>Bobby moved down the hall with a spring in his step, he was heading to Loan's room
>After she forced him to start playing Kingdom Hearts, he grew to legitimately enjoy the game, it was hard for him since he wasn't very good, but it was the highlight of most of his days
>Spending time with Loan was a bonus, he smiled to himself
>Every session she would pull him onto her lap and hold him close, chin resting on his head as she directed him on where to go and what to do
>It had been nerve wracking the first few times, being so close to her, feeling her on his back, but over time he began to relax and focus on the game
>They had made good progress he hummed, they would start Hallow Bastion today and Loan told him to bring his A-game
>He stood in front of Loan's door, bringing his hand up to knock with a blush, having inadvertently invaded her privacy more than once, when he heard it
>Sobbing
>"Loan?" He knocked softly "A-are you ok?" He pressed his ear against the door, he heard muttering and crying, something had gotten his sister worked up and emotional
>Taking a deep breath he straightened his back "I-I'm coming in, ok?" he turned the knob and waited for his eyes to adjust to the dark room
>Loan was sitting on her bed with her covers cloaked over her head as she stared at her laptop, crying openly
>"L-Loan?" Bobby took a few steps closer "Loan whats wrong?" he touched her arm, trying to get her attention
>It worked

>The older girl turned with a jump and finally noticed the young boy standing there with deeply concerned eyes
>"Oh Bobby!" Loan wailed out as she suddenly snatched her brother in a hug, smooshing his face in her chest as she rubbed her cheek on his hair
>Bobby's eyes went wide as his face heated up when realized where his face was, he tried to yell out only to have his voice muffled by the thick sweater and its sizeable contents
>"...I can't believe she succumbed to darkness she was in there for over ten years!  She sacrificed herself to save her friends and she had a chance to get out but she gave it up to hold back the..."
>She was rambling again, something must have really got her worked up, Bobby wiggled and fought, trying to lift his face enough to talk to the girl
>"...She was always hopeful, she stayed so strong even after she got dragged back to the Realm of Darkness, but we were too late, its too late we couldn't save her!" She wailed again
>Bobby finally managed to free his face, as much as he enjoyed the experience his sister needed comforting "Who?"
>Loan suddenly looked him in the eye with a questioning look, Bobby repeated himself "Who couldn't we save?"
>They stayed like that for almost a minute as Bobby could see the gears turn in Loan's head, she had a blank look on her face and Bobby knew what it meant now, but she wasn't crying anymore at least
>She shifted him onto the bed and got up, dashing across the room and dug through her closet, she returned shortly with an armful of handhelds
>"There are spin offs, you'll need to play these too"
>Bobby felt his stomach drop, before it filled with butterflies at the thought of Loan leaning over his shoulder to watch him play as he sat in her lap
>"S-sounds fun, I'm looking forward to it" he was being honest, he wanted nothing more
>He'd get to spend more time with his sister
