[14:50] <Kilarra> -Session 37-
[14:51] <Kilarra> After Kaerishiel's rather rude departure, the party is left to their own devices for the rest of the day. Late in the afternoon, but not yet night, the party has some time on their hands.
[14:54] * Kilarra huffs at Kaerishiel, then sticks her tongue out at him and mumbles something in abyssal.
[14:56] <@Aluthyra> Tognik doesn't care too much, as he is eager to explore the village. He nudges Kjell. "Still up for looking around?"
[14:57] <Kilarra> Kjell nods, "It would be an interesting experience to say the least."
[14:58] <@Aluthyra> Tognik nods. "Great." He walks over to grab another fruit, taking a bite as he moves back to the doorway. "Then are you ready to go?"
[14:59] <Kilarra> Kjell nods, "I don't think I have need of too much in the way of preparation, it's not a very large settlement after all." He makes sure his swords are properly sheathed before following Tognik out
[15:00] * Kilarra looks to Aluthyra, "So... did you want to go explore too, or did you want to talk?"
[15:01] * Aluthyra shrugs. "I am fine with either. If you wish to speak more... then I would be happy to, but if you think you've said enough for today, then I would be glad to take a look around."
[15:03] * Kilarra sighs, "Well, if I'm completely honest, there's a couple things I want to ask, and it wouldn't be fair not to let you ask a couple things of me in return." She shrugs, "This place is kind of a warzone, so we might not have many other opportunities before the fighting starts up, especially considering the big tactical advantage we just dumped at their feet."
[15:07] * Aluthyra nods. "Of course." She gestures back to the resting area, waving her hand as she enters and sits upon a mat. "Come, and ask whatever you'd like."
[15:09] * Kilarra smiles and sits down, taking a deep breath, "So, I have to know, and I'm asking seriously this time... would you have sex with me? Not immediately, just... would you actually be interested in doing that, with me?"
[15:10] * Aluthyra blushes. She pauses for a moment, then nods. "If we were to be... in that sort of relationship in the future, yes." She smiles. "I would."
[15:14] * Kilarra smiles, not blushing, but very glad to see Aluthyra actually didn't find her repulsive. "So, since I know you're interested, tell me... what is it about me you actually find appealing?" She was really curious to know. It was all well and good to be able to pick up lays at a Brothel, but beyond that this was new territory for her.
[15:19] * Aluthyra smiles back, looking Kilarra in the eyes. "For one, your smile. When you are actually happy... it is nice to see, and it is a nice change of pace." She chuckles. Since Kilarra is asking, and she can tell no lie... "I admit that I have found my eyes straying to your rear during our travels as well." She smirks. "And more recently... I find it cute that your hooves are so ticklish."
[15:21] * Kilarra does a blush a bit at that, "They're sensative... especially to licking." She smiles though, glancing at her tailside. "They do make me a good sprinter though, which is probably why my legs and rear are in such good shape." She looks down at her chest, "Still kinda jealous of Shorafa's bust though."
[15:22] * Kilarra looks up, "Okay, so I've asked my questions, so you can ask yours now." Her smiles does show off her needle-like teeth, but makes her face appear softer.
[15:26] * Aluthyra nods. "I know this may be a sensitive topic so... ignore it if you wish, but... why is it that you are so ashamed of your heritage?"
[15:30] * Kilarra sighs, "Figured that was coming. Well, devils are repulsive creatures, and the fact that I have one for an ancestor means I often get thrown in with their lot by those who don't know better. Like you said, I am not my heritage, but most people can't see that when they're staring at my horns or teeth or tail or hooves." She looks herself over, "Some tieflings are less pronounced, but the dash of fiendish blood in me seems to have
[15:31] <Kilarra> -but the dash of fiendish blood in me seems ot have been annoyingly potent."
[15:32] * Aluthyra nods. "And your parents, where they tieflings as well?"
[15:35] * Kilarra frowns, "My mother was." She gnashes her teeth a bit at the mention of her mother.
[15:36] * Aluthyra quirks her head, noting the gnashing of teeth. "I take it you were not close?"
[15:37] * Kilarra grits her teeth, "That's not a story I want to share all the details of right now. She was a necromancer."
[15:39] * Aluthyra blinks. "I... see. I am sorry to have brought it up." She nods. "Thank you for answering my questions. Do you have any more for me?"
