ABOUT HER ; xuxi can be seen as an optimist to others because as the soccer team's captain, she's the one who's constantly encouraging her members before every match. but despite that, she's actually really competitive at heart. and if they lose a match, she'll always cheer her members up by spreading positivity but once they all leave, she'll cry harder than anyone else in the locker rooms. chen xuxi isn't just academically dumb with barely passing grades, she's also rEALLY loud and talkative. she's THAT ONE friend who literally never shuts up and annoy the heck out of people by creating weird high pitch noises and just screaming a lot in general. patience actually ceases to exist in xuxi's dictionary as she's always so pumped up about something which leads to her lengthy patience so she'll always solve problems with the 'i-have-brains' way which is through challenges or competitions instead of the much more effective 'sitting down to talk' way which probably explains why xuxi has so many rivals sIKE. she's been living the independent life ever since she moved to korea on her own without guidance or whatsoever and usually she'll manage her problems on her on. yes, she may appear charismatic when she's striking a goal or she might look even look dumb when trying to decipher something new but actually, behind all those idiotic screams, xuxi is actually just that conservative girl who has developed the habit to keep her shit bottled up as she's been so used to living the 'alone' life. sometimes even DISTRICT NINE has a hard time trying to make her open up about her problems as xuxi usually just likes to avoid sharing her feelings by saying she's alright. it's quite obvious that she's the loyal to her friends type. despite MIROH being an ass sometimes, xuxi still sees her as a best friend and tolerates her dramatic ass because she prioritizes her friendships before anything else. she's also lowkey straightforward. she can be really honest with someone and won't hesitate to speak her mind even if it's her best friends. which honestly this personality trait of hers is a big disadvantage sometimes because she'll simply speak her mind and result in some major feelings hurting.

HOW DID SHE GET INVOLVED IN THIS MESS ; now, not a lot of teachers appreciate the fact that xuxi is plainly just active in sports and being so hopeless in her studies. they've even had meetings just to discuss whether or not with grades so poor should they expel her. but in the end the teachers decide to let her stay as she's brought so much glory back to the school in not just soccer but also other sports. however, there's ONE salty teacher named mr kang who seems to have a bone to pick with the girl. and xuxi noticed it when throughout his lessons, he'll always pick her to answer his questions and he'd always discreetly used some underhanded ways to get xuxi into trouble like purposely failing her on tests, or calling her out for something she didn't do and stuff. besides that, she initially already knew who hyunjin was due to them being captains of the football club and when she told hyunjin about mr kang's salty ass, he decided to bring this into the headlights for her when he and his group ( skiz ) planned the prank.

✧ awkward but cute lil bean; he really doesn't know how to act when he's around xuxi sometimes because he's a precious poof of sunshine that doesn't want things to go wrong between them
✧ initiative; this only happens when he got advice from one of his friends that he shouldn't be scared when confronting xuxi and he should always make the first move
✧ smiley and bright; yep, that says it. xuxi is secretly in love with his eyes smiles but that coward is too embarrassed to say it pSH
✧ overthinker; he tends to overthink a lot. especially when he broke up with MIROH, he's been asking himself a lot of questions such as "was it worth it breaking up?" or "oh no, what should i do when i see her in the corridors". like when something happens, he'll have endless thoughts and he'll eventually start blaming himself.

✧ calm and collected; he's usually really wise and suggestive in a situation where everyone is just freaking out. though he may seem calm, he actually has no idea what to do with the situation sIKE but his calm demeanor helps to calm the others too
✧ sarcastic and straightforward; uhm ok. don't be mean to minhoee or else you'll taste the wrath of his sarcasm and salty comebacks. though he does it with so much sass and calmness that people don't even want to fight back.
✧ pessimistic; he thinks very lowly of himself for some reason. he thinks he can't do shit until xuxi complimented him for his dancing only did he start realizing it.
✧ gud man; like he's the type of boyfriend every girl thirsts for but cannot get bc xuxi is one lucky bastard tfw. he knows the proper ethics to a date, skinship and what to do essentially as a boyfriend even though he had never been in a relationship before.

WHAT WAS HER FIRST IMPRESSION OF HIM ; she thought he looked like he was the character of her favorite manga and she thought his visuals were so unreal when they first met in the hallways.

WHAT WAS HIS FIRST IMPRESSION OF HER ; he's seen her play volleyball like a pro before he knew she was the captain of the female soccer team. and he thought she looked really charismatic with that smile on her face as she spikes the ball.


HOW DID THESE IMPRESSIONS CHANGE OVER TIME ; during an exhange match between the boy and girl's soccer team, hyunjin and xuxi were each other's marking. and xuxi thought he looked completely different from the first time she saw him, he was a completely different person when playing football and she was awestruck at his coolness when playing the sport. when hyunjin was marking xuxi, he noticed how perfectly natural the sweat made xuxi's face look and he immediately got flustered after admitting to himself that xuxi is indeed pretty. after the match, they got closer and noticed that they even had classes together. and since then, they've became the best of friends until each other them slowly began to harbour feelings for the opposite.

 he came down with a high fever the day after he ran in the rain. of course xuxi was mad at him for being so careless about his own health but nevertheless took care of him. okay so the real deal is when xuxi told hyunjin to go wash up because he was drenched in sweat but the latter refused to so in the end, xuxi had no choice but to use a wet cloth to dry hyunjin's upper body and she gets embarrassed and stuff ( ygi right HAHA )

↪ okay so she was on that time of the month. and she ran out of sanitary pads oops so she called hyunjin, waking him at a legit 4 am in the morning period of time asking him whether could he buy her some pads. of course being the loving boyfriend he is, he went to the convenience store and bought it with a red face.

↪ it was raining heavily and originally, xuxi was the type of person who loved rainy days but thunderstorms were an exception. she kinda of has a fear of it and would just hide in a corner of her room with her hands clamped over her ears as she shake in fear. and hyunjin knew that his girlfriend was afraid so when he saw the weather forecast he told xuxi that he's going over to her place for a sleepover and when the storm occurs, he'll let jiae bury herself deep in his chest as they lay on bed and he will stroke her hair, whispering sweet nothings to calm her down.

↪ they have a match against each other because honestly this is the best thing to happen between two football freaks and xuxi ends up winning. so the loser has to do smth for the winner in return as punishment. xuxi brings hyunjin to the rooftop during lunch and simply asks him to cuddle with her as they both talk about stuff while staring at the skies.

↪ they decided to have their own prank towards mr kang to seek some revenge by spraying washable paint over his car during campus hours and of course got into trouble and was to detention but they has each other so it was an enjoyable detention. like they would literally just jump out the window and escape when the teacher is asleep bc they both sPORTAYYY
