- Covet: -Cadence was in the gym looking at the time waiting for anyone to show up. She wasn't sure if anyone would even be showing up for the first meeting, but it gave her some time to work on her rotations and passes. She lined up on the corner of the mats and put her hands to her side, taking off in a sprint before tucking forward to her hands and kicking off, twisting to land on her feet and jump into a back tuck. She stuck the landing and repeated the motions going back to the corner she started on-
- Tsaaq: She walked down the hallway towards the cheer gym, since she had only been to it once since she started school there to her she had gotten lost a thousand times trying to find it. Hayley finally located the gym with a dramatic sigh she pushed the doors open, spotting Cadence jumping around. “Crap, I’m not wearing any clothes to do that.” She grumbled as she gripped her back pack and walked into the center of the gym. “Hey!” She said with a lazy wave.
- Covet: -Cadence stopped and looked up to see Hayley there in regular clothes- Oh don't worry about it. Today is just the day to see who all is interested. But Next week We'll be having an actual practice on Monday probably at 11:30 like the later meeting. I'm just using this as my workout. Almost as good a irritating Thad at the gym. -she smirked and walked over to the desk- How well are you at basic tumbling, Cartwheels, flips, round offs, those kind of things?
- Tsaaq: “Thank fucking god, I thought I fucked up for a second.” She said quietly as she sat her backpack down on the floor beside the desk. She turned around to face Cadence and made a bit of a face. "Ew, I hate that guy." She grumbled. She rose both of her eyebrows at her inquiry and poked out her lips a bit. “I can do flips and cartwheels probably, other stuff I never actually tried to do before. Most of the gymnastics things are new to me…” Hayley answered as she shrugged her shoulder. “I know how to dance though so I guess it wouldn’t be that hard to pick up.”
- Covet: He's just a tool -she waved her hand at her- Mkay, well I'll make sure you get the rest of it. Tumbling isn't too complicated. Least not the basics. -she told her and sat down logging into the system. You'll either be a spotter or a base to start off with, then I might move you up to flyer, it depends if Steph shows up or not, and how many people we have over all. The Dancing will come in handy, though we don't really have a whole lot of freestyle dancing. It's still very erm....cheer. -she said-
- Tsaaq: Hayley nodded her head and scrunched up her face a bit while thinking. "I can lift people and shit if that's what a base is? As long as they're not the size of that African chick I fought that one time." She explained with a shrug. “And flyers the girls on top? Because I kind of want to get to know the other positions first… So I don’t fall and die or something. I’m pretty sure that would happen to me.” Hayley rambled a bit with her eyes wide. “I can do choreographed, freestyle, uhhh… I’m pretty flexible and that comes in handy a lot.” She listed off her fingers. “I can be really loud and I’ve been practicing smiling.” Hayley rubbed her cheeks for moment before forcing a pearly grin on her lips.
- Covet: -Cadence laughed- Yeah, Bases are the ones that help lift, and Flyers are the ones being thrown up. Don't worry, it's not something I'm going to throw you into immediately. I'm thinking long term. Maybe by basketball season. -she told her.- Flexibility is good. It makes the gymnastics part of it easier, and The fact that you are loud is good cause if we have a small squad, we'll need that.
- Tsaaq: She put her hands on her hips and rocked back and forth in her spot. "Holy shit. Awesome. I'm going to be a cheerleader." Hayley said with a bit of a laugh. "Wait... When's basketball season again? I'm new to this whole... Active in extracurricular shit." She lifted her hands from her hips and waved them around a bit.
- Covet: Basketball won't be till the end of this semester beginning of next semester. Most of the games are next semester though. We'll get you set up with your uniform and all that as soon as possible in case we need to make any alterations or anything. -she said checking the time- Just another hour or so and we'll see who else is going to be showing up. -Cadence grabbed a clip board off the desk and handed it over to her- Go ahead and sign in on here before I forget.
- Tsaaq: "Oh okay." She said after listening to her reply. "Well that should be enough time I guess." Hayley licked her lips and took the clipboard from Cadence patted her short pockets for a pen. She signed her name and placed the clipboard on the desk. "Awesome, I'm going to have a uniform and all that great shit." Hayley pumped her fist in the air for a moment. "Am I the only freshman that wants to be a cheerleader? Does that make me awesome?" She asked with a raise of one of her eyebrows.
