human. Time to use what I learned in my shape-shifting lessons.'
- >As Charlie closes her eyes and visualizes herself as a human, changes started happening slowly.
- >The process still felt a bit weird to her but Charlie knows it would help her later.
- >As the white noise in her ear stops, Charlie slowly opens her eyes.
- -
- >Charlie became shocked at what she saw in her reflection.
- >'So this is what I would look like as a mortal.'
- >Charlie starts analyzing her reflection and touches the mirror.
- >There, stood a 5'4 young woman in her 20s. She had platinum blonde, silky hair. Her skin was like that of a porcelain doll she once had as a little girl.
- >Her eyes were a dark brown that contrasted with her appearance. She was still as petite as ever for human standards.
- >Overall, she was like a blooming daisy and could be considered a charming, southern belle.
- >Charlie overall didn't change much except for height and few facial features. In her demon form and human form, she was still as beautiful as ever.
- >Thankfully, Charlie's outfit also shrunk diwn to her new size.
- >After looking at her new form for a few minutes, she remembered she had to do the ritual.
- >'Right, I have all I need in my room already. Let's do this!'
- End of Part 2. Hope y'all are enjoying it so far.