[15:44] * Kilarra looks to the taller, almost saintly woman, "Just one. You ever even kissed anyone before?"
[15:48] * Aluthyra chuckles, scratching her head shyly. "Actually, no. It is not that I did not have the desire... I have just never taken the opportunity..." Alu looks away. She's a bit timid when it comes to the desires of her body, having never acted on them before, and it shows.
[15:50] * Kilarra smirks, and has no such timidity. She reaches up and pulls Aluthyra into a quick smooch. She avoid using any of the more clever tongue tricks she knows for the sake of not completely frying the aasimar's brain.
[15:53] * Kilarra lets Aluthyra go after a few moments, "There, that fixes that." She winks, "And that was about as tame as I know how to be."
[15:55] * Aluthyra turns red, her pale complexion tinted brightly. She... enjoyed that, thoroughly. She closes her eyes as her soft lips meet Kilarra's once again as she leans back in, a subtle desire causing her to hold the kiss, if only for another moment. Just as Aluthyra's sweet scent, her lips taste of an equal sweetness, felt in the kiss.
[15:57] * Kilarra licks her lips, savouring the other woman's taste, "Damn... why didn't you tell me you tasted as good as you smelled. I would have pounced on you a lot sooner." She grins mischeviously, "I cannot wait to see what the rest of you tastes like." She leaves the teasing at that, stanging up and stretching.
[15:59] * Aluthyra opens her eyes, still blushing, and stands. "Yes, well... when the time comes."
[15:59] * Kilarra smirks and goes to check on the horses. She's giddy inside, but manages to keep it mostly contained.
[16:00] <Kilarra> Kjell and Tognik's exploration of the camp is largely inconsequential. Of the elves that live here, only a few remain with the others scouting, skirmishing or otherwise taking care of the duties of a settlement on the edge of war. The scenery is most magnificent though.
[16:01] * Aluthyra sits back down, taking a deep breath as she begins her meditation.
[16:01] <Kilarra> Kjell makes some small talk with the elves before returning to their assigned lodge.
[16:02] <@Aluthyra> Tognik smiles widely, looking at the architecture of the village, taking in all of the sights and sounds. He's glad to get some sightseeing out of the way, and returns to the lodge as night begins to fall.
[16:04] <Kilarra> As night begins to fall, some elves come by with a dinner of fire roasted vegetables, bread, and wine. Noticably, no one here seems to eat meat.
[16:07] * Kilarra slips back inside and seats herself at the table, enjoying the aroma of the meal.
[16:08] * Aluthyra thanks the elves, taking a small portion for herself. She doesn't take any wine, preferring the water of her waterskin.
[16:09] * Aluthyra sits next to Kilarra, smiling as she begins to eat.
[16:10] <@Aluthyra> Tognik takes a large portion, at least for his size, and frowns as he reaches the table. He calls to Kjell, "Mind helping me up?" He huffs. It's like he's a child.
[16:11] <Kilarra> Kjell seems slightly disappointed at the lack of meat, but considering his earlier complaints about the tightness of his armour, perhaps eating a little lighter would help.
[16:11] * Kilarra smirks knowingly at Aluthyra and, beneath the table, wraps her tail around one of the Aasimar's legs.
[16:16] * Aluthyra blushes as Kilarra's tail wraps around her. It's an odd feeling, but... nice.
[16:16] * Kilarra strikes up a bit of conversation, "So, odds are, in spite of what stuck-up thinks, we're probably going to be participating in battle coming up. Anything in particular you want me to have prepared?"
[16:19] * Aluthyra nods. "Perhaps something to create light? Since we fought that shade, and it seemed useful... we may have need of it once again."
[16:19] * Kilarra nods, "Got it."
[16:20] <Kilarra> Kjell notes, "Although we were fortunate enough thus far not to have had it used on us, we did find a number of poison vials amidst the drow's posessions."
[16:20] <@Aluthyra> Tognik adds, "Don't worry about anything to read languages. I have it covered."
[16:20] * Kilarra ponders that a moment, "I think I can cover that."
[16:24] * Kilarra strokes Aluthyra's leg a bit before removing her tail, settling in to get some eating done while her allies considered other possible things they might need from her. She was the only one with diving casting among their group, although she suspected the elves might have a few healers of their own.
