✧ background: her parents had her and her sisters very young, because of this, they were disowned and had to raise her and her sisters alone. the only place they could afford was in a very shady and dangerous area. she learned from a young age how hard it was to make money and the lengths that people would go to secure a happy future. she saw a lot of things that people never see in their lifetime. they got lucky when eunmi was 12, her parents were allowed to go to college in seoul after an anonymous person who they still don't know vouched for them. she still unconsciously kept her habits of looking back over her shoulder every few seconds and clutching her bags in front of her body when walking around. she met her grandparents for the first time when they moved and she was astonished at how they carried over their disappointment in her parents into her. it stressed her out a lot. so she decided to start playing volleyball. she wasn't the best but enjoyed doing it. she eventually quit in junior year since she couldn't balance it with her school work. her mom mentioned running for class president when she realized how much her daughter's attitude could change her school.
