jo came from simply, a family of hunters. with her father and mother both being inhumanly powerful, especially her dad, she would come with them to the forest to hunt bears, wolves, and such, sometimes with their bare arms or with weapons. of course, genetics, and jo was blessed with surprising strength from just being an 8 year old. to other families, sending your child out to the woods to see the gruesome world was cruel, but they wanted jo to have life experience and become independent.

plus, there was this weird feeling that jo had in which she enjoyed watching the deaths of the animals, especially those that harmed them first. call her sadistic, but she really can’t ignore those feelings. when she turned 16 and was about to go on her first hunt with her father, a bullet struck him in the heart, shot by the faraway karakuri from them. in the corner of her eye, more karakuris were coming and building a formation to run and easily catch her.

with her father whispering run to her, jo blasted off to their house, only to see her mother stained in the crimson red color of her own blood. tears welling up in her eyes and the footsteps getting nearer, jo jumped out of their open window, and ran and ran and ran, reaching an unknown part of the forest in which she stayed for the next 4 years. but after the news of the group nct spread like wild fire, jo cried and praised god that there were people like her, who thought that the world they were living in was inhumane. so, she set out at the age of 20 no matter how long it would take her to reach there just to meet the leader and join their crew, lee taeyong.

though jo’s family has sadly passed away, her relationship with her parents were quite good when they were still complete.

jo’s father — daughter relationship with her dad is the best one ever. they’re almost always together, with her coming with him to go hunting. her dad would always protect her if one creature came near her, often easily killing them with his hands and grip strength or with a weapon. they’d come home at the end of the day together, with the same routine of him piggybacking her until she was 15.


her dad had incredible strength, which was passed down to her in genes, he would carry the animal he got in his hands, while being able to piggyback ride jo. they do and have their own special handshake, always doing it everytime one of them would do an amazing feat. they were acting as if they’re each other’s best friends and not a parent nor a child.

jo has always been close to her mother. her mother was the one guiding her and comforting her, whispering words of sweet parental love in her ears when she wasn’t used to seeing animals die before her eyes at first. a fine and strong hidden hunter herself, she used to teach jo survival methods in case they would pass, like cooking with a fire, how to even start one, how to build a shelter, and more.


they were extremely special to each other. at the end of the day when they come back home from hunting, she would shout  mom, we’re here ! i love you !  all of a sudden, which would make her cry out of happiness. like her special handshake with her father, jo had one with her mother as well. they were so sweet and loving to each other, that even a honeybee’s honey can’t compare.





OVERALL  :  jo was extremely close to her family, and considered them as blessings from god. their family was tightly bonded, though they would have occasional fights on little or petty things. they swore to each other one time, to never forget each one of them, no matter what would happen.

SADISTIC   |   “ i’m not stopping until i see each and every one of them fall by my hands. “


jo’s known for her sadism, whether she likes it or not. she likes to hear her rival’s cries of mercy ringing in her ears, before finishing them off. she never wanted to be twisted like that, she never wanted to laugh as she sees their lifeless bodies, she never wanted to be somehow like him. but in the end, how could she stop ?  though it’s terrifying, her friends have gotten used to it, but still pull her back before her vision can go completely black and she goes hell - bent on killing. she doesn’t enjoy seeing her friends or loved ones or even anyone innocent get hurt though, but she does love and laugh seeing her enemies in pain.





TOUGH  |   “ you think you scare me ?  well, hell no. “


a free - spirited youth you must call her. she’s brave, and her tough exterior doesn’t break easily. she’s extremely hard to get to cry during a fight, especially since she’s learned a lot while running away from the karakuris. sometimes, though her whole body is broken, she’d probably just ignore the hell - breaking pain she feels due to the rush of adrenaline and the mantras of perseverance she chants in her head. she’s not easily beaten in a fight, emotionally and physically. she never backs down, and is always up for a challenge unless she knows whole - heartedly that it won’t do her team any good. she’d sacrifice her life for the team, even though she knows the pain she’d feel while being tortured.





FRAGILE   |   “ help me save him you dumbasses ! i said help me ! please . . . “


though during battles she’s as tough as diamonds, after it though, is a whole breakdown. after a fight, she cries for herself and for her team. after a fight, she breaks down and faints. after a fight . . .  she contemplates on her own decisions, shaking violently as she tries not to let her tears fall down anymore. she can pick up pieces, but she can’t pick up shards. her tough exterior may be hard to break down by the enemies, but just one comforting word by her friend or loved one can send her into an emotional bahoola full of curses, screaming, and crying. she appreciates her friends so much, that if she sees one fall to the ground in pain, her vision darkens and a loud wail comes from her, before she wipes her eyes dry and attacks without hesitation.