[16:27] * Aluthyra finishes her small portion, leaving the table for the resting area. She falls asleep after privately changing out of her garments and slipping into her bedroll.
[16:28] * Aluthyra figures the more rest, the better, if they are to fight soon.
[16:31] <Kilarra> There are no bedrolls, only the mats. Elves do not sleep, they only meditate. Unless the party members brought their own
[16:31] * Aluthyra has a bedroll, and is sleeping on it.
[16:35] <@Aluthyra> Tognik makes his way to the resting area as well, after he finishes his meal-- and struggles off of the tall chair.
[16:36] <Kilarra> KJell helps Tognik down, then heads over to the resting room.
[16:36] * Kilarra is the last to come over to the resting room, giving a bit more thought to preparations.
[16:38] <Kilarra> In the morning, the party can awake to find that a breakfast of fresh fruits and bread has been provided for them by the elves.
[16:41] * Aluthyra wakes and quickly dresses into a clean outfit, heading out of the room before Kilarra begins her morning preparations. She waits for the others, munching on fruit.
[16:42] <Kilarra> Kjell also leaves quickly, bringing his spellbook to the table to study while he eats.
[16:42] * Kilarra begins her preparations, but in light of being a guest at someone elses place, she keeps it a little on the modest side.
[16:44] <@Aluthyra> Tognik also left quickly to eat and avoid Kilarra's prep time.
[16:46] * Kilarra finishes up and joins the rest of the party, looking satisfied.
[16:47] * Aluthyra smiles to Kilarra as she enters, still finishing up her fruit.
[16:47] <Kilarra> After the party finishes their breakfast and preparations, they are joined again by Kaerishiel, who has a host of guards with him. "Eviana has requested your presence." He doesn't seem pleased about that.
[16:48] * Kilarra smirks and flicks her tail idly, frowning a bit when the elf she didn't like showed up.
[16:48] * Kilarra does seems pleased that their leader doesn't share his views, and that he is frustrated as a result.
[16:49] * Aluthyra nods her head to the elf. Though he may be rude, that doesn't mean she has to be as well. "Thank you."
[16:50] <Kilarra> Kjell straps himself into his armor and collects his trio of swords, still keeping Tyrant's bane on his right side so as to be his primary weapon. He smiles at the sword as it seems pleased to still be number one.
[16:52] * Aluthyra heads out the door to Eviana's chamber after giving Kaerishiel a polite smile.
[16:52] <@Aluthyra> Tognik straps on his quiver, which is carrying his many wands,and follows beside Kjell.
[16:53] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel doesn't return it as he leads the party back to the lodge at the center of crying leaf.
[16:54] <Kilarra> Upon their arrival, the party can see Eviana dressed in a resplendant suit of elven mithral chainmail. There are a number of elves here similarly dressed, poring over large maps of the forest.
[16:56] * Aluthyra waits until spoken to once again, not wanting to interrupt their planning.
[16:57] <Kilarra> Eviana motions the players forward, looking tired and grim. "We have come to a decision."
[16:58] <@Aluthyra> Tognik raises an eyebrow. "And it would be...?"
[17:01] <Kilarra> Eviana sighs, "We are going to war. The information you have provided us has convinced me that we might be able to drive the drow out of our city entirely. Further, I have decided that you might play a useful role in this effort. Our numbers are few and the drow are entrenched. Since you already have experience dealing with the drow, your assistance would be quite valuable. What say you? Will you help us?”
[17:03] * Aluthyra bows her head. "I will gladly aid you."
[17:03] <@Aluthyra> Tognik nods. "Sure."
[17:05] * Kilarra nods, "Of course. These drow have been using demons, undead, and probably all other sorts of horrors I would be glad to help get rid of."
[17:06] <Kilarra> Kjell bows, "Most certainly. You have been entrenched here so long by a grave threat; it would be remiss of us not to aid you."
[17:07] <Kilarra> Eviana smiles, "Thank you most sincerely. We still have some preparations to take care of, and will be another four hours. Take this time to prepare yourselves for the march. The forest is not suited for riding, but your mounts will be well cared for if you leave them here."
[17:11] * Aluthyra nods, turning to Kilarra. "Do you have anything left that you need to prepare?"
[17:12] * Kilarra shakes her head, "No, I took care of that already. Although," she smirks mischeviously, "I'd not object to a little more quality time with you."