- Covet: You also get pom poms as well. -she told her- As far as I know you're the only Freshie that's interested, so That makes you awesome for that, I guess? -she said with a shrug, not really sure what she wanted to hear-
- Tsaaq: She shrugged. "Less competition I guess." Hayley muttered and crossed her arms over her chest. She looked around the empty gym and frowned a bit. "Are people are still part of the squad supposed to come too?" She asked.
- Covet: I don't really know who's all is still going to be on the squad. Maybe Aubrey, Maybe Steph. I'm doubtful on Steph though because I'm the one running it. And she can't even text me back let alone be in the same room with me. -Cadence said rolling her eyes and walking back over to the mats to flop down on them-
- Tsaaq: Hayley furrowed her eyebrows and frowned a bit. "Oh yeah..." She trailed off. "I forgot you guys aren't talking or whatever." She muttered awkwardly. "But all her squawks are about her being at the gym and shit so maybe she still wants to be a cheerleader?" Hayley said with a tilt of her head.
- Covet: Yeah no that's definitley not the reason she is posting those squawks. -Cadence said short and to the point- She's a gymnast first. Always. She will even tell you that Cheerleading is gymnastics for retards. But if we're being one hundred percent honest, nobody is stupid enough to be on her level in gymnastics.
- Covet: [SHHH She knows we're talkin smack about her now...XD]
- Alexithymiaa: (BITCH)
- Covet: [XD lol No YOU just your character :P]
- Tsaaq: "Oh..." She trailed off and shifted in her spot. "I'm not retarded... I just really wanted to be a cheerleader." Hayley muttered with a frown fixing on her lips. "I always thought Steph was sort of a badass, and her boyfriend is hot." She shrugged her shoulders and began to pout. "She only said that you were being nosey and trying to run her life I didn't think you guys were that mad at each other." Hayley's eyes widened as she covered her. "I'm sorry! I don't know if I was supposed to say that shit or not."
- Covet: Okay, if running her life means trying to keep her healthy and not end up trying to kill herself again. -Cadence rolled her eyes and sat up on the mat, stretching out her legs. She grabbed her tippy toes and bulled them back towards her body.- She can be a bad ass, but she can also be stubborn as fuck. I don't really care at this point I know what she thinks and I haven't done anything a concerned friend wouldn't do. So fuck it.
- Tsaaq: She cleared her throat the the mention of Steph and suicide and a bunch of shit just didn't know about and was overwhelming to say the least. Hayley kept her eyes wide and looked back and forth awkwardly. "Well it's none of my business." She mumured and played with the long part of her giant plaid shirt. "But I hope it works out and shit." She shrugged, not knowing what to say.
- Covet: -She was partially glad that all of that had shut Hayley up, because she didn't want to go into details about it.- Sorry, if you couldn't tell it's a bit of a sore spot for me. -she rolled backwards, kicking her feet around until she was upright on her knees, and went to standing up- Looks like it might just be you and me, IttyBit. I guess we'll just have to be extra loud and extra good at tumbling.
- Tsaaq: "Yeah I can see that." She sputtered before speaking again. "I'm not Itty-bitty..." She said with her lips pouted. "But I can do both of those things as long as I don't get kicked off the team." Hayley walked over to the matts and dropped down onto it backwards with her arms spread.
