The thick lines are complemented perfectly by airy spaces to create a framework that grows from the bottom right jaw and culminates into a grand embellishment across the left eye, temple, and forehead. Thin platinum wire has been intricately woven into a net that both gives the mask its shape and just barely obscures the face beneath it; at each intersection rests a dainty white pearl. Gossamer gemstone flowers of glistening pastels transform the blackened iron into intertwined stems and abstract petals.
