BACKGROUND:
Nari grew up in a fairly normal family consisting of her two parents, older brother Minhyuk and twin sister Dasom. Nari had always been interested in music, learning to play the piano at a young age and song writing at the age of 13. She was first exposed to the idea of an idol life when she heard Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry playing and wanted to be able to create the same feeling she felt when she was dancing around to the song to others. Then, she packed her bags and left to Seoul in hopes to join an agency where she joined Pledis in 2011. She was fortunate enough to debut in Twenty Four before they went on hiatus.
TRIVIA:
* She’s very indecisive when it comes to choosing her favourite colour; it used to be purple but now it’s changed to orange
* Nari has only been abroad once which was when she travelled to Japan on a school trip
* She has 4 piercings - both of her lobes and a double helix on her left ear
* However she is extremely scared of pain and needles and it took a lot of convincing from Dasom to get her helixes done
* Her only dancing experience is attempting to copy dances she’s seen on TV and being a part of Twenty Four
* She’s a big fan of football due to Minhyuk’s influence
* Due to being in Pledis, she’s on good terms with other Pledis idols
* Her favourite songs are by Super Junior, and it is currently a tie between One More Time and Black Suit
* Back home she has a dog named Toby