[17:16] * Aluthyra smiles. "Perhaps later... it may be best that we focus on the upcoming battle, for now."
[17:17] * Kilarra pouts a a bit, but realizes that was a fair point. She flicks Aluthyra's backside teasingly with her tail, then heads back to the lodge to check her supplies.
[17:17] <Kilarra> Kjell snickers a bit at her, "Well, at least whatever tension there was between you two, it seems to have been... sorted."
[17:19] * Aluthyra blushes, clearing her throat. "Thankfully, yes." She smiles, watching Kilarra's backside as she leaves.
[17:20] <@Aluthyra> Tognik leaves to the lodge, napping to kill the extra time. He already is as prepared as he will ever be.
[17:20] * Kilarra puts a little swish in her tail to emphasize the one place she now felt truely attractive.
[17:23] * Kilarra has quite a few potions of Cure Moderate Wounds on her person, and decides to split them up, passing two to each of the other party members in case they needed healing and she was out of reach.
[17:25] * Aluthyra waits in meditation for the upcoming battle, first thanking Killarra for the potion.
[17:26] * Kilarra hangs on to the few more potent potions nicked from the drow cleric lady, including lesser restoration, neutralize poison, and Remove Paralysis, to be used when necessary. She makes sure they're all labeled in case she's put out of commission and the others need to use one or more of them on her.
[17:34] <Kilarra> Kaerishiel only had one other thing to say to the party as he left them to take care of his own preparations; "I am done guiding you. You have no idea of the danger you have walked into."
[17:37] * Aluthyra shakes her head. This elf really isn't very helpful.
[17:46] * Aluthyra continues to meditate until it's time to leave.
[17:47] <Kilarra> The elves begin to assemble at the edge of the village, leaving only a small host behind to protect the settlement. There are a few hundred elves assembled in all.
[17:51] * Kilarra wakens Aluthyra and Tognik, bringing their attention to the gathering group of elves.
[17:51] <Kilarra> Kjell stands ready
[17:52] * Aluthyra sits up, ending her meditation as Kilarra nudges her. She smiles appreciatively, looking to the gathering.
[17:52] <@Aluthyra> Tognik yawns, waking up slowly.
[17:57] <Kilarra> With the army of several hundred elves assembled, Kaerishiel blows a single note from his horn and the march begins. Notably, the elven army does not march in a single, large column, instead splitting into skirmish groups of four to six as they begin to move through the Meirani.
[17:59] * Aluthyra takes out her bow and nocks an arrow. She looks to her companions, waiting for them to follow after the elves.
[18:00] <@Aluthyra> Tognik nods, ready to follow.
[18:00] <Kilarra> Kjell draws Tyrant's Bane and begins to move, assuming that the other party members will fall in with him to form their own group like the elves were doing.
[18:01] * Kilarra leaves her whip curled up for now. In all this brush, it was likely to get snagged on something. She kind of regrets not getting a noqual mace now.
[18:02] * Aluthyra follows close after Kjell.
[18:02] <@Aluthyra> Tognik falls in the back, keeping his eyes peeled.
[18:06] <Kilarra> The journey is largely without event, as the movement of such a large group was a natural deterrent to predators. However, the dense undergrowth and poor terrain make the march slow-going, and about halfway to the city, they company stops to set up camp.
[18:12] <Kilarra> As the second day of the march begins, the first sign of an abandoned civilization manifests in the form of an ancient road of overgrown marble stones that leads to Celwynvian. While tangled, this path still allows for much faster travel than any other route.
[18:13] <Kilarra> The road leads to a clearing just half a mile from the ruins where many of the scouts and skirmishers currently watching over the city hold a temporary camp. The forest still blocks any view of Celwynvian, but half-crumbled pillars and eroded foundations testify to the site’s proximity.
[18:15] * Aluthyra continues as the elves advance, keeping her bow at the ready.
[18:17] <Kilarra> The elves stop upon reaching this temporary camp and begin to add their ranks to it, setting up for a battle that could take days, maybe even weeks depending on how things went and how entranched the drow were. The conflict had already been going on for centuries as it was.
[18:17] <Kilarra> The party is given a pair of simple green tents and a lot near Eviana's main pavillion to set up.
[18:21] <Kilarra> -End Session-
