  13. - (New!) Slinger burst: Short range shot towards the ground, higher flinching capability
  14. - Can continue using items when accidentally launched into the air during use
  15. - Can aim and fire the slinger while unsheathed (L2 to aim)
  16. - Can combo a Slinger Burst from certain moves, any direction possible (L2 to fire)
  17. ↳ continue your combo after shot
  18. - Clutch Claw: Aim with L2, fire the claw with O. Zips to the monster's body and you can follow up with:
  19. ↳ Weapon Attack with △. Wounds the body part you are attacking, and may drop slinger ammo. Wounded parts turn into weakspots
  20. ↳ Claw Attack with O. When done on the head, it forces the monster to turn its body. Doesn't work in rage. Use this three times in a row in one clutch to immediately put monster in rage
  21. ↳ Flinch shot with R2. Unloads all your slinger ammo. When done on the head, it sends the monster tumbling towards the direction it is facing. You can send monster tumbling to hit a wall, fall off a drop, or into a trap. Doesn't work in rage
  22. ↳ Having a monster hit a wall will increase damage taken on wounded spots, on top of taking damage from hitting the wall