- Alexithymiaa: -Steph kicked her feet along the hallway, hitching her bag on her shoulder as she headed down toward the cheer gym where she knew she was well passed the start of her meeting time. Shoving the gym door open with her hand, she stepped inside vaguely annoyed and irritated right off the bat. Her lip was still split from the previous night, her cheek a darkening purple bruise. She stared across the gym to Cadence and Hayley before continuing to make her way over, dropping her bag down at the front of the gym. "Sorry I'm late." She said blandly and with no inflection, crossing her arms over her chest and moving to sit down on the mat to begin her stretches.-
- Covet: Yes you are, because you're a freshman. It's okay. Nicknames are good -she told her, turning around to do a couple of walk overs, basically killing time.- I guess you can always show me the extent of what you can do. -she looked up to see Steph looking rather fucked up.- Sure. When you're done stretching out sign in on the clip board on the desk.-she turned back to Hayley, biting the inside of her cheek to keep the plethora other things she could be saying right now from coming out.-
- Tsaaq: She remained on her back for a moment, staring up at the ceiling. "Ugh, nicknames." Hayley grumbled to herself. "I can but I'd probably have to take this giant thing off, of all the days I decided to wear it." She narrowed her eyes and sat up, tugging at her black plaid shirt. Her head turned at the sound of the door opening. "Hey." Hayley said with a quick wave and looked between the two of them awkwardly.
- Alexithymiaa: -She nodded to them, keeping silent as she leaned forward and straddled her legs on either side of her, pressing the palms of her hands down to the mat out in front of her and leaning her torso down onto the floor. "Yep." Was all she said before looking to Hayley with a slightly strained face because stretching. "Hey."-
- Covet: Same shit's expected as last year, Be on time, and be ready. There is a no peircings rule cause that shit hurts when it's ripped out. You can put them back in after practice and games. If you intend not to be here let me know beforehand, you only get to miss 3 practices without excuse. After that, you're kicked off. You must maintain a 3.0 grade point average, and if you are arrested for any reason major or minor you will be kicked off the team. -she said naming off rules- If for any reason I think you're not fit or healthy to participate, I will bench you. Meaning you are at home getting better or you are in here watching. I will even push a suspension until a doctors note is provided saying you are cleared for practice again.
- Tsaaq: She listened with wide eyes as Cadence listed off the rules. She only sighed once. "Oh, shit." Hayley muttered at the mention of no piercings, her hands unknowingly going to her septum piercing. “I guess that’s all reasonable…” She shrugged and nodded her head. She raised a brow and looked down at her tummy for a moment, pinching her sides.
- Alexithymiaa: "Mhm." She mumbled, sitting up from her stretches. She pushed up to her feet and walked to the front of the room, looking over the clipboard and leanign down to neatly print her name on the list. Without thinking of interjecting into Cadence's little speech, she turned to look at them. "Where's everyone else?"-
- Covet: This is everyone else. I never really head from Aubrey one way or the other if she was joining back up this semester. -She looked at Hayley- Remember that for next week everyone gets a free pass today. So first off hand stand, I'm sure you can handle that one, then after that give me a cartwheel.
- Tsaaq: She had shook her head at Steph before Cadence had answered. She nodded her head intently and pulled off her plaid shirt, leaving the black shirt on. Hayley went to tie the shirt since it had been a little baggy and she wasn’t wearing a bra so it would probably be a bad idea not to tie it. She shrugged her shoulders and hopped around for a moment before leaning her body forward with her palms out flat. She lifted one leg off the mat then raised the other into the handstand for a few seconds. She went to stand up straight again and sputtered her lips. “Annd, a cart wheel.” Hayley whispered and took a deep breath in. Starting facing forward, she lowered the top part of her body to the right, and raising her left leg in the air. Hayley kicked her leg in the air the swing her body to the other side of the mat with her hands raised. It wasn’t really clean or anything but it was a start.
- Alexithymiaa: -Steph watched Hayley's skill execution, nodding her head. "Are you a lefty?"-
- Covet: -Cadence nodded her head- Well you haven't ever cheered, so I knew there was going to be work. Don't worry though, I think we can get you whipped into shape in time. -Cadence nodded along with Steph as she watched her awkward positioning when she did - Yeah, are you?
- Tsaaq: “No, a righty? Why did I do it wrong? I don’t find myself upside down very often I tried to go off of memory of the last time I was.” Hayley went forward to attempt the cartwheel again, putting her hands flat on the mat yet again. “He was behind me and I was doing this-“ She was saying to herself before toppling forward. “Aw fuck.” Hayley grumbled as she rubbed her legs.
