      minho was spotted entering a hotel with fellow labelmate, and senior idol, sana of twice, late at night and not coming out until early that morning by a number of people that knew who they were that happened to be at the same hotel and fans outside of the building. pictures of the two rose that night and morning, and spread during the afternoon. though no statement has been made, the reason was because he had gotten quite drunk (hey, it was his birthday, and he wanted to celebrate, even if it was alone) and drunk dialed sana. sana, being a worried friend, had gone to get him. they were too far from the dorm to go back, and even then they would be scolded if they were caught, so she decided to be safe and go to a nearby hotel. he had passed out immediately and woke up with an asshole of a headache, apologizing to sana for anything that his stupid drunk self might have done. minho, and sana have not addressed this issue since it had died down by the time they had gotten online, but it's still a topic in the fandom.

      a recent scandal. a netizen posted a tweet about how he had met minho at a club, and shared a drink with him seeing as the security was tight so he should be legal and he didn't know that it was minho until the trainee moved his mask down to drink the soju. the fan talks about how minho had been flirting with him, dropping hints and being incredibly touchy the whole night, even once trying to initiate a kiss but playing it off when he was rejected. jyp has not issued a statement about the matter, and neither has minho. since this scandal rose, minho hasn't been seen in around clubs or parties.
