    ◦ kang naeun was born in jeju island as the second child to a pair of lawyers. so naturally, growing up, she was pretty well off, because her parents were bringing in quite a fair bit of money from their careers. however, her parents did have to work quite a fair bit, and weren't at home during the day very often, so naeun and her brother jaehyun were usually put in the care of nanny, who worked four days a week, and daycare centres for the other three days. growing up without their parents around as much meant that jaehyun and naeun became really close, and they're a lot closing than you would expect from siblings, since they almost never fight. when they were younger, it was the two of them against the world, and they're still extremely close all these years later. naeun picked up dance lessons at the young age of five, taking up ballet due to her mother's wishes for her to become an elegant dancer. naeun grew to love dancing around with the music, and eventually branched out to other forms of dance, the sport becoming her main hobby. when she was seven years old, her parents moved from jeju to seoul, where her grandparents lived, as her mother wanted to spend more time with her parents. naeun was transferred to a new school in the area, and was quick to make friends with everyone in her class. she was a relatively popular person, as she always had people surrounding her, due to being a chatty and easy going person who made friends easily, and was often going on outings with her friends on the weekends in between her dance classes. despite their busy jobs in seoul, her parents always made an effort to be close with their children, especially after naeun's grandparents passed away, and they promised that they would go to every single one of naeun's dance concerts, and all of jaehyun's science  fairs (a promise that they've still kept to this day), but they're not as close as they'd like to be because of their jobs. but at least they did try, which is what makes them shine in naeun's eyes.

    ◦ kang naeun is, in one word, outgoing. she is a total extravert, and is extremely friendly. she has no problems talking to people, and is by far the most social person you will ever meet in your life, full stop. she is the type of person who is facebook friends with literally everyone from her school, and literally has an account on every social media app you can think of. she is very talkative, and is the type of person to make friends very easily. her schedule is always packed, between her dance classes and going out with all of her friends. if you want someone to spend the day with shopping or swimming or partying or anything really, she'll come. she is a very easy going person, and can almost never be seen without a smile on her face. there are very few people on the planet who can say they've actually seen her completely lose her cool and blow off at them. she can also tend to be a bit childish at times, and she absolutely lives for aegyo, doing it whenever she gets the chance. she is sometimes thought to be the youngest, because of both her nature, and her looks which make her seem a lot younger than she actually is. she is a very clingy person, and loves skinship of any kind. this girl is like a leach, and does not know the meaning of personal space, so once she gets close to you, it is not uncommon for her to attach herself to your arm to the point where you might have to get her surgically removed from you. she is an extremely good listener, and is the type of person who will sit there quietly and listen to all of your troubles without interrupting you, and then try her best to help you find a solution to your problem, and then do anything in her power to try and cheer you up again. she is actually a very soothing person, and is one of the best of the girls at dealing with emotional people. if you're upset, she'll sit you down and do aegyo until you smile again. if you're angry, she'll take you aside and calmly ask you what's wrong and prevent you from blowing things way out of proportion. she is very good at getting people to talk to her, which could be because she is a very persuasive person, which is to be expected from a daughter of two lawyers. naeun always get's whatever she wants, and is extremely good at getting people to reduce prices while out shopping (which is part of what makes her the best shopping buddy). she is good at keeping secrets, and you can trust her to keep her mouth shut and her lips sealed if you tell her something. she is not the type to go blurting things out to the world, especially if you don't want her to. that being said, she is also very good at digging up blackmail on you, even though she might never use it against you. she's very good at finding embarrassing photos of you from past social media accounts, so you probably don't want to piss her off (even though it's hard to do that because she seems to have endless patience). naeun is also extremely innocent, and does not constantly have her mind in the gutter, like some of the other girls. she usually doesn't get any dirty minded jokes that they make, most of them just flying over her head, and taking her a few seconds to actually work out. also, for someone so sociable and outgoing, she is a horrible flirter. she sucks at flirting, and becomes the most awkward smol bean when she's trying to flirt with someone that it is honestly adorable.

    - she is no main vocal, but she definitely has a very stable voice, despite not being able hit the really high notes. but she is still a decent vocalist and can hold a tune.

    ◦ naeun being the social butterfly that she is, decided she wanted to go out and meet every single one of the boys at the camp and introduce herself to them, and then see if she could find (see: stalk) them on social media. so of course, she came across him and immediately marched up to him to introduce herself. he was rather taken aback at first, since she'd just come walking straight up to him and he had absolutely no idea who she was, and could barely comprehend what her name was when she was holding her hand out for him to shake it. however, this did not last long before he took her hand in his and shook it, before trying some of his really bad pickup lines on her.

— FIRST IMPRESSIONS :
    ◦ HER | "oh look it's a guy he must be one of the campers i should introduce myself to him. ok wow he's really good looking."
    ◦ HIM | "who is she why is she coming in my direction wait never mind she's cute."

— HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM :
    ◦ BEG | she is her normal social self, because she's just trying to make a new friend, and he happened to be one of the first people she spoke to. she's comfortable talking to him, because she is the type of person who's good at holding conversations with literally anyone, without letting the mood turn awkward. she also finds him really good looking, and will probably admit it if someone asked her about it, but she doesn't really act much different.
    ◦ MID | by this point, she's kind of figured out that he's been flirting with her, and it has taken her this long to notice this, she doesn't really say anything about it, or act flustered, but she makes no attempt to flirt back (because she can't flirt to save her life). she's actually quite comfortable around him, and often goes to talk to him, and drags him around everywhere as her sidekick.
    ◦ END | she actually sort of likes him, and attempts to flirt with him. however, this ends up being a disaster because she gets so flustered and embarrassed her tries to hide her face. he's just grinning however, and manages to make her feel less embarrassed. however, despite this, she goes back to being a normal social person almost half an hour later as if nothing has happened. she knows that he has a crush on her, and she likes him too, so she sometimes gets flustered (he finds it adorable) but it doesn't usually last very long before she's stopped being flustered.

— HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER :
    ◦ BEG | at the beginning he thinks that she's really attractive, and doesn't even bother to hide the fact. he straight away starts acting like his greasy self, trying pickup lines on her and embarrassing himself. he is rather surprised by the fact that she doesn't seem to get flustered at all, and a lot of his attempts just go flying straight over her head. however, this doesn't mean he stops trying.
    ◦ MID | he's completely whipped with her, to the point where everyone else can tell, whether it be from his horrible flirting, or the way he always seems to brighten up and become even more hyper whenever she's within ten metres of him. he always tries to act cool whenever she's around, but still manages to embarrass himself a lot by walking into poles, or tripping over his own feet. he cannot say no to her, and often lets her drag him around the camp.
    ◦ END | he's extremely happy when she attempts to flirt with him, and flirts back to make her feel less embarrassed about it when she gets really flustered, but he doesn't stop smiling for like three days afterwards, much to the amusement of all the other campers. he's extremely whipped, and he goes as far to step up his game to try and win her over. he's openly crushing on her now, and everyone knows it, including naeun.

    ◦ naeun pestering her love interest (if it's mingyu) to help her with her rapping skills but she is so bad at it that he just spends most of the time trying not to laugh in case it offends her, and after about half an hour she finally gives up and tells him he can laugh at her now, because she's noticed him trying not to laugh
    ◦ tons and tons of back hugs where he just comes up behind her and rests his head on her shoulder
    ◦ her trying to flirt with him because she realises 'hey he's actually pretty cute' but she get's all flustered about it, and he finds it really cute and ends up saving her from embarrassment by taking over and flirting with her instead.