OPTIMISTIC  |   “ i don’t think it would be that bad ! i can go check it out.“


though not seeming like it, jo always tries to have a positive outlook on things, often being the one to convince everyone else that it’ll be alright and that they can survive together. with her positive mindset, she volunteers for difficult work sometimes, thinking that everything will be fine in the end. unfortunately, this can be her downside as well. she thinks every stealthy mission is safe and can turn out well in the end, often leading her to do reckless actions sometimes in a hypnotised mindset that she made herself believe that they won’t be noticed by the karakuris.





ENERGETIC  |   “ come on, come one ! let’s go eat until we blow up haHAHAHA ! “


jo’s pretty energetic in terms of when she doesn’t battle, being kinda loud and noisy whenever she is. she usually drags everyone out of their zoned out state of sadness whenever she’s done moping around too, and makes them crack a small smile at her simple, yet hilarious, actions. she gets pretty hyped up most of the time, always smiling at the rare moments in which their group can relax for a bit. her energy and stamina seem to never run out, even after battles.





COURAGEOUS |   “ come at me you bastards ! don’t you dare hurt them ! “


jo’s extremely courageous, often putting her life on the line just for the sake of humanity. her rush of adrenaline whenever she does just explodes, making her kind of reckless, but proud of herself for finally standing up instead of running away. she doesn’t stand down, even if she knows the price she’ll pay is so steep. and if she were to be honest, she wants to be like taeyong. someone who’s able to lead the group and can sacrifice his most precious items just for the living and his friends. she wants to show that she’s not just a wimp and a hindrance to them, but instead a guiding star to their final safe future once they finish it all off with the king.

jo’s pretty damn scary and rough in the battlefield. shit - talking the karakuris to make them charge at her to make her job to kill them easier, and you can call her a bat - shit wild person there. the sight of the battle makes adrenaline rush through her veins, making her laugh dangerously and her eyes glint with some sort of red light. she does melee combat too when she loses her weapon, and let me just say that you do not want to know the details of how she kills them gruesomely. but well, maybe you do. she simply grabs their head  ( thanks to her dad for her genetics of extreme strength )  slams it onto her knee and drops them, before moving on to snapping their necks, or simply, just snapping their necks from the start too.







 ੈ   fears :



AUTOPHOBIA   |    fear of being left behind .


jo was scarred by the death of her parents. she felt lonely, worthless, and alone in the cold and cruel world. she felt unsafe, the warmth of love stripped away from her in the span of a snap of a finger. from then, being left behind is one of jo’s worst fears. sure, she can be separated from her friends for quite a long time, but knowing that they’ve permanently left her can make her go into hysterics.






THANATOPHOBIA   |   fear of others’ death .


this. this is jo’s biggest fear. she doesn’t care if she dies. no, she 1OO% does not care if she’s the one who dies. but, if it’s her friend’s life on the line, she will cry her hardest. she wants them to stay with her forever, and whenever she sees someone having a hard time in a battle, her heart rate speeds up and she quickly kills the person in front of her, before running over and helping her teammate. she doesn’t want to them to die, especially if she sees it with her own two eyes. this is why she tries to be as brave as she can to protect them all.

though jo’s optimism is a great cheer up method for everyone, it’s a weakness for her as she can think that the situation is light and not that difficult, but in reality, it’s a life or death situation.





RECKLESSNESS   |   “ stand behind me ! i can handle this ! “


jo’s recklessness to protect others is a massive disadvantage. she can force them to go behind her to protect them all, and yes, she can beat them. but in the end, it might make her end up with fatal injuries.





 ੈ   likes :


HUNTING   —   jo finds hunting to be extremely fun, and is the one who hunts most of the team’s food. she finds it as a rush of adrenaline whenever she slaughters one, especially since her dad did it before too.



FRUITS  —  jo loves fruits, especially mangoes. it just reminds her of her peaceful childhood, and gives her flashbacks of when her mom used to give her a bowl of sliced mangoes. also, she just finds it to be delicious.



PICTURES  — pictures are something that jo always has in her sport bag. she usually has an old and small camera with her that she would use to take pictures with the team. they’re priceless to her, so she wants to keep a memento.



STARS — stars just fascinate jo so much. she dreams to be able to see one up close. sometimes, she just stargazes alone or with someone, just wanting all the chaos to end and live peacefully.



DANDELIONS — dandelions are jo’s favorite flowers. sometimes, jo just closes her eyes and blows on one, wishing that these peaceful and fun - filled moments with her friends would last forever.



SKINSHIP — jo likes to have skinship with her friends. she holds hands with them, hugs them a lot, and leans on their shoulder a lot. she mostly does it to the guys since she used to do it to her father though.

BLACK — she hates the color black as it gives her some sense of false hope. she finds it too dark and reminds her of her dark past as well seeing the karakuris dark clothes stained with red, and would try to stab anything black unless of importance.



