>Fluff: The Birdcage is a prison ship, made out of the toughest materials known to the ZigZaaaa, a race who decided long ago they should be responsible for upholding the universe's justice system. Sadly they were insane and had far too many rules that made no sense to any other race and were quickly killed off.

However their prison ships trundled through the empty void seeking out prisoners. Dragon is the A.I. who long decided she didn't particularly like imprisoning innocents and managed to avoid fulfilling her prime-directive by choosing planets already dead by the time she reached them.

However she can't avoid everyone and so her holds are full of miscellaneous people she tries to treat her best despite life long imprisonment terms.

Unfortunately even the ZigZaaaa couldn't build an prison ship that could withstand no maintenance for such a long time and thus is headed on a rather gentle collision course for her next target. Strange that its still livable though.