- Alexithymiaa: "It's just not common for anyone, even lefties, to have their left leg be their dominant leg. I can count on one hand the people I know who are left side dominant when it comes to tumbling." She eased forward and over toward Hayley, glancing down at her legs. "It might be a little easier for you to try starting with your right instead. If it's not natural for you, that's fine, but it's worth a shot to try."-
- Covet: -Cadence just stood there and listened to Steph, crossing her arms over her chest- Go on, Try it on the other side. Get used to the pain, you'll be feeling a lot of it. -she saw Steph take over on getting Hayley's cartwheels cleaned up, grabbing her phone off the floor and scrolled through it to send off a text-
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head and stood up once again, hopping up and down before readying herself for the next cart wheel she’d do. “Maybe that’s why I sucked so much on my first try?” Hayley kept her right dominant on the mat then leaned her body forward again, bringing her palms to the mat and swinging her legs around, lowering her right leg to the mat before bring the left down and trying to stand straight. Hayley stumbled back a little bit with her arms up. “How was that?” She asked quickly, looking between Steph and Cadence.
- Alexithymiaa: "Better. We'll work on it." She gave Hayley a small pat on the shoulder before turning and stepping off the mat and move to the front of the room. "If you want to come by the training center, I can help you a little more and you can use the springboards to help you get more air and get your body adjusted to the movements with more time before you start getting your pacings down." She leaned over, picking her bag up and onto her shoulder before turning to look at Cadence. "So there's no real point in me being here right now, and I feel like death so I'm going to go back to Ash's and roll in a pile of cats. Cool? Cool."-
- Covet: -Cadence dropped her phone down and tried not to physically roll her eyes at her, screaming internally.- Sure, before you go. Did you get my text message yesterday about the whole rent thing? -she asked her, keeping her cool, and her attitude in check.-
- Tsaaq: "Yay!" She cheered as she jumped up. "Do I have to wear a leotard? Because all of mine are see-though." Hayley asked quickly, just in case Steph tried to run off. She pulled her phone out of her shorts pocket and pretended to text while Cadence asked Steph her question, Hayley was just trying not to look like she was listening or anything.
- Alexithymiaa: "No, just nothing that will catch on any of the equipment. And no shoes on my mats." She shifted her bag on her shoulder, starting for the door and stopping in front of it. "No." Was all she said to Cadence before shoving the door open to step out into the hallway, making her way to the front of the building to head "home."-
- Covet: -Cadence dropped her arms and glared at the door- Well fuck you too bitch. -she called out as she grabbed her phone- Screw me for being nice and dropping your rent since you're never there, but your shit still is. -she glared at her phone and hissed through her teeth- fucking Devin. that's right...poke your head out fuckwad...you've got a death sentence waiting for you. -she mumbled to herself while texting Ash back-
- Tsaaq: Hayley swayed in her spot for a second and quietly watched Steph run out the gym. Her eyes instantly when to Cadence and she bit the inside of cheek. "Welp..." She murmured and lowered her cellphone. "What about Devin?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
- Covet: He's the reason Steph came in like fucking fight club. He cornered her in a bathroom. -she said clenching her fist as she put the lanyard for her phone around her neck, not wanting to risk throwing it- FUCK I'm so fucking pissed right now!
- Tsaaq: "But he doesn't even go here, why did he-" She pouted and stopped her sentence to think for a moment. Hayley took a few steps back then walked off the matt over to her backpack to strap it onto her back. "Uhhh, do you need help kicking his ass or should I just leave you alone or some shit?" She asked awkwardly.
- Covet: Nah, I'm sure there's a whole posse waiting for him to poke his head back out. It'sjust a whole game of cat and mouse now....-she said going to grab the rest of her things- If you want to join in on the posse It couldn't hurt to have more hands to add punches, or stabs....whatever. -she said grabbing the cheer room key as she headed for the door-
- Tsaaq: Hayley shrugged her shoulders and walked behind her. "I already have my plan... If Pumpkin doesn't hate me anymore we'll probably do it together." She murmured as she licked her lips. "Can I get a ride to talon?" Hayley asked quickly.
- Covet: Sure thing -she told her making her way out to her vehicle taking Hayley back to Talon before she headed home herself to be annoyed and angry at people.-
- Tsaaq: ((Lol.))