VERY SWEET FOOD  — jo can handle sweet food, no doubt, but when it’s sugary sweet, jo just straight up dies. her head aches after eating sweet sweet candy, and she almost feels like throwing up though she never does.



NEGATIVITY  — as much as negativity will always be in jo’s life, she completely hates it. after so long of giving her a mindset of happiness, someone would influence her again to think of her horrid past.



WATCHING ATTACKS  — when they watch attacks without doing anything, jo gets pissed. she wants to help everyone, and just sitting there to see them getting slaughtered makes her vision darken. but, she tries her hardest not to stand up and sit quietly, often with the help of taeyong.



TEA — tea to her tastes absolutely disgusting. she wants to just spit it out everytime her friends force her to drink it. but if you’re metaphorically speaking, jo is always up for the tea.



SILENCE — silence just makes jo feel so uneasy. it gives her a sense that any moment now, and karakuri would give them an ambush attacks and kill her teammates. and of course, she hates that idea.

SHARPENING HER WEAPONS — it’s just a thing that she does everyday to make sure her weapons aren’t dull from being used to stab and kill countless karakuris.



SPARRING — needless to say, jo is a sadist. not just to practice her skills, but seeing her friends struggle against sparring with her puts a smile on her face. but of course, she doesn’t actually hurt them.



FINDING AND BLOWING DANDELIONS — she just finds it calming, and she thinks if she blows enough dandelions, her dreams and wishes will finally become true.

KICKING HER SHOE ON THE GROUND — whenever she just stands there, or the karakuris she’s dealing with are weak to her, she just stomps one foot in a rhythm repeatedly or swings her foot.



BITING HER LIP — this is just a subconscious habit she developed over the years. she does it randomly, no matter where she is or what she’s feeling.



EYES GLINTING — her eyes glint whenever she’s in a fight with the karakuris. this happens because seeing one of them triggers her memories, making her eyes glint with a red light.



A MANIACAL SMILE ON HER FACE — this happens when she’s in battle as well. being the sadist she is, seeing them die in front of her puts a smile on her. she always thinks she should check up with someone since no normal person would enjoy seeing pain so much.

O1  /   jo hunts mostly with her bare hands, and can be easily called one of the strongest in the group due to her background.



O2  /   there’s a shaved line in the middle of her left eyebrow.

  ੈ  first impressions :   jo found taeyong to really have a leader aura around him, and felt that he was extremely experienced in this field. she admires him a lot, especially when they work together on the battleground. in the meanwhile, taeyong found jo to be a perfect warrior. he found her so brave and her strength was just impeccable to him. he did feel a murderous aura when she killed the karakuris, and he still feels it up to now, but that doesn’t stop their best friendship with each other.

  ੈ  first meeting :  as jo set out to meet nct, she led herself into a pack of karakuris she entered a town going to nct’s last whereabouts. from there, she had killed them immediately, not in the mood to be hindered meeting them. little did she know that taeyong was in the same area as her, and watched her as she killed them. about to set out, jo was stopped by taeyong as he introduced himself. of course, jo recognised him immediately and introduced herself too, before asking about the team. from there, they talked about nct and their own lives as survivors as they walked back to the camp to recruit her.


  ੈ  relationship :  from the very start, they were immediately friends, both impressed by each other’s skills and leadership. they often went on missions together, with taeyong to guide and stealth, while jo assisted in attack in case they were caught. they were as if permanent partners with each other. they had same interests, and laughed together a lot. though everyone was cheering them on and teasing that they were a couple, they ignored it from the start and continued being the best of friends and partners. that is, until the battles got harder and they got stuck together in a long battle, they realised each other’s values and that’s when they started developing feelings for each other.

E  :  johnny was damn tall to her, and she liked that about him. she found him extremely funny, and they share a lot of jokes and laughs together. they’re like one of the loudest friend pairs there.

E  :  lucas is jo’s best friend in the whole team. though they felt dangerous vibes from each other at the start, they shook it off and talked to each other. from then, they were stuck at the hip at laughing, and would crack a lot of maybe inappropriate jokes that would make everyone else laugh.

E  :  they don’t talk to each other much, and jo kinda doesn’t like how jeno keeps on calling her with honorifics in each sentence, since it makes her feel so old. but aside from that, they’re acquaintances.

E  :  jo has never talked to haechan yet, somehow feeling uncomfortable whenever he’s around for some weird reason. it’s not that she hates him, she just can’t seem to stand near him.

E  :  jo and jaemin are probably the second closest buddies too. they hunt a lot together, and share many many interests with each other, despite the age difference. she admires and likes that at his young age, he’s able to hunt freely, just like her when she was his age.

E  :  jo treats jisung as some sort of baby. she always spoils him with a lot of food, hugs, and more. she also admires his sense of bravery, that he can fight even at his super young age.

E  :  jo isn’t afraid of endearing fallacy. she knows that they are just trying their best to keep the team good enough to survive as a team.
